I play on the Gaia 4, 7* and Brahma 7* for tenor. The Essential jazz tenor 7* for me plays similar to the Gaia 4. I also had a student play test my Essential and he bought one. These are pro level mouthpieces at a bargain price, exactly what I needed 40 years ago 🤣.
Love it the best review. The price has caught my attention. I’ve been looking at the Otto Link Florida V $400, I use a Jody Jazz Jet size 6, however The essentials Jazz doesn’t come in this size, I’ve read maybe the 5 would be a good fit instead of the 7, 7* and suggestions? Thanks
I would probably try the 7 essentials over the 5. The is a big small for a tenor piece so unless you really like closed tips, I think you would rather play on the slightly more open than closed. There is also a contemporary facing for the essentials series if you really liked the jet.
I heard you say that you met up with the TW staff in Bellevue, Washington, at their manufacturing facility. I might be wrong, but I think TW is headquartered up in Bellingham, Washington, and they do all their R&D and manufacturing there. When I inquired about factory tours, and if they had a retail store on site, I was told the facilities are not open to the general public, and they suggested that while in Bellingham that I visit a certain local music store to try their products.
You are correct I said that it was Bellevue when I meant Bellingham. You are correct they do not give public tours and they do not have a retail outlet. It was because I was working with an employee I got the invitation. Sorry if I made it sound like just anyone could go to the headquarters.

Isn’t that the truth?
I got the #5 for alto three weeks ago and I love it.
Super cool
Thanks. It's hard to find any reviews on these
You’re welcome. They really are great mouthpieces and I’m not joking when I say that within a week, I had five orders going in for them.

My student was playing on the JJ Jet 7* and moved to the Essential Jazz 7*. His sound improved greatly.
