Saaru is not the right word for sambar. In kannada it is called huli. Saaru means Rasam. Please correct.

@@navyaprashanth9743 in Tamilnadu our saaru is called as rasam. For saaru we use saarina pudi whereas For sambar we use sambar powder which is different in preparation. Of course Tamilnadu rasam is slightly different from our saaru. We use togari bele in saaru but in Tamilnadu they don't.
