      I have 4 sons and a daughter, and I can't even imagine going thru what his dad did. I've been SA'd myself, so I understand and feel that, but from a parental side, I'd probably lose my mind on the offender and feel so so bad for my baby knowing there's nothing I could do to make the memory/hurt go away. Studios that have child/teen actors really do need to be cracked down on to make sure they aren't being neglected or abused. Like seriously NONE of those people who had an offender record should have ever been working around kids to begin with, it's shocking that they just weren't doing background checks on the adults to begin with when they had kids working on set. All of this has been a huge problem for FAR too long, reform is long overdue.

    Every bit of this is sick but the one that’s REALLY sticking with me is Ariana saying “Can a teenage girl drink water upside down?!” Like they wrote her to say “teenage girl” instead of “Can you drink-“. They REALLY wanted to make it known she was playing a teenage girl for more than likely the creeps that those were written for.

    I find it very disturbing that even though it's mentioned, the fact Disney hired Peck after his release is glossed over. People are only talking about Nickelodeon but what about Disney? There's no way they didn't know of his charges, especially with the fact he was working with children. IF by some chance Disney didn't know, then the courts need to be looked at; how does a convinced child SA predator get to work with kids again? That whole part is just glossed over; I'd like to see a bigger investigation into that.

    • @Sleepy.Siblings
      @Sleepy.Siblings 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Honestly this is disgusting and disappointing, I'm pretty sure the only reason they hired him is because of his money. After bribing Disney a bit they probably gave which is f___ed up, and I'm pretty sure this ain't the last time we're gonna hear from him.

I hope they are getting their share of heat for defending a predator that idolized Gacy. Just disturbing

    Quiet on set needs it ESPECIALLY after Dan Schneider is attempting to sue them for defamation.
    We need to hear more survivors stories,
    We need to hear about even more events of how messed up Dan Schneider really is.
    Possibly even more stuff the internet never found that only the survivors know.
    Of course, they should only speak up if comfortable with it.

      👍 I have mixed feelings because although I think what he did was very wrong and harmful, that he undermined both victims and the judicial process, and I have a low opinion of him; I am not entirely sure if being ignorant, unempathetic or having a poor judge of character are good enough reasons for someone to someone to lose their career, assuming they are good at their job. I just feel like that attitude does not allow room for growth, but does he deserve to be forgiven? Maybe not, as there are plenty of decent people who are just as talented and deserve success. I think it will be for the public to decide if they think he is worth keeping around.

I could probably count on one hand the number of times I was able to say what my own 🍇ist did to me specifically out loud because I'm just so utterly disgusted and repulsed by it. It was heartbreaking, but it also felt somewhat validating, knowing I'm not the only survivor who struggles to put his disgusting actions into words.
