So grateful to have been alive at the same time as Thay. I will always consider him one of my greatest teachers even though I never met him. It's thanks to the ASMR community, TH-cam and Plum Village's online presence that I was fortunate enough to find him and learn from him. I bought his book "Anger: Cooling the Flames" as well and man, what a great book. Simple, concise, poignant, powerful. Well-worth your time to read it if you like what he said in this video. I highly recommend it and I will definitely read some of his other books. He really did know his stuff. May you rest in peace with the Oneness, great teacher. We will miss you, and I will do my best to take your lessons with me wherever I go. You've already helped me so much.

Thank you so much dear Thay for your enlightening words. Much thanks to the wonderful person who brought up this question to Thay, too. Because of your great compassion and wisdom I am slowly healing my heart and learning to smile again, in the presence of those who caused my pain and being kind to them as well 🙏🏽 may we all grow in the Buddha’s path and reach liberation.

Those young boys were blessed to hear these words of truth at such an early stage in their lives.

I think all presidents and politicians should listen to this man. Perhaps then wars would stay in the past history.

The Bible also says "be angry, and sin not." It is okay to be angry, just don't act on that anger.

Exactly! Humans have emotions but we are charged with properly handling them. I’ll be learning and practicing until the day I die! Or develop dementia 🤣🤣🤷🏼‍♀️

In my experience there is hearing, comprehending, anger, fury, my right palm burns and my arm tenses to hit. I remember that nuns don't hit and neither do Bodhisattva's and Jesus would not be too pleased either. I relax while looking "daggers", inform the person that they are very lucky that I meditate. and inform them that we will continue the conversation later, and leave the room very quickly before I tear them to pieces with my bare teeth and claws! LOL!

When you squeeze an orange what comes out is sweet nectar because that’s what’s inside. When a human is squeezed what comes out is what’s inside.
Ha. People list their ability to see a thing. Not my late Grandparents.. not yours either!
