i ve wanted one of these for years but every time i get in the car i realize the vent is in a horrible position, the display would be blocked by the steering wheel. i dont even use that vent for a/c now cuz the steering wheel blocks the air flow. if they made a version of this where the display is pop up style like a pop up stereo head unit, itd be awesome theres so much dead space on the dash above the vent

I actually think it's in a good location for an OEM+ look

@@jg_media9 yeah it is but while youre actually driving, the (intended)at a glance view is very obstructed by the wheel. its cool if youre in your driveway or a stop light and can lean your head to view the full number.
they should make another model that utilizes the vertical half of the center driver vent (like the one they make for the E9x)or another option to utilize the whole bottom half of the center vent . that way you can get at least 2 readings on one line and they should make it with an OLED Full Color Display like AWRON so you can have a real screen, they should basically make a "half" version of the awron and make it half the price of the awron(500$ since youre potentially spending 400$ for p3) if they could make an awron type that doesnt take up a whole vent.... game over for the bmw gauge game

Great videos man, I just grabbed a tuned m235i stage 2 but I wanna make sure I’m not running too lean at high boost. Can you adjust afr on the gauge like the gfb? I’m unsure of which one to get.

Thanks for watching 👊 you can monitor afr with the p3 gauge

If you had to do this again, would you get the one with the vent already on? I have the vent version and this version on my cart ready to purchase but can’t decide if the vent-less version will give me a headache to install

I mean it's definitely easier to get the vent version but if you wanted to save some money and just assemble the gauge on your own it just takes some patience! I would probably just assemble it myself if I were to buy it again

Nice looking kit bro,but what stopped me purchasing it,is the fact you need a degree before you can get cracking, too long for me,Amron is easier just looking at it,I know where I'm at,love the stealth of the p3 though, can't argue with that, but spending however long to figure out this thing,is to long for me,could be my age but well done you bro, still loving your ride man....

Hey, thanks man and thanks for watching!! Amron? never heard of it

@@jg_media9 he meant the Awron gauge. That one takes up an entire center A/C vent though. No way. 👎

@@stephenlozano2816 ohhhh ok yeah they're really nice i can't lie! Idk how i feel about it taking up the entire vent though and i like the price of P3 better 😂
