I lived in West Monroe over 35 years ago for 6 years. I ran across Phil a few times in the local sporting goods store a few times. I recognized him from his duck videos. He was a burly man. Very soft spoken. To see him make it big put a smile on my face 😊
Jim from Cincinnati Ohio, I was so proud of our city, the entire city broke out in prayer. One of the largest churches in town, Crossroads had a great service of prayer for him the next day. Groups of people stayed outside of the hospital praying for him. The league told them to take five and prepare to start playing again but the two coaches got together and told the league noway ! With Damar making a full recovery in rapid speed to me was a God wink letting us All know He is here!!!!
Jase, I am a mom and after my boys had grown, I started having trouble keeping track of time.. I don't remember their ages. Heck, I don't even remember my own age most of the time. I have a tough time remembering time and wish it was not like that. It can be embarrassing but I cannot help it. I am with Phil...I am concerned more on behaviors and hearts 💕 and it doesn't matter how old they are or I am. :)
You are blessed to have such a close family. Remembering their ages, other than a range, is not that important. The photo idea is great. Also, it looks like Phil got a new shirt; very nice.

Jase has said before that he doesn’t know what day it is half the time, and ages change every year, I can sympathize. I have three kids too and now 4 grandkids…to make it simple I just remember the years they were born cos that stays the same and then all I have to do is figure out what year it is and do the math 😁. It’s not an age thing, I used the same technique to remember how old my parents and grandparents were since I was in high school.
I love this discussion of knowing names?, knowing who is who? the day? … The fascinating part is seeing them know and turn to the exact spot of a certain verse. So I know it’s not a Memory problem… but rather a priority issue (not a problem, but order of priority)

The misuse of justice that resulted in Christ's crucifixion was the will of the Father. Sometimes we can't even imagine how God will use the circumstances of our lives for the good. He knows the beginning from the end because he's already there. He's not just everywhere, he's everywhen. That's a revelation I keep coming back to meditate on. It's another example of his Majesty. I can't grasp the enormity of that.
That’s how I felt when my now husband waited two years for me and we got married. But after I was baptized I felt so completely different my whole life changed around. I surrenders to Jesus and I don’t watch secular music or watch movies with profanity it on. In fact I watch Pureflix. I will not watch shows on Netflix at all. If their like that. And I felt like I had an encounter one night I can’t explain it but I felt like the spirit of God had given me a new heart. And I could understand but then felt more under attack. Because I knew I wanted to be closer to the Lord. More then anything. The only thing that confused me is I thought that after I was baptized I wouldn’t make mistakes or that it would be different. But when I do I can feel the weight of my sin and confess immediately. I know I’m covered in his Grace but I keep myself away from worldly things. I just sometimes. Need someone to help me with reading my bible. And understanding scripture more. It can be hard to misinterpret it sometimes. So Shane. What do you do when you do sin and your feeling so guilty and you repent but feel attacked. Like your s failure?
I understand why people like the “red letters,” but Jesus said to read all the letters. See Matthew 4:4. Every part of the original writings turned out just as Jesus wanted them to. Great show, as usual!
This could be the reason genealogy of Jesus is so important. I must admit I’m not good with that either but the Bible is totally different and number one.
Now as far as calling your parents by their name instead of mom or dad, I think, just me you should have more respect and call them mom or dad, and not Phil or Kay, but that’s just me. I remember I called my grandpa by his first name, and 😱😱😳😳😮😮 I got the snot beat out of me, and was told you never call your elders by their first name, you will call them grandpa, and granny 😭😢🥺 geeze never did that again
In regards to knowing all of your grandchildren's names and their boyfriends...Phil said the Bible does not mention knowing all of their names...but what about the geneologies listed in the Bible...God is listing all their names. :) And, Phil could speak to the boy/girl friends about Christ and see if they are ready to repent and know Jesus. Well I hope you listen to Paul. Jesus revealed to him mysteries that were not known before the beginning of the world. Paul also revealed the gospel of Jesus Christ which you guys don't believe...1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Baptism is not required. Baptism is a profession of faith in Jesus.
They can be bad here in Ohio I've seen them come down. And hit a home here then bounce and go up and then skip a couple places and then hit for five to ten mile but I don't get scared any more God has meif I go I'm okay

I have heard you say He died for our wrong decisions call it what it is sin...Jesus died for our sins...we can make wrong decisions with many different areas in our life that is not sin...possibly picking the wrong duck call when hunting ducks 🙂
Dates are important. If we use Jesus to keep time, he uses us. Regardless of which family he returns to- the dates matter. If it drives her crazy she's gotta help you out. Can't teach a duck to be a fish successfully. Eventually, you'd drown. With the two of you or as a family, get together and make a marker. I like to update ours on our anniversary to keep it consistent and see how things change from year to year. You make a art project. Any kind of art project, whatever medium you want. Last one we made was a light house. At the bottom it starts with your union date. And your birthdays. And then each child, in-law, grand kid etc.. think of their birthday as the number God gave you to represent them, like their birthday is one of their nicknames. You put their number to represent them, and the light house gets bigger and bigger. Use it as a beacon to remind the family members that have trouble keeping track of how big the tribe is.
