Life how beautiful, we make plans but it winds it own way, we think we are the Grand Canyon, but in the end it's the rivers that have there say, how beautiful. Whatever stands above and in direction of it all, I am in awe.
@@dillonohlemiller9027 Nah sorry, I still think it's a great live performance of one of their best songs. You're never going to capture the exact sound of the studio recording live, but this is as near as dammit!
There will never be another band like them
Yes.
Man I love REM. Nothing says I went to high school in the 90’s more then these guys 😂❤
When I first heard this song it reignited my love for REM ❤️
This song was more a return to their guitar driven earlier work
They always did it their way, in their own time. On their own terms. Legends.
I think that is why our generation loved them so much.
great song, from a great band.
Tight
Cannot overestimate their influence. Thank you , REM❤
I could watch Peter Buck mooching around the stage all day. A little back kick here and a shimmy there. Fantastic guitarist as well!!
Fantastico! Greets to every REM fans in the world! Here is one from Argentina.
Hello FL!
This song is fucking amazing!
Amen.
One word !! Unic and lovely. The best band ever.
Athens Ga. Small bar, they weren't noticed yet, but saw a great gig. Also B52's same night. Best $5.00 I ever spent.
Viva the music and memories of R.E.M. - the band of a generation.
A lot of memories. Jones Beach around 85, Miami OH in 87, MSG in 89, Jones Beach again in 2008. Loved this band.
Great late R.E.M. song
Just about my favorite song from them so underrated
Easily their most under appreciated song.
What a great band.
Infelizmente tudo que é bom sempre acaba amigo 😢😐
Killer live version
Great Performance ... Love this Song.. and It would have been Amazing to see them Live
They always in our minds ))) Now we understand how beautiful life was before...
Sad day when Bill Berry retired from the band, but Stipe, Mills, and Buck can still SHRED!
No credit to their drummer Bill Rieflin?
Everybody here
Comes from somewhere
But they would just as soon forget
And disguise
At the summer camp where you volunteered
No one saw your face, no one saw your fear
If that apparition had just appeared
Took you up and away from this place
And sheer humiliation
Of your teenage station
Nobody cares, no one remembers and nobody cares
How you cried and you cried
"He's alive, he's alive"
How you cried and cried
And you cried and you cried
If you call out "safe"
Then I'll stop right away
If the premise buckles
And the ropes start to chafe
The details smart
But the story's the same
You don't have to explain
You don't have to explain
Humiliation
Of your teenage station
Yeah, you cried and you cried
"He's alive, he's alive"
How you cried and you cried
And you cried and you
Realized your fantasies
Are dressed up in travesties
Enjoy yourself with no regrets
Everybody here
Comes from somewhere
That they would just as soon forget
And disguise
Yeah, you cried and you cried
"He's alive, he's alive"
Yeah, you cried and you cried
And you cried and you cried
(Oh, you cried and you cried)
(Oh, you cried and you cried)
Now there's nothing dark
And there's nothing weird
Don't be afraid, I will hold you near
From the seance where you first betrayed
An open heart on a darkened stage
A celebration
Of your teenage station
It's an experience, sweet, delirious
Supernatural, super serious
An experience, sweet, delirious
Supernatural, super serious
Wow
Best Live Version BLV😭😱
Sem dúvida uma das maiores bandas da História meus amigos.

Stipe il poeta, Stipe il cantante, Stipe l'uomo irraggiungibile. REM MERAVIGLIOSAMENTEUNICI ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Brilliant.
Amo vcs❤
Essa banda não devia ter acabado.
“ At the summer camp, When you are volunteer” :)
Mike Mills can join Mike Dirnt as an underrated backup/harmony singer.
When I think of my embarrassing past I just think, "Nobody cares, no one remember and nobody cares".
que temazo ..
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a great way to end the song
Mike mills has the best bass parts
Aguante REM
You're still the better, nobody is UP…
Ric Flair on drums
Bill Rieflin, excellent drummer!
Is Peter singing backup? Whoa
No he didn´t
That's touring musician Scott McCaughey singing backup toward the end.
Only if you don't know who Peter Buck is.
Mike Mills🎶
Jonny Sins at the voice
I find this whole performance a bit flat...
...including Michael’s vocals
I find you a bit flat !!
@@LOVEDAVEGAHAN no, he’s right...it doesn’t have the same punch as the studio version. Still good, but it’s lacking something

Personally, I like this version better than the studio. The mastering on the album is notoriously awful.
