The term might not be blacklisted, but it was very close; he (and Junsu and Yoochun (JYJ) weren't allowed to appear on any television programs or perform their music on any shows due to the lawsuit with SM Entertainment. Lee Soo Man recently left SM Entertainment and this now why Jaejoong is finally starting to appear on more mainstream Korean media. He was very well known in the industry still as TVXQ and as his own solo career and JYJ so he still gathered a lot of fans.

Both Belle and Julie were on this Hello82 episode a couple months ago where they interacted with Rima and Nina from NiziU, JYP's Japanese girl group. They spoke in English(all of them are fluent) and it was really cute. I hope you'll get to react to it one day.
