벨님이랑 같은 아파트 같은 초등학교 나온 후배입니다! 이미 저희 아파트 단지에서는 심신 분 따님이시라고 유명하셨는데ㅎㅎ 같은 엘리베이터 타서 저희 가족이 저희끼리 아버지 알아보면 아버님이랑 같이 웃어주시고 인사도 해주시고 진짜 친절하셨어요. 초등학교 때 전교 회장이섰던 걸로 기억하는데 진짜 진짜 눈에 띄게 예쁘셨어요. 그런데 이렇게 데뷔하셔서 좋은 노래로 좋은 팀으로 활동하시는거 보니 너무 신기하고 기쁘네요! 앞으로도 쭉 응원할게요 벨, 키스오브라이프 화이팅!!

I know everyone is talking about her Beyoncé cover, but I personally prefer her Lyn cover too! So gorgeous and sincere, it’s hard to believe she’s only 19 😮💨 And I also really love her duet with Lee Mujin, and how she’s not afraid to look at him while singing. Some of the idols that he’s sung with seems allergic to eye contact lmao 😭 but here she keeps looking over at him while still being aware of her own camera, and it just makes the performance more emotionally intimate and engaging. It hasn’t even been a year since she’s debuted, but she seems as if she’s had years of experience!

I'm not an avid listener of Kiss of Life. I only stumble upon their music here and there while scrolling through TH-cam. But I watch this whole episode and I wanna say a few things.
First of all, I'm only a casual music enjoyer with no proper vocal knowledge, but even I can somehow sense that Belle has this sort of sophisticated vocal technique.
Whenever I saw contents on YT about "Kpop vocal ranking" or "Kpop best vocalists", it was mostly always about who can hit the highest notes, or who has "support" (something I've a heard a lot but still had no idea about lol). Meanwhile, obviously in this episode, Belle didn't throw about those high and higher notes, yet my untrained ears can still sense how good her singing is.
Her vocal just sounds... wholesome (?). It's as if she has plenty and various weaponries in her vocal arsenal and she knows how to utilize them well. Those moments when she sang while looking straight into the camera, I got an impression that she had this "yea-I-know-I'm-good" attitude inside her, and her confident singing totally serves.
I don't know if it makes sense, but that's how I feel. Please enlighten me more if you have an expert vocal knowledge.
Secondly, I'm also aware people have been saying things about KoL being the monster rookie with their talent. Again, even as a non-fan, you can not deny that opinion if you have watched this whole episode. Her talent seems so refined surpassing that of a rookie level. As Mujin said, I also got more and more curious of Kiss of Life now. I'm definitely gonna look into them more from now on!
and the fact that she's a good songwriter too! I expect a full solo album that is all about feeling and beautiful vocal.
Yes! I am not officially trained but very interested in vocal training so I can say that she has a strong control of vocal muscles so at some points her voice sounded like fading away even without moving on her mic; she could do many difficult vocal variety, including vibrato; and her head voice is as powerful as her chest voice (fully shown when she does the belting). That's why her singing sounds good for us, like many vocal varieties which sound rich and not hurting our ears when she hits high notes (not strained). Since she said her role model is also Ariana Grande and Ariana's first album 'Yours Truly' had so many varieties so I am expecting so much from her, expecting more various discographies KoF can produce 🎉

키스오브라이프는 이쁜 '척'만 하는 게 전부인 요즘 아이돌 판을 '아이돌은 춤 노래는 기본이야' 라는 걸 다시 한번 상기시켜주는 너무 귀한 그룹임.
언제부턴가 여돌들이 노래는 안하고 예쁜 표정, 끼부리기에만 치중되서 눈만 즐겁지 귀는 썩어갔는데.
아이돌도 가수고 결국 노래를 해야 하는 직업인데 노래를 못하거나 아예 하질 않거나.
양질의 음악을 듣고 싶은 청중들은 걸그룹들의 유치한 장난이나 봐주고 있어야 했고 어린 애들이나 호응했는데. 드디어.. 드디어 나왔다.

수려한 음색, 상당히 높은 음역, 탄탄한 발성과 호흡 이 삼박자 갖춘 상태로 시작한 스타는 꽤 있었는데 이 정도 테크닉까지 겸비한 아이돌이 있었나? 상위 카테고리인 '가수'로 쳐도 이 나이에 이렇게 파격적인 실력이 있었나? 미성년자 나이에 이미 완성형으로 데뷔한 괴물 박효신 정도가 생각났음. 당장의 아이돌 행보도 응원하지만 이후 솔로 디바로서의 모습이 더 기대됨

even tho the host said that her saying "cpr" felt like she was trying to say that kiof is here to save the dying kpop...well... i know she did not mean that but, tbh they actually are saving the true kpop..cuz most of the songs being released nowadays are having more english lyrics or no korean lyrics at all...but kiss of life songs feel like they have balanced both western and korean aspects so well...i really recommend newcomers to listen to all of their solos
Let's be real, even if shes tryna be humble and not drag, kiof indeed are breath of fresh air in kpop. In a sea of vocally challenged, trend chasing, full of minors new kpop groups, they came out fresh and mature with prominent messages and impeccable skills with their musics.
