- Review of the 5 Star All Inclusive Caribe Delux Princess Hotel in Punta Cana Dominican Republic. I had recently arrived at the airport in Punta Cana and taken a taxi from the airport in to the hotel zone. Then I took an uber ride to this resort that includes all you can drink and eat. In my coming videos I will be going to Las Terrenas, Puerto Plata, Samana, Cabarete and Catalina island, as well as Santo Domingo.

I have been living here in the DR for 43 years and there is no "real" rainy season. Google does put that out, but no one talks about a rainy season. No one cares about the rain. It rains and then suddenly it goes away. For the most part, it is very sunny and hot all year round. And, I might add, it is getting sunnier. I like your content. You remind me of a young Boris Becker. Keep up the work.

Where do you recommend living in the DR ? I only know a little Spanish. I was in Santo Domingo, Boca Chica , punta Cana the last two weeks but didn’t fill the vibe I was looking for but not giving up yet. You recommend any other places?

I wish you had a friend there with you to share the experience with but if you're okay with having all of us, then that's cool. I have done a fair amount of solo travel and I must say, I liked it.

I just got back from there, I had D pesos, but most stores, restaurants etc prefer US dollars. Everything was priced in US.

Yes these places are good for a regular holiday, but for me I had a much better time exploring the island using local buses to discover the real island. These all inclusive places you could be anywhere and you won’t find what the island is all about and get a proper understanding of the culture and nature 😊
I agree...the real Dominican life you do not see in a big expensive Resort in Punta Cana..i prefer the North Coast ..Puerto Plata.... Sosúa... Cabarete... 🇩🇴. 😃

Do you ever go for a massage? That might interesting to film. Or take cold showers to inspire creativity (or for whatever benefits u might get out of it)? Since you have philosophical takes on things, it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on such things.
Your videos are so professionally done ~ loved the photos and commentary on the tropical birds. The resort is gorgeous; however, I would like to see you drink a bit less. Also cut back on the Coke. (Yes, I am mother to an adult son ~ nagging is automatic)

Do you still have to buy drinking water, or, can you drink from the faucets inside this resort?
No, you can't drink tap water anywhere in the DR, probably the same for all the Caribbean. They just don't have the same filtration we do in the 1st world. The resorts provide bottled water in the rooms for brushing your teeth etc.
Now that's what I'm talking about William! You are back in your element, the beach life!!!! Life's a beach, William.... The reality is, YOU ARE A BEACH GUY! You are a beach guy! POOOOOOOOL TRICKS!!!!!!!!! Enjoy the food and drinks!

@2:30 there are no squirrels in the Caribbean. What you saw was a mongoose. The Spaniards brought mongoose to the Caribbean during the colonial era.
You bring up a great point. After working in psychiatry for 35 years, people’s biggest issues are social isolation and lack of daily structure. Enjoy the island life!

I always get the feeling that some authenticity is lost when nature is too sanitized and manicured. Great to have high end expectations but don't muddle up too much with the environment.

That all inclusive resorts looks beautiful lots of green,animals,pools and food! $100 per day for lodging ,unlimites food and drink is a bargain. Don't just drink alcoholic drinks when your are not use to them ,drink some juice drinks and water.
Hey William. I am at the Caribe Deluxe Princess right now and showed Leonardi Da Vinci your TH-cam video. He got very excited that it has 60k views and he feels famous. We had good laughs and he had me show it to all his other coworkers at the hotel. He was also jokingly asking me if this fame will now translate into money and if you will be sending him his cut for being in your video. Hehe.

We love all the animals in the hotel it is so nice walking around and seeing the flamingos and turtles and iguanas it's so cool and unique. Be careful with the alcohol. People have died from delutted alcohol. There have been several stories about deaths at these all inclusive resorts in the DR.
It has infact been **Rumored** but those are indeed false. Bad U.S propaganda, the fbi did in fact go to said resorts wh-ere these "mysterious" deaths occurred and concluded there was no foul play and the people dying, died of Natural causes. It's no brainer many tourist from all over the world visit these all inclusive resorts with all types of health concerns and do little to monitor their health while enjoying these places.

The Dominican Republic is one of the most affordable Caribbean destinations. That is why they get the largest tourist arrivals.

Now we can see more pool tricks! 😅 I love the DR 🇩🇴 it’s so beautiful and people there are very friendly. Water is much warmer too. If you do decide to go around Puerto Plata take the tram up Mount Isabel de Torres! You will see the statue of Jesus Christ and also the most beautiful aerial view of Puerto Plata and the beach! I believe it’s about $10-$20. So Eat, Drink and Be Merry my friend! All inclusive are thee best in the DR 🇩🇴
