I was looking for the Rock Fellers, a doo wop group when I found this group. That’s Jack Soo of Flower Drum Song and Barney Miller Fame, introducing them. Nice find
they aint american, they are just filipinos its just during the time of American colonization and western influences at the time not to mention English was mostly used alot more back then which us Filipinos are lacking now.
They later worked as entertainers in Hawaii until a few years ago. Now they are living on the mainland, the one on the left in S. California and the other one in Las Vegas.
Like many child acts in the entertainment industry, sometimes their youth is half the charm for an audience. It illustrates how difficult it can be for any artist to follow some success with more of same. Lastly, consider that the entertainment business is a wearisome lifestyle, and by the time the boys approached college age, some or all of them thought a higher education sounded like a splendid change of pace.
So talented
I love the littliest one doing Little Richard's "Duck back in the alley" stance!

Great!!! Why is that this group did not exel later on?
They had a #16 hit the next year called "Killer Joe." Great song!

* Is that bass player their dad? He looks older. 😂
Yes, he's their dad.
Ummmm why is the audience laughing?
Because they are cute kids, but I hope the kids weren't hurt by it.
Kinda sad how they kept using the laugh track.
