I'm not sure what happened to this Lady. I hope She is okay too! I was 16 yrs old then, so this incident did unnerve me at the time... however Praying Soothed My Soul and Strengthened my Heart and Mind too. I hear someone saying they rebuke him in the name of Jesus. I remember one time when I was there, in the outdoor Adoration, a woman not that far from where I was sitting started shouting a load of gobblygook. The only word I could make out was the word "Africa" . It wasn't until a priest came down and sat next to her speaking to her that she then settled down.
You are right, even though the whole situation might sound scary, the song everyone is singing and the sweet part naming Jesus, soothe the soul, so the scary part feels far away, like you are already protected. This video shows the power of the presence of Jesus and Mother Mary, no fear just peace and protection.
