PROUD to be a Buckeye For EVER! Congrats to THE Ohio State Buckeyes on a great 11-1 season. Remember in Sept we were suppose to lose 4 games to Wisconsin, ND, PSU and TTUN. Congrats to Michigan and pray they win it all for the B1G. I hope they don't lay an egg against Iowa and or CFP like they did last year.

15:00 listen to Birm on the Pod this morning... McChord was focused on making mistakes before the game even started. If you go into a high-pressure situation thinking about "not making mistakes" or "having to win", you will, without failure get inside your own head and not be present or focused on the moment/ task at hand and guess what, you'll make mistakes.. Theres plenty of research on this, psychologically, human brains can't "not" focus on something. If you try, you end up focusing on the thing youre trying to avoid (like mistakes).

10 million a year for the HC, the highest paid staff in college football, and NIL money and free luxury automobiles for the "kids" means the fans get to criticize and critique as much as they want to. That they "played hard" is irrelevant, because it's literally what they're PAID TO DO -- just like an NFL team. These guys are now paid professionals in a variety of ways, so criticizing within reasonable parameters, i.e., no threats, no vile, viscous suggestions or name calling, is completely fair and warranted, and the people in the program -- millionaire coaches and handsomely paid players -- shouldn't be offended over it or whine about it (Dabo Swinney).

The Roman wilson TD was the correct call! He caught the ball inside the five yard lane and all he needed to do was break the plain with football. He had control when he crossed the goal line and his knee was down before the ball was stripped. This is a TD by rule. Now if he caught the ball in the endzone, he needs to complete the catch by going to the ground with possession, but he caught the ball inside the five. Only Ohio State fans think the Roman Wilson touchdown was an Ohio State interception! That’s ridiculous! As soon as the ball broke the plane, it’s a touchdown. It doesn’t matter that the ball is even moving because prior to that he completed all of the criteria for that to be a catch, and when after that, if the ball bobbles a little bit does not mean it’s now not a catch. He still has possession when it crosses the line. That’s a touchdown! Only Ohio State fans think it isn’t because you only look at the point when the ball is bobbling, but prior to that he had already caught the ball, watch play to its entirety! That’s why it stood on the field by the officials!

@John_Smith2112 Respectfully, the team was 11-1 in spite of him, not because of him. True freshman quarterback do fine often and excel at times. Hurts took Bama to a Natty as a freshman, Trevor Lawrence won a Natty as a freshman.. those guys are borderline generational but with the talent OSU has they just basically need a QB to not throw 2 picks in the rivalry and that would be a huge improvement.

I don’t think he’s playing not to lose. I don’t think he trusts his OLine to get a yard on a run and doesn’t trust his QB. How many times have we failed on 3rd and 1 or 2 with a run and seen Kyle throw a 7 yard pass into the turf? Kyle held this offense back in every game this season except Minnesota.

I don’t think analysts or fans understand this team to the extent Ryan day does. If Ryan day let Dwayne Haskins, Justin fields and cj stroud take risks, and he doesn’t let Kyle McCord take risks, what does that tell you. It has more to say about the quarterback than the head coach. And if ryan day understands anything, it’s qb play. Go look at what stroud is doing right now. Ryan made a calculated decision that Kmc could end the game at any given moment and he did his best all afternoon to not let that happen

    Michigan fan here…
    1) player lead team wins. Ryan didn’t trust CJ last year, and he didn’t trust the O this year. He took the wind out of their sails both times.
    2) tOSU HAD Michigan dead to rights with that long drive running it all the way down the field. As a Michigan fan, when I saw that and our D having hands on hips…we were broken. Why the world Ryan decided to stop leaning on our line I’ll never understand.
    3) we couldn’t contain the edges, why the world Ryan got away from that is also beyond comprehension.
**Summary…Ryan needs to stop being so steadfast in his game plan and start improvising, as the game dictates the best course of action. He has to learn to adapt, keep doing what works until the other team stops it. Then you improvise again and hit another weakness of the opponent.

No way is KMc a 5 star qb without Marv most likely a 3 star. Marv made him a 5 star.
I do feel for him following a series of generational questions, but he accepted the position and failed at it.
It would be interesting to know if all the camps KMc went to to get those 5 stars was also attended by Marv.
Also this was a miss by Day in choosing the qb. The Meetchigan qb JJ grew up wanting to be a buckeye where KMc grew up wanting to go to his dad's school Rutgers. I don't understand why you don't take the kids who grow up wanting to be a Buckeye.

O-h-i-o has almost no shot at a spot this year. Too many things have to happen. At least going forward you'll be in the playoffs for the foreseeable future. The expanded playoffs kills the winner- take- all element of The Game...which is really sad. Glad Michigan got the last one that really matters!!

Hypothetical, TTUN gets the death penalty for 5 years, Day wins the next 5 against bad teams, are we content???

I don’t care about Ohio State winning championships. The bottom line if you cheat you need to pay. If Ohio State wins championships as a result, that on TCUN, not Ohio State.
