Like crazy is DEFINITELY my new fav song. its very upbeat and has a 80’s retro pop sound AND THE BASS GUITAR! that sealed the deal for me
This song sounds like a dark fairy tale. your voice sounds like a whisper making you go somewhere. it's like a dream, but again like you're using substances. you kinda start to feel a little bit of what jimin wants us to feel. that girl, once they meet in the middle, all the half-stop shots look like we see him through that girl's eyes. and at the end he looks as the camera pans around, it's like we're spinning too but looking at him as he says "I need a way we can dream". and he looks down again like he can't find a way and it hurts him to the core. it's just not a new thought for him to cry over, just to accept that he'll keep trying. he looks at the camera often but looks different when we see the girl is nearby. it seems that he is talking to us/her. But it's like he's trying to tell us something that's hard to explain, but he does. he'd rather be outside than feel the sad emotions sober. Jimin said something about the album expressing the feelings he felt during the pandemic in chronological order. in a sense it involves the army, bts or jimin himself all at once. it was always about us, emotions confirm how he must have felt all this time. the "forever you and me" is always in the background at different times, only softly if you listen carefully. some things I still can't fully explain but it's not just us but Jimin himself, always striving for perfection but all things considered seems out of reach. the "alone again... what's the point" is so painful because he can really feel it. as if he gives up for a moment, or goes back to being sad and sober, no longer in the club where he can forget in the company of his friends, fans, etc. there's so much I want to explain, but there are some things I can't connect or explain yet. regardless, this M/V was profound. between sad and the sudden sound change slowly relieves you of the sadness and distracts you, until you are alone again, then it starts. no wonder he doesn't want to go away or be saved. he wants to live in that moment when everything is temporarily fine. the bathroom scene reminds me of movies where the party is outside and the bathrooms are where you will cry and think and reflect and drown before you go out again and forget. you want to forget, but you occasionally remember, leading you to go back and forget AGAIN. the sadness being an incentive factor to go out and party, not sober up and just enjoy the lights, completely lost. BETWEEN A MIX OF FICTION AND STRONG REALITIES. ANOTHER WORK OF ART BY THIS THINKING BEING. APPLAUSE.👏👏👏❤
Beautifully said, as Jimin said, if you got the message he was trying to say then the album is a success.
I don’t think I’ve fully grasped this album yet. There’s been so many emotions involved that I haven’t been able to get a full chance to embrace the message yet.

Yes, this comment. I agree, it feels melancholy to me though and the more I hear it, the more I feel it. It's like something out of grasp but you know it's there and you want it but it makes you overwhelmingly sad that you can't quite reach it so you do whatever to forget but know that when you're not "forgetting", it's there so you keep trying to "forget". I know this feeling well and when it comes back around, this song will be a beautiful accompanying source of support. I absolutely love songs like these, let me stay in this dream bc reality gets hard sometimes and I need a break; just a short break and then I'll get back in the fight to reach whatever the goal is. If this is truly how Jimin feels sometimes, then I am so thankful that he has a strong support system to help him; plus ARMY of course. #ApoChimpo 💜

YALL HEAR ME OUT- the albums called face, and if you pay attention to the lyrics through, theres a clear theme of introspection. BEFORE JIMIN CAN MEET THE GIRL, the scene changes to him in front of a mirror. also, shes wearing a jacket very reminiscent of his fit in SMF.
THEREFOREEE, the way i see it, she’s a symbol for his own reflection-thats why even though he’s looking for her (ie. a different vers of himself), he never actually meets her FACE to face.

The whole Album is named FACE..
BIGHIT themselves said: "FACE" is all about Jimin facing himself head-on as he gets ready for his next step as a solo artist. They also wrote:
Circle of Resonance:
"reflection" of vulnerable minds and unexposed wounds. Face, the reflection of myself in and unfamiliar appearance. Face of facing the deepest part of inner-self. (->Circle of Resonance has also something to do with the three circle Album Covers etc..)
I also read somewhere that reflections just reflect each other, don't meet, that's why they walk in circles or follow each other..
So the person who pulled Jimin into the party with a dirty hand, like himself at the end, was the girl.. she supposed to be his reflection (but her muddy hand was already dry and „crusty“ but Jimin‘s muddy hand at the end was wet and obviously new..🤔)
(there are also some theories that he chose a girl because “like crazy" actually is about having a conflict between masculine and feminine sides, trying to accept but never actually coming into terms with himself and that's why they never met in MV. bc it stressed him out it was easier to get lost in the feeling of euphoria partying gives you)
-> if you look at jimin's journey the way his style changed, the way his body changed, he was talking a lot in past years about accepting himself and feeling comfortable in his own body so yeah it does make sense.. Jimin also once said: „What the hell is men?“ and said that he wanted to appear like a strong men back than (his muscles, gestures (example: showing of his „manly and strong body“), style..)
= so „she“ is himself. (The girl is also wearing clothes with the same concept as his hard wear outfits)
(Fun fact the song Like Crazy is also inspired by the Movie Like Crazy (the voices at the start and end of the song are dialogues of it)-> Jimin said about the movie: I thought it would be very romantic and sweet, but it turned out that it's actually a very realistic and stark depiction of a breakup.)
But you don’t have to worry about him..
Jimin also said in an Interview:
I'm so thankful to my members for inspiring me to start working on this album. I don't know how people are going to react to the music, but I actually was able to completely resolve and move on from all those feelings of being lost. I'm perfectly okay now, so I'm so very thankful to them. I just wrote the emotions as they were, exactly how I felt two years ago, and the emotions that I felt in every situation [at that time].
Another ”theory“ out there is that is FACE Album has the 5 stages of grief.. witch is probably definitely true because his Album shows us a story about his struggles and how he slowly gets over it etc.. The Album is in that order:
(1. Face-off = Anger, 2. Interlude:Dive = Denial, 3. Like Crazy = Bargaining, 4. Alone = Depression, 5. Acceptance)
Surprise: There is also a hidden track at the end of the Album (just when you buy the CD) named Letter witch starts playing at the end of Set Me Free Pt.2 at minute 06:13 (their debut date) with Jungkook Background Vocals and Jimin playing the guitar.. it’s a Letter to himself, BTS and ARMY -> it’s also the seventh song ( you know 7=BTS etc..)
Another fact: The song Interlude:Dive doesn’t have lyrics but there is a clip from the Busan Concert Yet to Come in it (their last concert together for a long time after a long time and he said: Wuah, Everyone, I missed you so much.

I'm Jimin! ) ..after the ”concert“ we can hear a car driving and doors etc.. and at the end he fills something in a glass and drinks it (alcohol)-> then ”like crazy“ starts playing .. but the other sounds are still a mystery to me in the track.. the heavy breathing or walking or the knocking in the beginning after the -dreamy like- Melody.. it’s just SO much!…
but the way the album goes from him being angry in ”face-off“ (with kinda clown (joke) style music at the beginning) to drinking after a concert in ”Interlude:Dive“ then partying in ”Like Crazy“ then waking up in beginning of ”Alone“ (alarm clock startet playing) (while being alone=depressed) then facing his inner thoughts in ”Set Me Free pt 2” and thanking everyone for helping him go thru everything in the song ”Letter” and that he wants to stay together forever etc..really feels like he is telling a story in order!
Conclusion: Jimin is a genius. And there is probably so much more and don’t forget the visuals with probably some hidden meanings in the Music Video.. (the only thing I know now is who the one guy on his pants is…-> Robert Mapplethorpe -> was an American photographer, best known for his black-and-white photographs. His work featured an array of subjects, including celebrity portraits, male and female nudes, self-portraits, and still-life images. !His most controversial works documented and examined the GAY male BDSM subculture of New York City in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Jimin said that he is very straight forward and that he says exactly what he means in his Rolling Stone Interview for Face. The song is based on the movie Like Crazy no hidden messages.
Oh I might add that I like to think things over and find meaning for a lot of things.. so yes I could be wrong or overreacting but I just find it very interesting! 💜 Jimin also said that on the 03/29? he will talk about the album. Maybe he says a bit more about it!
Jimin is so bold and transparent to the point that he becomes invisible to other people's eyes
And I truly wish I'm one of those people who can't see through him so that I wouldn't have to suffer like this and just enjoy his music

@@justjennyi if you read his interviews he spoke about this song and the movie already. I would encourage you to read his words versus what the fans are saying. Yes he will do a live on the 29th to discuss the entire album, but I think some of these theories do not align to the purpose of the song or album.
I know 80s when I hear it (I was there😝) and this was 💯 sultry 80s vibe (note the signature 80s mullet) but with Jimin’s special twist on it! He makes me want to go back to that era and experience it all over again! Another masterpiece! Beautiful, haunting, sexy, honey sweet, Angel voice!!!! Love him so much!!!💜👼🏻🐥👑

if anyone is wondering, the girl jimin was walking up to was his own reflection. But in a unrecognizable way, the women was his inner self. He was facing himself. That’s why he ended up with mud on his hand, and notice in the beginning someone with a muddy hand dragged him, it was hisself but in a different body aka the lady.

There’s always multiple meanings to song but the one that makes the most since is the lady as his reflection, i’ve seen the choreography and lyrics and it all makes since. I've decided to piece what's out there & throw in my own theories too. 💜 This song is not as sexual as it seems. Jimin said that it's about escaping reality to deal with one's wounds. The "she" he is referring to isn't necessarily about a love interest but possibly represents Jimin's Anima. We see a girl whose movements mirror Jimin in the mv, they never meet before Jimin cuts to looking at himself in the mirror. What does the Anima means? - An individual's true inner self that in the analytical psychology of Carl Jung reflects archetypal ideals of conduct. Your anima is the unconscious part of your mind that works automatically, without introspection or awareness. Some psychologists believe your anima affects your dreams, fears, and habits (loop this back to what the song is all about). Also the Anima is an inner feminine part of the male personality. Hence the boy and girl kissing is probably Jimin's masculine and feminine side coming together.
The person with muddy hands who grabbed Jimin is Jimin himself. What does the mud represent? I'm not 100% sure, but my own personal reading is its Jimin's depression during covid* and long standing anxiety. The wounds mentioned but not elaborated by our Mochi. In the mv, Party Jimin is interrupted by the mud and he has to go home to Sad Jimin. Which of the 2 Jimins is in the real world? I haven't figured that out yet :( Maybe both of them are not, hence the dreamlike quality of the mv. Jimin himself asked not to be saved and not to be waken up from the dream.
This mv reminds me of Suga's SHADOW but we are dealing with a different part of the SELF here, one not explored by BTS yet 🙂. RM did PERSONA while Jhope did EGO.

LIKE CRAZY💖😍♥️❤️🤩I believe Jimin is dreaming. These songs came about due to the way he was feeling during Covid. He's lonely and wants to get out. I think the mud reference being stuck. He's pulled into the club to have a good time. He doesn't want the sun to come up because he knows it will end. I think the girl represents ARMY. Jimin loves and misses his fans, so he's looking for them, trying to meet them in person. The mud on his hand at the end is probably his dream and reality overlapping. Remember, like crazy is the first song on the album, and set me free the last. That's why they are so different. The album is the journey he was on. ANYHOO, I LOVED THIS SONG, WHATEVER IT MEANS
I agree! Jimin mentioned a ton over the pandemic how he missed concerts and performing. That it his dream, and was the reason he wanted to become a singer. Now the stage is forcefully removed, and he’s almost become sort of entertainer(not that we all don’t love run bts).
Jimin has described performing as this out of body experience many times, and now that it’s gone, he wants to find something to fill that gap.
That’s my take. Jimin is going live on Weverse on the 29th to talk about the album.

FYI My theory is based on Jimin's own statements about 'FACE' being about his depression, anxiety, disillusionment and feeling loss during the height of the Covid pandemic and just after the Vegas PTD concert, and finding ways (sometimes not healthy) to overcome these Demons! I am starting to form a theory about this song. I'm wondering if the woman (the voice, the hand, walking in the crowd, & even in the stage performance with the women circling him) is the personification of alcohol. If you listen to Suga in Suchwita, he references Jimin's drinking a lot during the pandemic. Also, the lyrics fit ... "it's going to be a good night," "You give me a good ride", & how he wants the morning to stay drunk so that he is not woken up by reality. In the end, he walks back to reality/sobriety with his hand once clean hand now covered in mud. Just my thought ... but it makes sense to me. Watch it again and see what you think. 💜💜
