I'm just ready for some new blood.... not including Saban but there's nothing I can do about it...I'm just excited to see how the first season is going to go
I know Kalen Deborer and Ryan Grubb. They recruited my son at U of Sioux Falls and he player for them for 2 years. They are the best people, ethical, and love the players and the players love them. Bama will be a nightmare to defend in the coming seasons. It will be very exciting to watch this offense again. It was the same one they ran at Sioux Falls and we were scoring 35-50 points per game. His final year they beat North Dakota a D1 team and could have beat just about any FCS team that year. GET READY FOR FIREWORKS !
I’m not concerned about players leaving. I would rather have good 3 and 4 star players that wanted to play for The University of Alabama. Class of ‘71 and Class of ‘75 Business Schools.
I like all the hires. Hopefully hes assembled abteam of coaches who are willing to stay and build a program. Alabama has always been successful when everyone buys in instead of the constant turnovers
There's no more loyalty in coaching as there is in these NIL Era players. Just the changing of the times. Schools should hire alums when possible. At least there is a modicum of loyalty there. UGA has a pretty good blueprint of that playing out now with multiple former players/FBS head coaches on staff. Go Dawgs
I'm looking forward to seeing his utilization of his personnel. I'm looking forward to seeing his blitzing and scheming packages. He's known for historically neutralizing opposing QBs
I agree. When Alabamas defense was its best they had at least one down defensive lineman that ate raw meat. One that was a drive killer and game changer. They haven't had one for several years.
It probably was offered with stipulations, otherwise he would've taken it. He's been working hard for a DC job for a minute and is deserving of one. I just feel bama didn't want him leaving because of his ability to recruit. They were going to give him the DC in name only and handcuff him.
Alabama is losing depth everywhere. They'll still have some great players, but not nearly as many....and they aren't getting too many assistant coaches who have recruited in the South! We'll see what happens!
With all due respect playing defense in the Sun Belt Conference is much easier than playing defense in the SEC. The good thing is DeBoer is working on Alabamas defensive😊 short comings.
I love how all the bammers are stoked to have the reunion of OC and DC from the 2019, 8 win, Indiana Hoosiers... wasn't that a basketball movie?!? Anyways, I digress. True bama fans will stick around and the fly-by-night fans will fade away. I get it. I'll be the same way when Kirby decides to hang it up or move on, but for bama fans to act excited about their all world head coach and their DC retiring is laughable. So much uncertainty. Saban can't coach those boys from an office. T-Rob stayed with UGA after being offered the DC job at bama... don't act like bama "Got their guy". Miss me with that $H1t
The reason Bama suck at NIL is because 90 percent of their fanbase are not Alabama graduates. Therefore, they are not donating money like Texas, Auburn, and UGA's donors which are mostly alumni
IDK what to expect, Kalen has only been coaching for two year at the power5 level, Saban has more titles then Kalen has coached at the top-level. It will not be smooth sailing, Dude hasnt barley recruited in Southeast, parity is coming finally.
Seems this coach thinks offense is going to win games. This is a terrible hire. He may fool me but damn.. Indiana wasn't great and South Alabama wasn't good. South Alabama is in the perfect place for recruiting. This buddy shit isn't good.

Birth of a new Bama

Word
A+ on our new coaches

@patrickgoodman7225 yea ur right, coach smart is evolving the process for sure over there. Georgia has become a national brand thanks to him!
Roll tide baby roll ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
He runs what he calls a "swarm Defense" down here at South.
ROLL TIDE 🐘 🏈 🐘 ❤
That will good for recruiting because its alot of kids come out of the south mobile with his ringing on the staff the will glad to come aboard
I live in Wisconsin can't wait until Sept. When Bama comes to Camp Randall Stadium. Roll Tide
Trust the new process
I'm looking forward to seeing his utilization of his personnel. I'm looking forward to seeing his blitzing and scheming packages. He's known for historically neutralizing opposing QBs
That didn't work against Michigan it won't work unless you got great players
I agree. When Alabamas defense was its best they had at least one down defensive lineman that ate raw meat. One that was a drive killer and game changer. They haven't had one for several years.
Didn't do him no good in the Michigan game there QB didn't have time to throw but wa. QB couldn't hardly walk after the game
I like this hire.
I’m here for the Alabama Hosiers
Roll tide
Yam, Marquise Robinson, Voison, Dallas Gamble ALL secondary guys from S. Bama in the portal, ALL of them have shown incredible development.
Bring'em in... you guys will need them when the existing guys start following T-Rob to Athens.
Voison & Banks are SEC caliber for sure!
Those who are saying a terrible hire have you’ll coach football before lol hush and be a fan like me 😂
I think all fighting against the new coaches are the young guys that have only had Saban at the helm of Alabama. Settle down it will work out well 💪
Great hire for DC!!! Downs would continue in developing with the new scheme he's going to flourish ! RTR!!
He was hell at Indiana... 8 wins one year. Awesome
Should help with recruiting in the South
South Alabama is in Mobile, he has a great relationship with all of the local high school coaches.
Offense will the best improvement overall look
Went and got the Kane Madness... 😂
Are we about to see a Bama that plays the same on offense and defense both playing at a high level
Hopefully Caleb Downs will stay put
If he do he do if he don’t f him
Do we have word yet on Downs?
Kane seems to be a good choice for Bama DC
Coaches are a small part,if you don't get the players...smh😮
They have to build there name in order to get the players
Give them a chance.
We need Karl Scott at db coach but I don’t see it happening
Fans need to realize Father Time catches everyone. Rules of the game are have gotten worse with recruiting. No fairness for the schools and coaches
So I’m very curious why Robinson did not take the DC position
It probably was offered with stipulations, otherwise he would've taken it. He's been working hard for a DC job for a minute and is deserving of one. I just feel bama didn't want him leaving because of his ability to recruit. They were going to give him the DC in name only and handcuff him.

But the players he was using are on the same level he was going against. His x and o will still translate to the sec fam
@@shaneomack5018 maybe. Speed and strength will differ.
What about Mel Tucker as a defensive coordinator
Be good to bring as co defense coordinator last I heard he was coaching somewhere as of today idk where he is.
As a Nole , good luck with all those Yankees in the program and changing the Alabama culture. Roll tribe .
South Dakota is a yankee state? You sure about that fam
Only Bama can get a coach to drop the South 👀 🙄 🤔 🤣

Indiana can beat Auburn so that'll be good.

What a terrible hire. 7-6 team that gave up 28+ 6 times. 52 points on the last. Yikes.
Sounds like the Bama Defenses from 2018-2022 under the inept DC Pete Golding.
I agree
I agree
@@Greg-il3lqI agree
Alabama and south Alabama had near the same defense stats this year but one of these teams had better players
No fan of new process. Saban will not be involved.

Weird since Indiana and south Alabama had top 15 defense while he was there. So do like 115 teams all have bad defenses 🤔
I’m so glad they didn’t hire you!!
In time the Tide will Roll
