It's so good to see you out after the awful hurricanes. Bless you my friend. By the way, I'm a Virginian who loves your videos, I admire the way you help others. Keep up the great deeds, you will be rewarded by and by
Hi Shawn, That's either a 10 pence piece, or a two pence piece. The 10p coin is silver in colour, and the 2p is bronze in colour The 10p coin had a milled (ribbed) edge whereas the 2p coin is smoothly edged. Great find. Cheers, from England!🏴🇬🇧
Nice hunt and a beautiful ring recovery Shawn 👍 My nice finds for this week were 3 gold rings, a few wheaties, IHP, shield nickel, another 1865 2 cent piece, and I consider this next one my best find ever, I got a 1853 Trime silver 3 cent piece 😜
Ok i love watching you find random things, and my heart breaks for your community after these hurricanes, but i have to say- the toilet seat is my favorite of your finds I've ever seen
Cleaning up the Florida beaches is a good thing no matter what you pick up. It great that you found that ring for those ladies. I love it when you get those freakin pull tabs. Keep up the good work I love watching your videos.
Great that you find her ring Shawn. We just got back from holiday ( Rarotonga , live in N Z , ) We found approx 45 crusty coins in the surf with hand held ‘ scuba tectors ‘ and yes a hand full of freakin pull tabs. Can’t wait to go back !
Hey man I don’t know you but I think what you’re doing well I’m proud of you!.. Your content is excellent.. Bringing people’s hopes and dreams alive while finding there precious valuables.. Well done 🇨🇦🥓
So fun to see such heartwarming videos of you spreading your unconditional love and Karma to people who have lost hope in finding a lost personal treasure. Your videos touch a lot of people who need to see a positive act of caring in a world seemingly filled with too much sadness. Thanks for that...also I was tickled watching you find those mercury dimes as it brings back fond memories of one of my first metal detecting finds which was a perfect conditioned 1916 mercury head dime in my grandparents front yard! Also, I was a little worried about your friend Ivana and was hoping she fared well through those scary hurricanes? She is such a sweet girl and a joy to see in your past videos! Can't wait for your next excursion!
Thanks!! I won't be metal detecting here for a little while. Red tide is here, and conditions aren't very good. I'll be on the East coast for a little while
didnt find any gold with my nox 900 but had a great time. in the coolgardie area and by ord mountain in california. was using my gm 1000. by ord mountain. ,learn your machine. have a good day boss.
Nice recovery Shawn.. surprised you guys are not getting any jewelry in that washed away dune area ... with coins that old there must be some good rings lying around !
@DetectFlorida just means that somewhere many years ago there was a bigger storm that buried the heavies even deeper! We have that here... 12 ft of sand loss to find crusty silver 🙄
Was detecting yesterday at a tot lot, found only 69 cents, but I did find a strange coin. It was a 1983 Queen Elizabeth II one pound coin??? At a school's practice field I found a $20 dollar coin from Jamaica. Could only detect for 3 hours, our clay soil is like digging into concrete.
I saw a clip from the Victoria's secret fashion show and they had a dress made of pull tabs. I definitely yelled "freakin pulltabs!" 😂 But hey! You're pulling up fashion materials!
Great work as always. Got a question, what do ya use for sunblock out there. I always get fried and I wear stuff just was curious. Thanks for the hunt and congrats on the treasures.
Hi Shawn I’m seeking some advice for TH-cam.I live in PHX,AZ. I’m retiring from teaching special education for 24 years and my wife and I took up beach detecting 3 years ago. I use the 800 she has the 900. Actually, I prefer the 800. Lots and lots of great finds. I’m not trying to brag but I’m getting really good at this! I met great people and have wonderful relations. We enjoy your videos and learn a lot. I want to start a channel when I retire. Do you have a recommendation as far as devices to record (I just got the IPhone 16pro ) and also have a go pro 10 Black) . Also, editing apps for beginners. I enjoy how you are knowledgeable and straight forward. I am to be the same. I know my skills will translate into a great channel we would all enjoy. Ps… Florida beaches were very very good to me in January. Thanks so much Jeff in Phx
Hey Jeff. A GoPro 10 is a great camera. I use a 10 occasionally in my videos. As far as editing apps, I'm not familiar with any beginners software. I use Adobe Premiere Pro
Have you thought of taking one day a week and giving private lessons? Not sure you have the time, but I’m sure some people would love it and you can also make extra money?
Look how happy you made those ladies! Thank you,Shawn…you’re an absolute sweetheart for doing that!❤️
Your mystery coin looks like a UK 10p piece.

Great video as usual, even with all the hard stories in that area, you are a bright spot, and a great ambassador for the hobby.
Aww nice return of her ring! You made her very happy ❤
Previews ruin the fun! Love your channel and what you do for regular folk! Keep up being a great man!
I like the previews alot, don't spoil my fun please. Just don't watch them if you don't want to know.
Good luck Mr Shawn I hope you have great luck today I'm getting a little bit better from my stroke God bless 🙌 🙏

The beach used to be the only place that held valuables. Now the whole state is covered with treasure.
Nice recovery Shawn.. surprised you guys are not getting any jewelry in that washed away dune area ... with coins that old there must be some good rings lying around !
You'd think there would be some in there! I was surprised that we didn't find any

Great find, Shawn! Will you be detecting any cemeteries this Halloween? 👻 🦇 🎃
Haha not a chance!!!! 😂
Maybe show us all the trash you find for each hunt to show us how much work goes into finding GOLD! Thanks!

Nice
Great work as always. Got a question, what do ya use for sunblock out there. I always get fried and I wear stuff just was curious. Thanks for the hunt and congrats on the treasures.
Thank you! I actually wear kids mineral sunscreen. It goes on kind of thick, so you really have to rub it in. It lasts a long time though!
I'm 48 minutes late to the video, breakfast took too long. Haha
I find one mercury dime same year nice find
❤❤❤
Great video as usual. Hey what kind of booties do you wear and how do you like them... looking for another pair for my beach hunts.
Thanks!! I use Mares Trilastic boots. Its a neoprene zip-up dive boot with a sneaker sole. There's nothing better!
po box key used to be $1 if you sold them back to the post office, may be more now,
That tag came off a crab trap.

I recovered a 1899 Indian last week on a beach that the sea wall collapsed.

You are simply mahvahlus
Do you ever find sea glass?
Yes I do!
So pretty much about 800 freaking pull tabs before you find one gold ring.
Pretty much!
Hay budy missed you where you been hiding
Wow you are ignorant to what happened 3 wks ago?
@@elizabethbaldwin8488 dont call your family names

I currently don't offer lessons, but that may change one day in the future
