God I miss the Dome so much. US Bank may be cleaner but it isn't the same. Kid me loved that early Christmas gift of seeing the Monster Jam show, with a big ol fountain pop, a dome dog for dinner and the yearbook for when I'd get home.
One big one you (understandably) missed was Kreg Christiansen's wreck in Max-D from the Untelevised January 2012 show. A few other notable crashes at that show were Alex Blackwell in Wolverine totaling the truck, Kreg ramming into Becky's ETL and slamming both trucks into the wall, resulting in neither truck being able to freestyle due to Kreg splitting his housing, and Darren Migues in Bounty Hunter exploding one of his tires hitting a double stack and then rolling the truck. He won freestyle with that run. I was also surprised to see so few racing crashes, cuz we had a LOT of those. Chad Fortune ate the wall in Nitro Machine at the December 1999 show, Linsey Weenk in Crusader tumbled the truck at the December 2013 show and rolled it into Firestorm and Captain America taking the corner too hot. Brutus dumped over into the wall during racing at one of the 2012 shows (I think it was December) which was why the truck didn't have a body in the clip you had of his freestyle crash. He hit the wall so hard it shook the building, I was genuinely surprised they let him go back out. There's a BUNCH more really good ones I saw growing up, but most of them either don't have easy to access footage or haven't been posted. Good compilation overall!
I can't do the 2012 show cause there's literally no footage I can find of any crashes other than grave digger. also dang this the longest half complaint half compliment comment ive ever read/gotten!
He bent the front end housing when he jumped them buses I remember watching it on speed tv after school that was insane love grave digger Dennis was insane him and Tom
Basically after the Minnesota Twins got their own stadium, the Vikings threatened to leave Minnesota unless the state legislature here paid for them to get a fancy new stadium too. Which is what led to the dome getting torn down only a year after a multi-million dollar renovation that was funded by taxpayers.
@@TransDrummer1312 yeah sometimes I just hate it when teams do that! they are always so greedy for new stadiums! sam Boyd was awesome but the team there wanted a new one even though the stadium was huge! Not to mention the history in some of the buildings! for example the Pontiac Silverdome, it was a huge facility and the team there along with other teams wanted a new stadium, and the state shut it down, let it rot, and then tore it down twice! Some teams just have to accept their stadiums sometimes! sure there's moments where the stadium switch made sense but in my opinion they get what they get and have to accept it!
Ah, I remember watching the last and final event at the Metrodome on Fox Sports 1 back in my days... This was the end of the Advance Auto Parts-Era and an opening to the Fox Sports 1-Era... Question: What is your favorite and least favorite Monster Jam era 1999-2002: The TNN Era 2003-2009: The Speed Era 2010-2013: The Advance Auto Parts-Era 2014-2018: The Fox Sports 1-Era 2019-Present: The Modern Era. My personal favorites are the Speed Era, The AAP-Era and The FS1-Era. My least favorite is the modern era due to how watered down it is today...
Crashes I skipped: Crashes from the December 2000 show Some crashes from the second 2006 show Destroyer and a Grave Digger's crashes from the second 2004 show
These trucks and tracks look epic in the early 2000's

This may be the greatest location for Monster Jam *period*

@ it's a shame there's nothing out there of that 2012 show because while most of it was a snooze fest the few big moments of it were really cool
I know there’s a couple missing, but Chad Tingler’s crash in ‘06 wasn’t here. Nice video!

So monster jam stopped competing in the Metrodome after 2013?
yes, they had to because it was being demolished in 2014 to make way for the US Bank Stadium which would host monster jam for the first time in 2016.

My most favorite era is 2003-2009
And my least favorite is 2019-present.
The Speed and AAP eras are definitely my favourites. I agree that the Modern era is the worst as well.
almost,
missing december 2000 prowler, avenger and wrenchead
And digger, and predator, and bulldozer, all from the same show.
Do you prefer the Metrodome or US bank stadium
Metrodome 100%

Some crashes from the second 2006 show
Destroyer and a Grave Digger's crashes from the second 2004 show
Destroyer's crash has no footage, though I have photos from it. And as far as I know I'm the only one with footage of Grave Digger's rollover.
