- In this English lesson I will talk about the country of Canada. This is the country where I was born, and where I live to this day. In this English lesson you will learn words like, "capital", "trading partner", "official languages", "national sport", "national animal" and many more.
Many of you have asked for this lesson for a while now and I'm happy that I found the time to finally make it.
I hope this English lesson helps you learn some new English words and phrases which you can use to talk about your own country! If you are a recent immigrant to Canada or a refugee I also hope this lesson helps you learn a bit more about your new home!

Hi, Bob. I fell in love with Canada ever since I was a child, when I saw some pictures at some pages from a book in school. Then I realized; "Oh, I must live in such amazing land." The lakes, the Rocky Mountains, the deciduous forests, the cold, haha I really hate the heat in Brazil. Maybe soon that dream will become true, I'm working hard on that.

I have often told you that you are a lucky man, today after watching your video I have been able to see some pictures about maples at different times of the year and I have got impressed, it seems good country and good people.
The maple trees are very nice in the summer when it is hot. They make incredibly good shade to stand in to get out of the sun. 🍁🍁🍁

I miss Canada so much! I've been to Toronto once and it has been the best experience in my life so far.
When I was in translation school (learning German, not English, by the way), we had separate culture classes, called 'Knowledge of Country and People'. This reminded me of those classes. I remember our Portugese teacher took us out to a restaurant to learn about Portugese food culture! Good memories. I was in Alberta last year. It was awesome!
