Loved these episodes. Any chance of seeing episodes 6 onwards. Cheers.
This is the 2nd episode that I’ve watched. In both episodes someone suggested that Hugh was a bit of a posh ponce. Well done! Great show & Hugh is a great guy even if his last name is spelled Posh. Love the book too. Making hard cider too.
He went to a university so posh he read philosophy and psychology instead of studying it. Still an icon though, loved river cottage since I was a child
Been a fan of River cottage Sun stay one
I love the human magnet that Hugh is….. not a Smartphone in sight….. thank god.
Typical hard working ENGLISH PURE BRITISH MEN with big blue eyes they are. None of these "ain it" boys from down south of the continent.
Never lived there it was a TV stage
Hugh is posh, but the series was great I watch them regularly.
I think Hugh pissed off a few people with his series about free range chickens when he was running down working class people for not paying double for a free range chicken, and his lack of understanding that some people just can’t afford it. He was wealthy from the day he was born, and he showed a real lack of understanding in that series imo.
Womp womp
Talk about a load of crap
@@ColinFreeman-kh9us ok let’s
Q
But Hugh Was rich from the very first episodes excellent television nonetheless
So what
So he paints a very rosy picture But try to live that life if you come from a rough or poor background without Any big week connections Like a TV company to start with and then aristocratic very posh family to boot
@@jamiejudd8018i live a life simular to this, I have 2 allotments, I keep rabbits and poultry for meat and eggs, I go foraging and hunting, make my own pickles, chutneys, vinegar and alcohol, and I'm hardly rich or from a posh background, I grew up in a council estate in Liverpool.
As a matter of fact, I don't think I could afford to live in a city, rent is cheaper here and free food is much easier to come by.
There's nothing wrong g with being a posh ponce if your a good guy
