Thank you for preserving this. I lost my copy and tried to buy online but everyone has a be an asshole and sell it for an outrageous $250. Thanks you so much. The dvd copy had sentimental value as I was 11 when I went to monster jam with my stepdad who is no longer alive. In 2012 I bought that copy. Sorry for the long story. But this means a lot.
31:38 absolutely breaks my heart. This is what monster jam could still be. Fans literally standing on their feet jumping up and down screaming in excitement.
Its because back then the obstacles were much bigger than the trucks themselves and also with all the cars and more importantly the bus step ups and stuff is what made the shows as big as they were with them tearing everything up until the final truck coming out
Things that Monster Jam needs to bring back or stop: 1. Scott Douglas 2. Bonus Time + Regulation Time 3. Advanced Auto Parts Sponsorship 4. Some of the old trucks (grinder, captain's curse, grave digger the legend, og monster mutt fleet) 5. Air Force Sponsorship 6. Professional Judging (along side fan judging) 7. No RII limits (til it gets dangerous for the fans) 8. CRUSH CARS AND CAMPERS 9. D. V. Dsss 10. Vegas World Finals 11. Trucks and drivers using whatever equipment necessary (such as gd custom engines) 12. Max-D, Mohawk Warrior 13. Chicago Style Racing 14. They just need to bring back the excitement that the sport used to have
Grinder and Air Force are sponsor trucks, meaning the sponsor pays FELD to run them. If they don't want to pay, the trucks go. Captain's Curse and the original mutt bodies were retired because they ran specialized chassis with rollcages that required custom fabrication that increased time to repair them and costs for training crew members, not to mention being less predictable with failures in crashes. Scott Douglass retired from commentary, he doesn't want to come back. He did it for almost 40 years. Vegas world finals isn't happening because of UNLV moving out of Sam Boyd Stadium. It's over. It's done. They're not going back. They legally can't, as UNLV's contract with the Raiders requires them to not host events at Sam Boyd of *any kind* if they want to use the facilities at the new Raiders stadium in downtown Vegas. Max-D is gone because Tom's gone. It's not Max-D without Tom Meents. Mohawk Warrior is probably retired because the Escalade body mold is TWENTY YEARS old now, idk what they did to keep using that thing but I'm betting they're calling it done now partly because of that, along with Great Clips pulling out of sponsoring and leaving the truck without a sponsor it's had since 2018. "No RII limits" you're just stupid for that one. Not gonna sugarcoat it. The excitement is there, you're just a sucker for nostalgia. Modern monster jam is pretty good, and if you want stuff like this Monster Truck Throwdown and Toughest are right there.
@ i think u make a pretty solid point. What i mean with the rii is just not as many limits as they have now. Bc dennis frequently used to run freestyle with just about two flats
@@13thmafiaracing69Has Monster Jam had jokes throughout their classics cause I’m assuming NASCAR and Monster Jam and Supercross have had jokes for years
Stop calling Monster Jam that’s been the way it’s been since 2016 garbage people have told me that they are still using commentary but small sets and having similar ones to the old shows Monster Jam is still good just like the golden era and they said Monster Jam is compared to back in the day on how it’s been then on how it is today in the last 7 years

Best year of freestyle ever.
Those were the good ol days.
Probably one of the best freestyle years of all time

Now they can’t even fill a arena/stadium

Your a legend for this upload
Thank you for making these, love watching these during school, but what is the name of this song? Sounds great and it fitted the intro to this video.
Thank you! Also how is this not blocked!?!
It'd be nice if you didn't put this comment on every one of these videos they probably will get blocked

What Was That For It’s Maximum Destruction?
How in the freaking world is this not copyright unless it is, I can barely make a 20 second video without copyright issues
Well, let’s be careful now we don’t want to EDP over there. I should’ve kept that to myself.😢
Back when they’d actually risk the truck for some sick tricks instead of todays garbage show
