good question, dreamcast and n64 is interesting of course, but i also wish it had pico8 out of he box

i have the anbernic R35XX and i got the R36S and i can say is absolutely fantastic, it has a lot of ''inprovements'' i was waiting on the anbernic one but don't get me wrong, R35XX is still awesome (except for the d pad that is horrible). we are having a lot of clone consoles super fast, different models, but in the good side we have consoles for different pockets and budgets, the most important is to enjoy your favorite games. thanks for this review.
The R36S is just an improvement in every possibly way, I just wish they would have fixed those shoulders buttons on the back!
After many many hours of use, my R36S's screen cover is starting to come loose and squeaky. Not sure if it's just my unit, because I never had that issue with the R35S.
I hate how much I like clear purple shells.

I got the R35S a good month before the 36. I thought about upgrading, but it was just for the purple clear plastic.

I own a R35S but have to agree on the R36 being more ergonomic, especially since not a whole lot of games support the twin sticks. So far the only game I play with the 2 sticks is the original Doom. If anyone has suggestions for 1st person shooters that are playable with both sticks I wouldn't mind hearing some. As always nice video, thank you!

They are the same console, Data Frog decided the change of placement of the analog sticks, d-pad and buttons because powkiddy was angry ( the r35s is a copy of the rgb20 ), the r36s is a bit better for handling but if you have the r35s it is all ok, same firmware apply for both.
This was the video I needed to see today! Trying to decide which one along with some other budget handhelds. Miyoo etc. But button placement has settled it. Thanks wicked have a good weekend!

Nice devices, although I prefer the layout of the buttons and dpad on the sides. Just like in GBA or PSP.

I put amberelec r35s firmware on the r36s and it works great runs everything. form factor is great. i love the simplicity of the miyoo mini + with onion os but ergonomics is better on the r36s

I have a R36s and realy like it
Taki from China cover this models. This is a some complicated inner China story. Don`t understand well. Same factory produce both of this console. But they don`t produce mainboard, but buy it. And company which produce mainboard sell them a same model of Powkiddy RGB20. Powkiddy complain to the factory and they change design and we have R36S model. Something like this, complicate story 😊

@WickedGamerCollector yea am in the market for one with about £80 budget but I want the best I can get what connects to TV at the mo I think its the anbernic rg35xx when I factor in loaded sd and shipping but the r36s is a better deal if our theory works

i wish there was more portable system gameplay, i swear every r36s video shows bloody roar and n64 games and how the n64 emulator isnt the best
i want to see B/W gameboy, gameboy color, gba , lynx, game gear...can we get some of those games. If i want to play console games ill play them on the big screen/emulation not in a 3 inch device

@@jonatan_1991can you read English properly? he said " making" not keep selling them ... big difference between people keep selling them to make profit from uninformed consumers , and they keep making them ( actually building and assembling the devices on a factory)
