Is that really the idea behind it? I would think standard multicam or any other woodland-ish pattern would be best, because the colors you commonly find in urban environments are greens and browns.

@@ElTubeo1515 It's more effective in serious metropolitan areas. I would emplore M81/multicam for more rural areas, but it really depends on mission, location, department, and budget.
Grey or Ranger Green (wich is a mix of green and... Grey) are solid options for urban environment. One of the best pick IMO is Shadow Grey (from Direct Action and Helikon Tex). I find wolf grey à little too light/bright.
But I have to say, I like this one!

I think the point is local militia, in case of emergency. I mean my dd as a volunteer firefighter kept his pager and gear in the back of his truck. The belly pouch can be armored as well as the cummerbund in order to catch both bullets and fragments, but the current setup here is more for either police or very close urban fighting where flexibility is more important than covering every part of the body with armor

One thing wrong. You can't go into battle with long hair. I served where U.S marines stationed I got know their protocol quite well. The grooming standard is always kept no exceptions reasons being your hair can catch on fire or can be used whilst engaged in hand to hand combat. The enemy gets a hold of those golden locks you'll be headed home in a bag...
Only if you are SOF or SEAL & D boys doing undercover missions may need longer hair for disguised 😮😅. CIA too!!

@@tuchesuavae Yes. Your hair can catch on fire from explosions also can be grabbed by enemy in close combat. There are exceptions to this rule if a soldier was conducting operations where one has to fit in to the local standard eg beards when in Islamic countries. I was not that sort of soldier.

My vest has a 6 rifle mag pouch and 3 pistol mag pouch. my duty belt has 3 pistol mags. Radio on my belt. med kit on my belt. extra pouch on my belt for chem lights and extra flash light.
