This was a good time! Great mix of personalities and I loved that Ms. Kay can let loose without her men (although I love them, too!) interrupting or crabbing on her about something. Aunt Ann was a bonus treat, too!

It’s Thanksgiving Day, my dad and son flew in from across the country, but this morning I woke up with a fever and tested positive for Covid. Despite being achy and sick, I have a lot to be thankful for. The Duck Call Room today gave me joy and lifted my spirits and I genuinely felt better after the podcast. As I lay here in bed, I thank God for you and pray that God bless you richly. Thanks for lifting my day. Happy Thanksgiving.

Easy peezy pie crust
1 & 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
Mix together
Cut in 1/3 cup REAL cold butter until mixture seems grainy
Add 8 table spoons water and mix using your fingers...add 1 tablespoon of water at a time if more is needed just to get rid of dry flour...
Make a patty with your hand out of the dough ball.
Lightly Flour your surface...and roll out your dough
Use your rolling pin to help you pick up your pie shell and lay it over the pie pan...
Perfect crust...EVERY time...even for beginners!
