Your voice heals my anxiety 🥺 I am always so relaxed and happy after watching your videos and calmly excited to try the techniques myself. Keep posting Alain. 🤗😊
I find myself being very thoughtful about my comments on your videos! I am still amazed at how you continue to surprise me with your mark making! I am so happy to have found a modern master impressionist to watch creating his Art! Thank you for continuing to show us how you create your inspirational paintings!
“God bless that pastel that won’t see the light of day ever again!” LMFAO ❤it! Thank you for making me laugh! Love watching your videos- your a great inspiration! Beautiful work! Who doesn’t like the world at sunset 🥰
I am well and truly inspired. I have not felt this motivated for a very long time. The colours are like jewels. Looking at the reference photo , I could see a lot of blue and loved the way you showed restraint and only added it at the end with the touch of blue -grey. Using the hake brush is a bit like a vignette effect in photography. I can see some perspective blur in the sky too ,so I am going to try and find a way of making marks to achieve this. Thank you so much Alain.
how lovely to see the development of a such a fresh, expressionistic rendering, Alain...it provides a beautiful contrast to the more academic style, yet your exploration of color theory is beautifully academic, and for that I thank you tons and tons. Although I've been painting what I've called "prismatic" landscapes for decades now, I'm new to pastels, which, of course, is an entirely new planet from which to take joy! Thank you for so exquisitely sharing not only your knowledge, but also what I love to call "Sacred Fire"! As we learn form you, that fire then joins our own and goes on and on and on, yes? Beautiful!
Beautiful! Beautiful! You are truly a brilliant artist! Thank you for sharing this amazingly, relaxing video with us! So happy I have discover your channel. Please take care and keep up the wonderful art😉💕
I love this painting! Alain I know that you covered pochade boxes and tripods before. To say the least I am not very techy and it flew right over my head but I would love to find a decent, stable hopefully not outragiously priced one. I would love for it to hold a larger painting and I also watercolor in plein air too. Stores sell many things that are bulky. I would not be flying in an airplane with it but wondered if I could ask what you think . Wc palettes can be bagged but I would love to be in the elements. Thank you for your instruction and kind positive advice. 🤗
Beautiful. I love tonalism. Lately, I’ve been toying with the idea of incorporating tonalist methods into my pastels. Time to get to it and experiment. Thank you, sir! 😊
Wonderful, your my favorite Artists, you bring such peaceful momentum to this medium, I'm happy yr not doing the patron thing.im going to purchase yr books, are there ever any workshops in west Florida?
LOL. So sweet to see a full demonstration of how Alain regards Pastels.b”God bless “ the small piece of Pastel that dies.
