    • @twowaymirrors

  • @adamsisson5458
    @adamsisson5458 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Awesome video.
    For those wanting to build, I noticed the LED's aren't on every edge and there is an X pattern in the top panel where the LED strips cross. Maybe I'm looking at this wrong but I haven't been able to create a path along cube edges that don't double back on each other, and so in an effort to not mess with with the LED circuit, you can splice in wiring and double back on a LED strip, giving the illusion of one seamless line of LED's that follow all 12 cube edges (Provided you hide the wiring of course).
    Question for the uploader: I see you put a first surface mirror on the bottom to further enhance reflections but can you get good results from 6 two way mirrors? I really want this to look the same from all 6 sides.

    • @twowaymirrors
      @twowaymirrors  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, works great with all two way mirrors! A first surface mirror is a nice upgrade, as it reflects 96% instead of 70%, so you lose a lot less light with each reflection.

    Another cool video you could do would be to marry the mirror cube with cymatics. However, it may have to be constructed like the Great pyramid. You may have to use UV LEDs to illuminate the particles moving around in the field produced by frequency. I am unsure how acrylic would go with this, as rubber mats are usually used

      Look up understanding the 11 dimensions. There's a bloke who does good animated examples, then jams out on piano at the end.
      If you think of a cube as a living object (like many of the world's elite) a tesseract represents the cube being fully exhaled and fully inhaled.
      It is said by some non-sketchy occultists that the Great pyramid is actually a tesseract, so there's no missing block at the top. Instead of the cube breathing, it's moving more like a magnetic field.

    Okay......Ummm....What? LOL I'm assuming the plastic material you put down first was to protect the table underneath when you cut the glass?
    Then I'm totally confused........
    Inserting parts into table? So Are these the 5 mirrors from the list of parts?
    When cutting glass, is it the mirrors that were being cut?
    Then you put leds on what appeared to be a flat metal bar which is not the L shaped bar in the list of parts.
    Also where do the 90 degree L shaped bars go?
    The Leds were applied to one bar?
    Then you used the first surface acrylic mirror on the bottom.
    Next you put the 5th glass mirror on the top.
    What happened to the glass that came with the table? Why wasn't it just tinted with mirror tint and placed on top instead of buying a whole nother glass mirror?
    What length of led lights were used and where were they mounted?
    Were the 90 degree aluminum bars used in the corners ?
    Were the lights attached to those? If so how could they go from one corner to the next without being cut?
    I am so very lost.

    Sadly directional two-way mirrors don't exist. A two way mirror is a piece of glass or clear plastic with a semi-transparent coating on one side. If it looks less reflective on one side, that's because a grey-tinted glass was used. This is common practice for interrogation room style two way mirrors where you want to make sure the person in the brightly lit room can't see anything going on in the dimmed room. For an infinity mirror illusion you want the glass to be as thin and clear as possible. If you're confident the material is not going to scratch then plexiglass if your best option. If the surface is going to be handled and needs cleaning, then thin glass will last longer.

    Have you made a non directional hypercube at all?
    I would be interested in a non directional hypercube that has a photoelectric sensor mounted on the inside. When lights are turned on, the sensor will detect this. When the LEDs are turned off, the state of the sensor should not change, according to science.
    However, according to Walter Russel, the state of the sensor should change basically instantaneously when power is removed from the LEDs. Walter Russell's cubic wave field inspired hypercubes a decade ago. While not everything Russel stated was true, he did make a number of predictions that actually beat mainstream science.

      @@twowaymirrors Not to get too crazy but you could also do a combo infinity box chandelier with a separate circuit for lights on the box corners. Then you could suspend the whole thing under a ceiling fan. The surface of the fan blades could be mirrored. Maybe that's going too far. It would take some skill to cut the mirrors and make sure everything on the fan is perfectly balanced to avoid wobble. Anyway, I hope you do the chandelier thing. Subscribed.

    you said 5V strips are dimm and 12V strips are better. That is not true. It depends on leds per meter. In video you are using 12V strips which can control only 3 leds at the same time, this is looking bad. When using individually addressable led, let's use real individually adresable led! It is looking a lot better, even better are strips with 144 leds / meter. I made infinity dodecahedron (60led/m), it is looking great and will be even better with 144leds/m.

    • @twowaymirrors
      @twowaymirrors  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great point! It's just a rule of thumb for newbies shopping on Amazon. A lot of the 5v are dim.

      most strips are using WS2812B leds, they are bright if you can supply the amps. My infinity dodecahedron has 240 leds (4m of 60led/m strip) at full brightnes white it consumes around 9 Amps at 5 Volts. Of course if you connect 5m strip to crappy 5V powerbank it will be dim.
