I have 5700U, 16GB and can confirm Elden Ring works 720p high details 30fps locked 95% of the time using RTSS fps cap. I'm using PS5 controller via bluetooth, and the experience is equal to PS4 base machine. I think many games would work great with FSR Balanced upscaled to 1080p, but 720p looks still quite good on my 14" screen. I thought of buying a laptop 2x the price I bought this, but with a 3060 mobile. I'm glad I didn't because the 5700U is surprisingly powerful, and I already have 6900xt for 4K gaming. Bought this laptop mostly for work, but am finding very interesting use cases for this 620 USD Thinkbook 14 Gen 3 with the Vega 8.

At 20-25 Fps in modern games, they look quite fluid for such low framerate. This is a playable IGPU if you don't have the money for a modern gaming PC or laptop. Bear in mind I played games for years on an old Celeron 2048 Lenovo laptop

As far as I know it will be increased in triple A games (god of war, spider man, the last of us), but it also seems that later it will have a chance of being applied as a standard driver on the Steam Deck to improve its performance with the Frame Generator. So I think the same is certainly true for IGPU... Especially if you use AMD.

In the end it was motherboard replacement by the warranty.

As far as I know it will be increased in triple A games (god of war, spider man, the last of us), but it also seems that later it will have a chance of being applied as a standard driver on the Steam Deck to improve its performance with the Frame Generator. So I think the same is certainly true for IGPU... Especially if you use AMD.
Hey man nice review but is it possible for you to do a gaming test on acer aspire 7 a715 42g? The processor is ryzen 7 5700u with rtx 3050ti and I was hoping u could test it with 16gb ram because I'm planning on upgrading mine from 8gb to 16gb but I have to see if there are actually improvements so I don't waste money, this laptop can play games like valorant or csgo smoothly I was even surprised it was stable on dying light, but I don't know if it's stable on dying light 2 because in some games like death stranding it's really stuttery and I don't know if upgrading into 16gb ram will fix the stutters and I was hoping it could play well on dying light 2 but anyways I'm just wondering if it's possible for you to do a gaming test on this specific laptop but if it's not possible then it's okay😅 and that's all have a nice day❤
Do not buy acer apsire series for gaming because they lock tdp of cpu and gpu for maintaining thermals thats why we get worse performance
