@@Depressed_Spider Considering New London needs some Steel and Steam Cores to save it by building new infirmaries, it would be kind of funny if New London and the outpost hadn't severed ties with each other earlier, the outpost MIGHT have been able to save New London earlier by delivering steel and steam cores so New London could build those infirmaries, heal the sick and maybe get back to work mining coal and fixing the generator. The biggest unfixable issue they had was the food shortage caused by failed crops, which couldn't be fixed without the help of Hot Springs. I imagine the food shortage was even worse because the Great Storm probably killed 99% of the remaining non-human frostland creatures (in one of the exploration events, your scout finds a dead family of polar bears in a cave who couldnt survive the great storm) so there was nothing to hunt and the only fresh food available could be grown in the hothouses.

@@dr.nikolasivory8193 The other settlements were at level IV while the Children's Mine was still at I. All's well that ends well, I s'pose. Poor Frank got turned into fertilizer by those Hot Springs hippies, though. ='[.]'=
@@Raycheetah Consider that as a gambit. His body was a small sacrifice for the greater good. Sometimes they have to be made to achieve something much more complex. It might seem immoral, but this is how it works. And fertilizer is that actually we are all are going to be at the end - the circle of life.
But at the same time The Mine was finished second - shipwreck ended up at the end of the queue.
We have to protect those kids is god given right to work
@@Raycheetah Mate, the Earth must be fed. It feeds us all, and I'd argue the entire apocalypse is because we starved it by overtaking and never giving back, so it grew ravenous and decided to glut itself like a starver at a buffet. Better a morsel here and there than a snowpolcaypse or worse, the Sand Pest.
Idk how many times did you practiced. But man this is amazing
This exact scenario I've recorded from the third try
intresting how fast you can do stuff i need like 10x more time to finish this in a hellish state on difficulty hard
Hey everyone reading this, I know what scenario they need to add to Frostpunk 1: a scenario about Tesla City. This is because it is a scenario in the board game version.
There is a borar d game???
Also gime tech and tesla weapons
@@icaropassosmissel7435 Yes, there is a board game of Frostpunk. Here is a video on how to play it: th-cam.com/video/nrgnB7h_CGo/w-d-xo.html
@@icaropassosmissel7435 Yes, in fact, there are videos on people playing it.
Just in case anybody struggles with people getting gravely ill and dying JUST before infirmary is built/researched on day 5:
Ask new london to enact a law for you via the administration center. The gravely ill will go to the medical post, but will move over to the infirmary once done (the gravely ill will not have time to get amputated).
I tried to follow your strategy to the minute detail, but always ended up with gravely ill when you seemed ok? Only issue now is that I have to wait a bit longer for the favour to go up again, so that I can ask for more raw food (nobody died, but people were starving for a while).
Thank you for the guide!
You can tank the gravely ill by feeding them and keep them heated or in the posts with the law, untill you ge t infirmary though its a priority also they take has long has a normal person on a post to he al
Super playthrough, the only ask for author is to enable cursor while playing becouse it makes track of steps easier to follow :)
I know it's super late but I've picked up Frostpunk recently to git gud before the second game is out, and I got questions. Probably the biggest one is how you were able to run a 24-hour shift in a workshop as there's a script to kill off an engineer as soon as you do it?
Nice video. Just a question, why do you take out employee from all places serve night and put them back in the morning?
To sort out all the sick people. When you place unemployed people to a station the healthy ones are assigned first. Thus I can prioritize which post will be fully staffed and which will have missing workers due to sickness.
@@dr.nikolasivory8193 Got it. thanks a lot
hello nikolas! just wanted to remember that frostpunk 2 beta is avaliable. I really want to see how your city is going to be in the new game, now that the objective isnt exactly survive, but prosper. Quick tip: save before exploring the three lakes on the white desert (frostpunk 2)
Thank you for the tip - will definitely use it when I get to that place :D
Someday we'll get there, I'm sure
@@dr.nikolasivory8193 the city must not fall
@@wesley_1234 Keep me informed
have you any furthur plans on Frostpunk, or are you to waiting till Frostpunk 2 is coming out?.
Both. Just don't have time to make videos at the moment, so all the work has been ceased
@@dr.nikolasivory8193 places you on 24 hour emergency shift
I wonder why are you always dismantling and pausing the cookhouse :D
Will you cover Frostpunk 2 as well?
Please do a video about Refugges and Arks. I will really appreciate it because Im tring to do all achiegments but without your help it is imposible
I managed to do arks once without anyone dying i was just dissatisfied nothing on the end, i think noone died, i only can't do on the edge and the endless maps
Ah some scenarios 1 ir 2 i didn't do now that i think about it but on the edge and endurance is hardest i think
Have you thought about adding commentary to your videos? Would be great to hear your process.
I have. But I am not much of a talker to be honest, so decided not to
Thoughts about Frostpunk 2???
Well... It should be released at some point I guess)
I'm not a hyping person and prefer to study things after they come out. Like to be surprised.
Could u please explain the time lines, between scenarios? 😁
I'm afraid that would take at least a ten minute video :D
@@dr.nikolasivory8193 We're literally watching non-commentary videos for about 2-4 hours.
*_I think we can survive a 10-minute video with ease!_*
Basically the last autumn is first in the timeline and then the fall of winter home for I'm the new home campeign winter home is destroyed now although the next three will be a bit iffy but I group the refugees the arks and new home to be happening at the same time at different places now there is no evidence of this but then again there is no evidence of it not and the edge scenario for it being after the great storm of new home
When do you think you might be able to make more videos
Zero idea. As soon as my life will become less chaotic and stressful. For now I just don't have enough inspiration and self-discipline to create. Sinking in more basic survival issues.
@@dr.nikolasivory8193 okay have a great day
@@dr.nikolasivory8193fair enough man, we all appreciate your content! Of course put your life first, if you can’t make any more videos so be it as long as you are doing well in your life.
Could you make video of Crags in Endurance mode and Extreme with no deaths?
Some day... Eventually...
idk how did you get these 30 steel at the end of 1st day. I tried like 6 times already and still getting stuck at 29...
I re-played it more than twenty times, sooo - it just needs some more perseverance)
Are you going to be making frostpunk 2 vids?
I'd love to, but can't promise anything.
Please do other scenarios!
Hm, what does 1916 means?
Or we will play as united territories of new London in frostpunk 2?
Funny enough that I rewatched this video, and still can't get what 1916 mean.
Probably on the next year I will know, when frostpunk 2 releases
Ze oil camrade
Waiting for Frostpunk2 speed run anytime soon. 😂
Can you make a tutorial of how to manage the city i mean with buildings and streets and thank yoh for good content
How are Steam Cores even made?
They always say they are impossible to make...
When will they be manufacturable?
Probably you need some specific metal only new london has the schemes for?
A bit hard to ficus on making them when you are "dying"
18:45 what was that tic tac toe? i thought that was just taking out the sick, but i see you are doing more than just that.
Awesome video! But how do you stop the town from eating raw food?
Hey Doc - are you still alive? I was wondering 😅
Yeah, I am alive. Struggling a little, but alive)
Does anyone know how those engineers didn't die in the beginning on that 24 hour shift? I really need to know lol
They never die on the first 24 hour shift. It's "free"
@@dr.nikolasivory8193mayby if you take them out in the end of the research, but i had them die on the first one most times , unless it s specific t o on t he ed g e

Great stuff
By the way, most of the people are freezing in Frostpunkt, due to placing themselves in cold sinks
