I've been watching your content for a few years but rarely comment. When I first found your channels, I went back and watched a bunch of your older stuff. I like what you do now, but what I think would make it more engaging would be taking us out of your apartment sometimes. So us your favorite coffee shops. Your friends. The park. So excited for your content in 2025, Katie! 2024’s best accomplishments were definitely publishing two books and seeing my channel start to gain traction. It’s so hard to grow sometimes in niche communities and I try to not focus on the numbers so much (but it’s hard sometimes) and I really need to improve on engaging with content. It’s difficult with uni and the time difference of the authortubers I watch so I always end up watching the videos a week later since I have so much going on with my studies. I love the Dossier recap! I really want to purchase some of their perfumes.

Omg yay for your running training goal!!! I’m a runner and it’s my preferred method of exercise (except sprinting, not distance!) My goals are: 1. rebuild my savings (belle had quite a few health visits this past year so I had to dip into that pot a few times) 2. Continue my 2024 reading goals: diversify my reading genres and read from my shelves (read it or unhaul it style) 3. Get back into gym / fitness. I’ve already started this one a couple months ago and I’ve been consistent! Now it’s just maintaining it!

OMG! I am so excited for your marathon content! I would love to run that race. I've done several half-marathons and I want to do a marathon so bad. I was up to 16 miles in my training plan when I found out I was pregnant and I had to back off. Running a marathon is definitely on my bucket list.

I’m terrible about engaging outside of my channel and I watch SO MUCH content 😩 it was actually a goal of mine last year and I did improve but I’m such a multi-task watcher (laundry, eating, dishes, hands full) that I forget to pause and take a beat to respond to the wonderful videos I watch. I haven’t missed a ONE of yours in the past year and I promise you’re not talking to yourself ♥️ but I know the feeling. Views don’t feel like people to me. A conversation does.
I’m also a horrible TH-camr. I watch and forget to comment a lot of the time. I used to do vlogs twice and week and fell of the wagon over a year ago. I look back and am reminded how much fun it was to film my life. I have a goal of reading more this year. I hit my goal of 52 books in 2024 which was the most I’d read since BK (before kids)

2024 wins: I wrote (and actually finished) 4 novella drafts. I had 5 personal writing challenges and achieved them all! 2025 goals: I wanted to do this last year, but certain things came up that kept me from doing it. But this year, it will happen. I am going to be revising a historical romance novella, getting beta readers, an editor, and then publishing this novella at some point in the fall! Or sooner, depending how Q1 and Q2 go for me.

I think more recently it's felt like you're just posting to get a video up. The videos lack the heart they used to have. Which I do understand! I'm not a TH-camr, but I imagine it would be hard to maintain that passion for creating videos. This is just my non-judgmental and honest opinion of why your videos might be getting less engagement.
