Love this product! I used the Striptease with his collagen powder and an olaplex 1 with foils to remove permanent blue dye. It did really well removing the dye as well as kept the integrity of the hair structure. Does not bleach the natural color of the hair(I have dark brown Asian hair) so please be aware of that. It’s just for removing dye.

My hair is thick black and coarse. I got it to a level 9-10 with absolutely no damage because I did it over a few weeks. I decided to go to the salon to tone and have the colour out on because it was a friend. She damaged my hair on purpose and I ended up needing a shaved pixie from having it a little shorter than the lady in this video. What a nightmare. Thankfully in less than a year, it was at my shoulders and now past them. My hair has never grown so fast. Anyway, I wanted to say thank you. I wish I could skip the cutting and all that and just be a colourist.
I cannot wait for this product to come out! I have purple and blue in my hair and I wanna get rid of it to do something different, but I had the idea of bleaching it. So this will be awesome to try out!!!
Stuck with green hair. I’m autistic and dyed my hair with directions last year and have been using anti dandruff shampoo to make it fade, gave up and dyed it green again. This will be a lifesaver
@@georgiesucks went and made the choice to dye it my favourite colour and I’m not having a really hard time thinking of changing it. Should have started with a colour I didn’t like so much which would have made me want to change it.

It also works with developer which means, it's also an Oxydation process or isnt it? I hope I use the right terms cuz im not a native speaker but Id love to understand the chemistry behind it.

I hope I can explain it the way that it is understandable 🙈 Direct dyes, at least in Germany, work because of their positive Charge. Due to the Oxidation process that comes with the bleach the pigments get deeper in to the hair and it can last longer because the hair gets more damaged so it's charge gets more negative and the bonding between the positive pigment and the negative charged hair gets stronger. It works like a Magnet. That's why I wonder how this works, cuz when ever you do sth with developer it will be an Oxydation process. And I would love to know why this has obviously a different effect than bleach.

That's why it looks like such a great product because since direct dyes are becoming more and more popular hair stylists are struggling to remove them from the hair. There are color removers made for permanent hair color but they don't work on direct dyes even though people try to use them.
@@Smilesremember2Smile some of the removers for permanent dye can actually work on certain direct dye colours. Not all but I have managed to go from bright neon back to blond using them.
Color removers like strip tease shrink and lift the direct dye molecules off of the hair cuticle where as bleach goes all the way down into the hairs cortex (below the cuticle, leading to more damage) to remove the dye molecule. Bleach is just not the best thing to use to remove direct dyes, it’s better used to remove Demi’s and permanent color because those colors sit deeper into the hair cortex where direct dyes only sit on the cuticle layer
People are sleeping on this video what the heck. You should do a video using it on other popular hair dyes maybe then people will pay attention. Your products are always so good

How does it work on virgin hair, like what if I have new growth and I put this on my hair to get colour out and accidentally get it on my new growth, will it lighten my new growth?

This is amazing, what would it do if it came in contact with virgin hair? My niece has red on her tips and she wants to go back to her natural with some highlights. Would this only remove the faded red or will it also lighten her natural hair?
That is so amazing! But it your hair is really dark, like dark brown, and very thin and fragile. What do you recommend using to remove some of the colors? I really want back my original hair color but without breaking it. 😱

Bleach doesn't work to remove direct dyes. It can actually make the color stay longer.

Color remover does not take pigment from natural hair. It oxidizes/ shrinks the dye and makes it "disappear"

You would avoid the natural hair. Or apply with lower volume on damp hair. And rinse as soon as color dissapates
