Again no rev meter. It's small complaint from a very small minority of riders, but for them, it's a big deal. I like rev counter. Without it I feel like I miss out.
U don't need a rev meter for cruisers . Conti and interceptor has that .

@@adityaverma6754 dominar is a *power cruiser . Literally moto of dominar is "hyper riding on power cruiser" . Power cruisers are modern hybrid cruiser genre , just not retro . You are right no point conversing with people have no basic understandings like you .
@m r w h o . cruiser is defined by American cruisers , does harley has tacho meter i don't think so . Power cruiser is not a cruiser , its a completely different category , mixture of cruiser and sports bike . Supermeteor is a proper cruiser .
Strell, you are amazing! I literally type "Strell" into the search bar for every bike. I hope you make a longer ASMR version someday. Btw, did you also feel the lack of a taller 6th gear? I test rode this bike and the midrange grunt is intoxicating. Keep up the good work bro!

@Pranav I have pushed my cb350rs upto 140kmph. Upto 120 it's smooth ride. After that feels like needed few more bhp. But no complaints about stability, able to do corner in blr-mys expressway at 120+

@@arv1ndgr F = ma. You're pushing on one direction with the engine, and the air is fighting back. When these two forces meet, you stop accelerating. Larger weight mostly means it takes more time to get there, but the final speed should be the same, given enough time.
Weight does impact rolling resistance, which is a constant drag that reduces total output power, but is minimal in relation to engine power.

The First video I watched on your channel was RS 200 riding sound and I purchased an RS 200 shortly. Couple of months back, I watched your video on RR 310 BTO review and placed my order shortly. Taking the delivery this month. Now after watching this, i am planning to get a Meteor. The bike looks phenomenal but they could've worked on the instrument pod. A newly designed single instrument cluster would've looked more aesthetic

Sounds good and pretty quick to reach 100/120 which is enough for our highways. Anything beyond this is outright dangerous for everyone on the road. Thanks for the crisp to the point video.
100 on highways feels boring. With modern highway construction even 160 also feels nothing. But everything comes down to brakes and if you can stop the machine in time.
@@AbhishekPathak21 Our roads are not built for speeds over 120kph. There are people driving/riding on the wrong side, cattle and animals darting across, etc. Good brakes aren't going to stop you, what you need is lightning fast reflexes and control which isn't the case in accidents. And of course, if brakes were everything, no superbikes or super cars would have accidents. Ride/drive safe sir.
Tbh this is not a bike for the highway anyway. What I love about these bikes is the pureness of riding. Most of the other bikes go 200km/h with ease which only tempts you to speed like a maniac.

Because in most of the expressways bikes won't be allowed.
Then even if we have regular highways too broad and well designed, then also 100-120 km/hr is a very safe yet sufficiently fast option.
Because driving sense among majority of Indians is Stupid. Let's face the facts....
Then 1 must not forget even on highways we have many such idiot pedestrians who try to cross it like they are crossing the street adjacent to their home!
Basically people don't have sense.
So.... It's very true, speeds beyond 110-120 km/hr is still not safe in India.

@@ankitanand676 yes, the bike doesn't need a 150 section to put down the power the weight is enough to do that.
@@kbalaji4769 150 section is very important for a 650cc or i should say any bike above 300cc coz i always feel that i would lose grip on my continental gt 650 with 130 section tyres on the corners.....previously RE used to come with pirelli tyres on 650 twins, which provided enough grip on the tarmac but these ceat is very useless and cheap, u won't believe when the tyres are cold, it wheelspins when u just give a throttle to overtake
and slower than a 373 cc dominar

What do you think strell..is it possible to achieve 3L/100km consump at 70kmh easy relax solo ride in 6 gear constant trottle on the flat asphalt road? I m 180 100kg... And 2 question...is it the 120kmh on the highway solo ride comfortable speed for the engine?

I'm sure exhaust manufacturers are already working on aftermarket pipes for these. The 650 engine sounds quite gimped with stock pipes. My 650 Interceptor engine sounds like it had been released from its cage when i put aftermarket silencers on it.

What is a comfortable cruise speed on it for a long distance ride? I'm wondering how well it would handle on US highways where I may want to cruise at 80mph/130kmph, and maintain that speed for hours.
If you need to convert that to MPH just divide by eight and multiply by five..

I think meteor 350 is enough for Indian roads, i dont feel much need to spend so much for extra speed..would rather use that money to go for travelling on 350.

I was stretching minr felt like a rev limiter and a speed limiter on the bike. The 4th geae stretches to 140kmph and there so much more potential on this thing but it just gasps for air on max rpm .. anyone else feeling the same?
I think RE has some sort of speed governor. How come 2 cylinder engine only goes 160kmph and 411 cuts of exactly at 120kmph? Must be having a governor.

Royal enfield has reached next level, this bike is going to give other brands a tough time, 650cc with so much power, daaaayyuuumm.
There are a lot of more powerful 650cc machines, this is actually pretty tame. There are 600cc bikes that will easily top 240km/h.
@@onecookieboy yes but 600cc inline 3/4 and 650cc parallel twins are overall a different categories with 600cc costing more than twice what 650s cost
@@Torquebeast650 There are plenty of 650ish cc twins that make a ton more power, Suzuki's SV 650 springs to mind, also all the Yamaha bikes with the CP2 engine (admittedly 690cc) as well as the new Honda and Suzuki twins, Kawasaki's excellent 600 twin, the Aprilia 660 and CF Moto offerings. In fact, one thing that stands out about the RE engine is that it's the only one which is air cooled.

@@Torquebeast650 The SV650 is actually less than the Continental GT by over $1000 NZ at the moment, they have a deal going, even when the price goes back up both bikes will be within a couple of hundred New Zealand dollars of each other.

Its parallel twin. Its does not produce vibration as much as single cylinder.
Also they are not smoother like 4 cylinder.
But, this engine is really refined. 100kmph is very very relaxed. To compare, going 100 on this bike is like 40 kmph on 110cc commuter scooter. Now you can understand how relaxed it is.
This is capable of doing 120-130kmph cruising speed.
Dont be confused with top speed and cruising. Too speed might be 160-170kmph but, cruising speed is 120-130.
My continental has the same engine, at 100kmph you can barely hear the engine because it's not even under that much load

This is proper highway machine. PROPER.
High speed stability is greater than Dominor.
There is a huge price gap , Dominar is under 3 lakhs
Why don't you a gps speed meter it's much more accurate and also suites your style. Consider using it.
Hi All,
I'm planning for a new bike confused in between himalayan 450 and Super Meteor 650. I know it's odd to compare an ADV with a cruiser. I'm receiving different opinions from friends and family.
Requirement:
1. Need a bike for family of 3(Me,wife and a baby)- received comments that himalayan pillion seat height space will be bit difficult for wife and baby.
Suggested super meteor celestial variant as seat is wider than other two and backrest is provided.
2. Very minimal off road use. More city and highways. - Suggested super meteor since it's good for highway rides.
3. Looking for daily commute to office and home. - bit sceptical about engine heat in city traffic and heard that meteor chainspoket and back breakpads doesn't last morethan 3k kms.
Appreciate suggestion from owners and experts.

Go for it I also do my daily commute on SM650. It will give you heating issue if you drive it for 40 min in traffic only then you'll feel the heat
Now I get it who rides all those bikes in traffic rider:)
