I have 5700U, 16GB and can confirm Elden Ring works 720p high details 30fps locked 95% of the time using RTSS fps cap. I'm using PS5 controller via bluetooth, and the experience is equal to PS4 base machine. I think many games would work great with FSR Balanced upscaled to 1080p, but 720p looks still quite good on my 14" screen. I thought of buying a laptop 2x the price I bought this, but with a 3060 mobile. I'm glad I didn't because the 5700U is surprisingly powerful, and I already have 6900xt for 4K gaming. Bought this laptop mostly for work, but am finding very interesting use cases for this 620 USD Thinkbook 14 Gen 3 with the Vega 8.
@Juri V Well price will be sky high for them. Speaking about ones without discrete GPU, only iGPU. There are already models with RTX etc. But they heat more and last less cos it. 5700U 16GB, 2*8GB, 3200Mhz from 628 $ and up. Ussualy up around 700/800$ here in Serbia. At the moment.
At 20-25 Fps in modern games, they look quite fluid for such low framerate. This is a playable IGPU if you don't have the money for a modern gaming PC or laptop. Bear in mind I played games for years on an old Celeron 2048 Lenovo laptop

Always keep in mind, that you watch out for the usage. In cs go the graphics card use was 99% (maximum), while the cpu used around 20%, so if tweaked down to 720p, you would have way more fps Same with forza

Do not buy acer apsire series for gaming because they lock tdp of cpu and gpu for maintaining thermals thats why we get worse performance

I recorded it via xbox game bar and it decreases 2-3 fps only
