Think the saltiest I ever heard you was in an invasion that took around 15 minutes where the host kept backing up to the fog wall and you said you'd beat him up if you ever met him since there's no fog wall in real life.

Killed a hosts gank and he ran in the carthus fog;
He didn't know we could attack through it, and he didn't know a player model could block it.
Was satisfying hearing his screams on the other side as 2 consecutive fully charged R2 thrusts gave him new scream holes.
I've never been so stressed watching him take on a gank squad.
But good shit man.
Salty Chase is such a rare sight... But a sight to behold, nonetheless. Impressive how you didn't tilt and did stupid shit and died. You're incredible, no joke!
He was using a build he's not comfortable with, he was up against three people at once, they were all very defensive so he didn't have any openings, they were stream sniping and were ready with their overleveled characters determined to beat him with all weapons and useables they had... and then Chase killed them... Let that sink in for a while

@@are3287 I don't think so. They were smart enough to provide few openings and they knew if one of them could maybe roll catch him even accidentally it would do good damage. By themselves I'm sure they're trash but they know how to gank
@@arnaeus7448 The knight starter build has pretty good armor and longsword is a pretty good weapon, so perhaps. A greatsword class weapon would be more optimal for a gank situation though.
To be fair minus the stream sniping this is an average day for an invader. Most groups of three will always be on your butt till you kill one, then they turtle.

In a sort of funny way you are fully correct,in a combat situation involving stakes "The hosts insignificant pertinence of pride" ,your average individual would take any and all measures to ensure victory.Of course unless the person in question has a specific mindset that contradicts the standard way of thinking.
PS:The basic starter Knight set is actually not that bad of a equipment loadout,and is in my opinion one of the most maluable for any confrontation.
I am so with you. The cowards that play this game is pathetic. The fact that they won’t take chase on when there is a single undead zombie, that takes one hit, next to him..... is pathetic.

welcome to games in general not dying by anymeans player to go forward not die and restart strict pvpers need to learn you are using a pvp build chase always runs the dagger backup which isnt used almost ever in regular gameplay so players not built for only pvp are going to do what they need to too survive. dont call them pussies and shit when you have to run a 1 hit weapon for just in case moments

its crazy to go back to ds3 and see people actually attacking. i miss the days of these kinds of footsies. now its just gank spam op art of war and spells.
did you know that in elden ring, you get an insane low ground advantage? if your fighting on a hill, especially if you have a thrusting weapon, be on the low ground, your opponents range will be significantly reduced and also tons of their hits will just randomly whiff cause of horrible hitboxes. if your thrusting down an incline with spear, your hitbox is reduced to basically hugging range. i really really didnt expect to feel this way, but every time i play elden ring, i miss the functioning hitboxes in dark souls :(

I cant imagine intentionally gathering two of your friends to gank like this. It's not even funny - the fact that they were probably trying to strategize this the entire time.
It's not funny for the invader, but I bet it's hilarious for the people doing it. Some people get fun from trolling, and this is just one of the many ways to do it in this game. The only problem for them is shady strats plus 3v1 you've got to win it, or you look really, really bad. Recorded, for the world to see.

If From had thrown in some sorta item or ring to enable friendly fire between hosts and phantoms, can you imagine how fast parties like this would evaporate?
Because, ya know, youd need to actually be good to not kill eachother.
Why would that ever be an item? It should just be a thing. I don't think phantoms and the host should be able to outright hurt eachother since that'd just lead to nobody wanting to co-op. It should've been like Monster Hunter in that you stagger eachother and take hardly any damage. That way you can't have five sources of damage hitting you at once. I'm actually mad that this isn't a thing in Dark Souls III.

well going against 2 over leveled phantoms with a standard knight set is pretty frustrating by itself
not when he is using a twink build man he has a one hit dagger for the level of matches he is in no one at the soul level he is invading in has over 1k hp and his dagger hits almost 1k
@@cloudstrifeff7xx over leveled. They don't have to be in his level where he invades. Same with the Havel monsters. The phantoms can be higher but not the host
@@cloudstrifeff7xx Hosts and their phatoms can have 1 hit crits too you know. Twinking is kind of necessary against the hardcore gank squads. Given that the Gank squad he faced was blatantly overleveled see the blue scroll next to their names that tells you they are beyond the normal summon range. While their damage is lowered to compensate they will have superior hp Stamina FP spellsots and so forth.
Look on the bright side, they didn't resummon, and only had one seed

I beat a 2 v 1 by the Aldrich Covenant bonfire earlier, been trying out a faith build using a raw dragon slayer's axe and yorksha's chime. It's pretty fun

I’m not as good as you chase so when I come to invade a 3v1 I know I got no chance so I just run them through the level. I’m not stupid enough to think I could win a 3v1 so yeah I have to find my fun in running the level trying to pick them off when the pve disrupts them.
What make it truly satisfying is when they kill me and point down so much joy I get from that knowing they are salty enough to point down a guy who wouldn’t fight a 1v3. They must think winning a 1v3 is easy and everyone can do it.
Makes me wonder why does Chase even goes salty anyway. I was watching his videos for a while, and there are tons of times it's even worse, with full host+phantoms party and 2 blues to add to this. And he was defeating them (most of time). This one is no exception really.
+KG Guitar Because these guys were intentionally trying to gank Chase by stream sniping and having him invade their world so they could purposely attack him altogether. It's one thing for a host to be caught off guard by Chase and eventually summon a shitload of people to help, and it's another for a host to STREAM SNIPE Chase and clear out the area to try and gank and kill him as easily as possible. That was an organized gank, and a stream sniping gank at that, which is why it's more frustrating than a host who's just desperately summoning random phantoms over and over during his natural playthrough

ChaseTheSalt :3 I wish I could be this good someday... For now I'm taking a challenge of doing fatroll invasions on meta SL. It's satisfying to woop asses while not being able to dodge normally :P And I also threw out perservence from the pool for extra masochism points.

I hate people that do this. Summon 2 people, not 3, so they dont get invaded by 2 people and then seeds and ganka you the whole time and wont chase you to pve while using weapons like gank blades and gunyr. Idk how people can have fun doing that over and over again

I am honestly surprised that Dark Souls 3 off all of the titles in the series would keep a playerbase for this long,then again i am one of the rare few that actually enjoys Dark Souls 2.

I felt the satisfaction myself this time. I can't relate to being stream sniped, but I've had my fair share of pathetic hosts (and invaders to be fair), and absolutely nothing beats that sweet moment you kill them all and make all their time wasted, and all their efforts and pathetic attempts futile. And that moment, in the middle of the despair, where you finally kill one of them... and then the fire of a thousand dragons lights back up inside you and you just wanna END some nerds, and you fucking go into full berserk mode wanting to murder the everliving shit out of them.
