Rockets have improved their roster so much since last year with a proven coach, I would definitely expect them to compete for a playoff spot.
In a couple years yeah. Doubtful this year. They probably win around 28-35 games roughly. Improvement from last year - not a playoff team yet. Just my prediction.

@@tigeryumyums9407 I think they have made huge upgrades, Van Fleet is way better than Kevin Porter, I expect Amen Thompson to be a rookie of the year candidate, guy is super talented, Jalen Green will be better, Jabri Smith will be better as it looks like in Summer league, even getting someone like Dillon Brooks who is a quality starter on a team like the Grizzlies will help. Jeff Green and Eason should be help also with a proven coach.
they can jumpstart their playoff hope if they trade some of their assets for a solid piece. they're overloaded with inexperience good young players. I think they're building around J. green but he's not ready for that main role just yet.

all these teams passed on him, the guy was projected to go #5, once you saw him fall below the top 10, teams should have been trading up to take a chance on someone with that type of talent.
It is said that he was very unprofessional during practices before the draft. He left one practice and said he is done. And then they find him in the locker room, smoking... That's why he fell to the 20th pick. Imo, still steal of the draft, considering the potential.
My guy was a steal at No. 20, I was watching the NBA draft and was super confused why nobody was taking him. I know he had a bit of health concerns, but he is a STUD. Now he's making NBA teams feel stupid for not picking him up.

He's an offensive talent. He just needs to work on that motor. I've seen him give up on so many defensive posessions. I would guess thats the reason he dropped to 20.
Motor really isn’t a concern this kid just turned 19! So he will get stronger, faster and more endurance as he grows. Not sure why he dropped, but he definitely looks healthy.

He dropped because of injuries. He couldn’t even do team tryouts at all I believe so any team would be drafting him blind without actually seeing him play against nba level talent

If I was Cam I'd be pissed at my agent for costing me millions. No way he should have fallen to 20. I'm not saying it wasn't his fault as well, but you pay an agent to make sure they sell you and put you in position to sell yourself accordingly. The drop from 5 to 20 is crazy in terms of $$$ Also great for Houston, but if Cam does have some maturation issues it seems like a pretty bad spot for him.

True, it’s half the money dropping from 5 to 20. Instead of getting 6m he’s now making a little over 2m.Regardless of the money, he fell because of his character issues and his motor. He had extremely poor workouts and teams were probably scared away when they seen he isn’t much of a competitor.
