This was 💯 sultry 80s vibe! I’d recognize that sound anywhere!!! (note the signature 80s mullet) but Jimin put his special ‘stamp’ on it! This brings back old memories! He makes me want to go back to that era and experience it all over again! Another masterpiece! Beautiful, haunting, sexy, honey sweet, Angel voice!!!! He’s all grown up!!! Love him so much!!!💜👼🏻🐥👑 ***Notice the words “Set Me Free” on the bathroom wall?! ***This whole album is just incredible!!! Phenomenal!!! p.s. It’s much deeper than sexual or a good time…it’s about escapism from his troubles but being lonely at the end of it…it didn’t work - the troubles don’t go away. I didn’t get a happy vibe…it was emotionally sad/painful for me. Btw, I think she was him - another side of him…
don't forget to also include "Letter" which is the hidden track only on the physical Cds, Jungkook does vocals on it and Jimin plays the guitar on it and its the most beautiful and special song
@@Alejandro_2003 so we can say that Weeknd brings back the 80s music trend now , like since blinding lights got viral most of the artists have started making songs with retro elements
Jimin said during his interview “ The track like crazy is a synth pop song. It is about the painful feeling of losing oneself while searching for a loved one in a dream but still wanting to stay in the dream forever.
This is what’s being whispered in the MV, I believe it’s from a movie he drew inspiration from for the music video itself, also called “Like Crazy”. Beginning: “I believe we can last forever”, “I’m afraid that everything will disappear”, “Just trust me” End:“Alone again” and “What’s the point?”
I will be glad when Jimin actually discusses the songs individually similar to what RM did. I wish people would give their opinions without saying their opinions are facts. As far as I know almost 100% of Army doesn’t know him personally. I enjoy your reactions Family and you state what you think the videos and songs mean. I love the album period. Each song has different vibes. I appreciate Jimin sharing this part of him. I feel honored 👏👏👏👏👏😊😊💜💜💜🔥🔥🔥👌🏾
I've decided to piece what's out there and throw in my own theories too. 💜 This song is more than just a love song (Bookish Theories has an explanation for the song's link to the movie) or a club feel good song. Jimin said that it's about escaping reality to deal with one's wounds. The "she" he is referring to isn't necessarily about a love interest but possibly represents Jimin's Anima. We see a girl whose movements mirror Jimin in the mv, they never meet before Jimin cuts to looking at himself in the mirror. What does the Anima means? - An individual's true inner self that in the analytical psychology of Carl Jung reflects archetypal ideals of conduct. Your anima is the unconscious part of your mind that works automatically, without introspection or awareness. Some psychologists believe your anima affects your dreams, fears, and habits (loop this back to what the song is all about). Also the Anima is an inner feminine part of the male personality. Hence the boy and girl kissing is probably Jimin's masculine and feminine side coming together. The person with muddy hands who grabbed Jimin is Jimin himself. What does the mud represent? I'm not 100% sure, but my own personal reading is its Jimin's DEPRESSION during covid* and his long standing anxiety. These are the wounds mentioned but not elaborated by Jimin. In the mv, Party Jimin is interrupted by the mud and he has to go home to Sad Jimin. Which of the 2 Jimins is in the real world? White Jimin seems like he is in the real world but he could also be at a place in between the awake and the dream (if you have a mental issue you would know that you are often on a different plane, not in the present yet not in the dream world either). This mv reminds me of Suga's SHADOW but we are dealing with a different part of the SELF here, one not explored by BTS yet 🙂. RM did PERSONA while Jhope did EGO. And of course all great artists are a lil crazy :) *Jimin struggled badly during the pandemic when live shows were shut down because he live for the shows and probably defined his person and himself as an artist from the live shows. When Jimin performed again on MOTS:ONE, he was legit crying during the ments segment.
This song has been in my head all day and I'm not hating it!!! It's amazing!! Jimin is breathtaking! I'm so happy for him!! I hope it does well. Omg, the words! My delulu mind is really into overdrive now! 😆😏😏😏
Jimin is in a dream. He said the album is about what he felt and went through during the 2 years of the pandemic and that it’s in chronological order. This album is a masterpiece.
This is a vibe. Jimin is so attractive i am so proud of him!! “Like Crazy” sits on synth pop genre with intense synth sound and drum sound, upon which Jimin’s poignant timbre draws a beautiful distinction.
Really amazing Commentary and discussion about Like Crazy an Jimin vocals and range as a vocalist and performer who has definitely brought back 80s synth pop
As the album is focused on depression and some difficult times he endured over the past couple of years, I think the song could be about escapism, and how sometimes it can be easy to try to drown out the feelings of loneliness with alcohol and wandering thoughts, and it could almost feel like nothing else matters and you're enjoying yourself lost in the moment ('I'm feeling so alive, wasting time'), but eventually you'll have to wake up and return to reality and face that room filled with nothing but yourself and your thoughts. Another interpretation could be that all the people surrounding him in the MV represent ARMY, and while he's on stage performing and interacting with ARMY, he's having the best time, but at the end of the day, he is an idol in front of and judged by millions of fans, and he cannot tell us everything even if he wants to, so there's still a feeling of disconnect and loneliness despite being surrounded by so many people who love and support him. Just like in 'Interlude: Dive', you feel that emptiness when he returns home alone, and he'd still rather be in the 'dream'/'lost in the lights' on stage where he's surrounded by ARMY and having a good time, despite never being able to forge real-life connections with the people who love him from afar. From his perspective as an idol, everyone loves him but no one truly knows him. He feels the love on stage, and we obviously still love and support him from across the oceans and behind our screens, but it must be lonely not being able to forge real connections with the people he dedicates most of his life and career to. It's like the imposter syndrome to the extreme ('all my reflections, I can't even recognise'). But, despite all of that, he'd still rather not wake up from having these good times shared with ARMY, even though one day, that might all end and people's lives will go on just like they always do. Obviously, this is just another of my interpretations. I know many interpret the reflections part differently, but I personally don't feel comfortable commenting on that unless Jimin explicitly tells us that's what he was going for (not that there's anything wrong with it, but moreso because I feel something like that is very personal and should not be casually speculated on). I personally think it's genius how the songs are ordered in the album. It feels to me like we're going through 5 different stages of depression with him: 'Face Off' - anger/dejection, 'Interlude: Dive' - the feeling of emptiness after leaving the stage, 'Like Crazy' - escapism, 'Alone' - loneliness, and 'Set Me Free Pt.2' - finally setting himself free from these negative thoughts. I think 'Interlude: Dive' is super underrated, and the transition from 'Interlude: Dive' to 'Like Crazy' is hauntingly beautiful.
Jimin said he was going to do a live on the 29th to talk about the album, he came on live after being onn kbs and was wondering if everyone found the secret track and they told him yes and he was smiling...the letter he wrote to army that was the secret track...
They need to name a drink after Jimin! Maybe call it cutie, sexy, lovely. I know I’d be sipping on it all day, and night! Love this track! His vocals omg! Congrats Jimin on your solo album FACE!!! It EPIC!!! I’m so happy for you!!!
this is such a unique style of sound that i've never really heard bts do, and i'm loooove that jimin was the one who did it, its real ear candy. reminds me a lot of music from the midnight, that loud music-that-drowns-out-every-bad-thought-aside-from-clubbing vibe. and on that note, seeing jimin clubbing was so incredible 😍always putting out these masterpieces and yet i'm still so amazed!
The girl represents the other side of Jimin, and that's what the album is about, about her true self, her inner self, the other side of the mirror, she looks similar to Jimin so, is the female version of Jimin, right after this scene appears Jimin in front of the mirror That's why they didn't meet, because there's no way for Jimin to meet another version of himself, only in front of the mirror
this song about to played tf out by me, i am obsessed with the song called less than zero by the weekend and like crazy gives me similar vibes. i am so proud of jimin!!

Yeah, the background narration and the lyrics make it seem like this song is about a break up or having met someone special from the club and he gets a yearning to get back to meet his person even though he's done with that lifestyle. He knows it's dark underworld that he's walked away from but at the same he knows he can go back and make it back. But as he's there the mud from the world starts caving in and he makes it out with his hands muddy from crawling out. And then you hear him say "alone again what's the point". He knows he can hang, have fun, pick up, but he's looking for that special connection like the person he met in the intro with the girls voice.
The album is a story. Small hints everywhere Walking toward the female - walking to the feminine Bathroom see writing on wall Mapplethorpe photo on his pant leg
HOLA CHICOS ME ENCANTA SU REACCION ME GUSTARIA QUE REACCIONARAN A LA CANCIÓN DE LETTER ES UN HERMOSO POEMA AL AMOR SALUDOS DESDE MÉXICO 😍😍😍😍😍💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🇲🇽🇲🇽
It’s not Stranger Things vibe, it’s just 80’s! 😅 ST took all references from that time period including the opening credits song which is based of a very famous tv show in the 80’s… When I see young people say it’s stranger things I don’t know why it bothers me so much lol, same as when someone says a song is famous from Tik tok…when it’s been famous forever… like a classic…guess I am too old hahaha 😂
so I scrolled through a bunch of comments, and I can’t seem to find anybody who has let you know, but the pictures on the pants are self portraits of photographer Robert Mapplethorpe. Who did self portraits, celebrity portraits, and (at the time) what was considered controversial/obscene nude/gay/bdsm photography. this is actually interesting because some of his photos really coincide a lot with some of the photos we see in Jimin’s recent photo book. I also like that, you guys picked up on the fact that it seems to be that Jimin was the one pulling himself into this dream world. One where you can drown your sorrows (one way or another) and feel the need to not want to wake up to the reality of what you don’t want to face. I’m also very partial to the interpretation that the girl in the music video is a reflection of him, which is also validated by the dance choreography, video and performance on Fallon. Which digs deeper into the idea that you are fighting your inner struggles on top of everything else weighing you down. and sometimes you just want to let go and forget all of that.
In the beginning it says: “I think we can last forever” “I’m afraid everything is going to disappear” “Just trust me” At the end: “I’m alone again. What’s the point”
I think he's trying to escape his depression or gloomy mood (mud floor) by going to th club, drinking, enjoying himself at least for a night but then when he goes back home again he said what's the point. Also in the bathroom you can still read set me free.
I think he wanted to convey him trying to escape the darkness which the mud represents, by partying n drinking...but at the end of the day..the darkness follows him home...muddy footsteps n hand. Chronologically through the album..this song came b4 Set Me Free...so it was til he worked through his darkness that he managed to set himself free.
Wow Jimin is no longer our Mochi for sure! Waiting for his performance in Fallonshow! Lyrics are so RM’s💜❤️ loved all songs in the album! The total English version of this song is also sooo good!
Jimin's shirt says Stockholm 1996. A not so subtle reference to the Sewol ferry disaster in S. Korea, which of course is what their song Spring Day is about. The western European agreement for the ro-ro ferry safety reached in Stockholm in 1996 and is valid for ro-ro passenger ferries, irrespective of flag, trading regularly between two signatories, ports. According to Stockholm rules, a ferry must withstand 500 mm of water on its watertight vehicle deck when the residual freeboard in a damaged condition is below 0.3m. If the residual freeboard is above 2m, the 500 mm of water on deck is reduced to zero. The height of water is measured from the lowest point in the flooded compartment when trim and heel are taken into account. If that point is under the waterline in a damaged condition, the water height will be measured from the outside water level.

so I scrolled through a bunch of comments, and I can’t seem to find anybody who has let you know, but the pictures on the pants are self portraits of photographer Robert Mapplethorpe.

Please react jimin performance Jimmy Fallon
In the end man said: “ No I won it, he said I alone again”
this girl who appears is his female reflection in the case of his " ANIMA " just like BTS has already discussed this about Persona and ANIMA
I think the girl in the video represents jimin

It says alone again. It's not Jimin talking. Also, they did find each other ....I guess people don't wanna believe Jimin would do such a thing. They ain't a bunch of 30 yr old virgins people!😂
