If there's one thing I've noticed and appreciate, it's Chuggaconroy slightly changing the tone of Fawful's voice to be more... power-hungry after he had absorbed the Dark Star's power, showing how Fawful had started to lose his sanity, like his mind is being consumed by the Dark Star's influence.
Since we saw it briefly, fun thing about the conference room. In the remake, all the furniture and carpets and stuff are replaced with dark fawfullized versions. This includes the broken table in the conference room, that is, Fawful replaced the broken table with another broken table. I can imagine Fawful having his minions bring in the table, claim that it "looks wrong", then demands that Midbus punch it
I honestly hope we see the Bowser Jr side mode cause it maybe repetitive but the actual story in it is very good character development for Bowser Jr. Wait is it in this one it's in or is it one of the later ones? Granted I haven't really seen the story of that I only heard about it having good character development
Fun fact: There's some extremely obscure Bowser dialogue just before the Peach's Castle fight if you try leaving the castle through the tower entrance rather than the main doors. He gets a small thought bubble, and thinks "Gotta follow that guy..." before not exiting the castle. It's just a failsafe to stop the player from skipping the giant battle, I think.
I really like the slow evolution of Bowser recovering from the fall after returning to normal size. At first he's knocked out from the fall, then he lands flat on his face but gets up quickly, then he tries to land on his feet and falls back on his butt, and now he's landing on his feet and staying there.
I always felt like the third landing would've been a lot smoother had Bowser's back not taken so many hits in the train strike. It kinda looked like the landing hurt him slightly, and the future vault throw just damaged it further to the point of severity. Just a theory though.
I'm going to take this final giant battle to talk about how great the presentation is for this game. When compared to earlier LP's of DS games on the channel, the way the screen transitions for this battles is so smooth. It feels so natural, keeps the viewer's immersion, and the creator's original vision of these scenes and battles intact. I find that an impressive feat that shouldn't go unnoticed.
It's funny to think we all thought stuff like that wouldn't be possible back in the day. Just goes to show how far recording and editing technologies have come.
What I wanna know is how Emile and pretty much everyone else changes the positions in the middle of the video. I wasn’t able to record dual screen games myself until Loopy pulled through almost two years ago, but it wasn’t until late in my own Kirby: Triple Deluxe LP that I figured out how to do it in OBS. My guess is better video editing software than VideoPad, but my laptop keeps saying I need this Visual C++ thing to install Sony Vegas Pro. My current laptop is finally giving out on me though, so at this point, I might as well wait until I can afford a new one to get that sorted out
Hey, thanks! I wasn't sure if anyone really noticed that regular gameplay is on the top screen and battles are on the bottom, so there's a seamless transition! Editing is usually a thankless job, where it's best if it's not breaking immersion.
@@chugga It's quite ironic. You know you're doing a great job when people don't notice but a bad job when there's an error people can see. Which can feel quite anxiety inducing because, as you said, it is a thankless job. It can feel uncertain of you're doing good more then bad when errors are more mentioned more often. So all of this rambling is to just say, I'm glad to let you know you're doing a great job!
Emile putting his absolute ALL into that Dark Fawful impression is legit taking me out 😆 It's so great. it's honestly endearing hearing him have this much audible joy voicing a character in this game.
@@Max-rz8br Same! Even in appearance alone I think he looks like he's only one twig snap away from absolutely burning the whole kingdom into the ground, and dumping the residue of it into a black hole eagerly waiting for it to reach the singularity
One thing I love, is just how ominous everything becomes when bowser gets crushed. Like, theres no music or anything, to show how dire bowser situation is, and you are his last hope to revive him. Could be thinking too far into this, but just like to think about these moments.
the bowser situation is crazy 💀 (misread it as saying "how dire the bowser situation is" then realized that i misread it but i'm still posting this anyway)
One small detail I like is that after every giant battle, when Bowser shrinks and falls, he sticks the landing better each time. Against Bowser Castle, he’s face down on the ground, after Tower of Yikk, he belly flops again but gets up right away, after fawful express he lands on his feet but cringes and falls onto his behind. And after this one, he just lands on his feet perfectly fine
A cool detail that I didn’t notice until this LP is that Bowser gets better at landing after the Giant battles. Initially, he fell and was dazed for a second. The second time, he picked himself up right away. The third time, he landed on his feet and then fell over. And now, he’s landing on his feet with no issues.
I think it’s so funny to think that if you saw bowser from an outsiders perspective in game you just see him inhaling a pigs breath from the snout back off then go back on randomly and then punching the air instead of walking around. So much about these games just get so much funnier when you think of it from an in game outsiders perspective.
I like the consistency, for a lack of a better word, of having UV+ light being used to make boos visible. It's also used in luigis mansion starting from the second.
@@RandoGruntWrong part lol. The next part is LONG LIVE THE KING! Not being rude btw just wanted to point that out since I've listened to it too many times.
@spingebill9962 Oh I know the right part, I just wanted to say that since this video was another giant battle, and that part plays when Bowser goes Fury Bowser, lol.
If there's anything I love about the final giant battle, it's the cutscene with the Toads panicking! It just feels too damn good, more than it has any right to be! Speaking of which, I also love it when Bowser says "I RULE!!!" whenever he levels up, gets an excellent on a special attack, and wins a giant battle! I'm surprised Emile never pointed this out
I like how the Toads are concerned about Bowser (understandably), but none of them are concerned about their seat of government transforming into a giant death robot.
Funnily enough Giga Bowser was actually originally planned as one of Hammer Slam Bowser's abilities in Skylanders Superchargers. They swapped it out with the Magma Bowser form instead though.
Toys for Bob did tell Nintendo about planning to add Giga Bowser, actually, but Nintendo gave them permission to get creative on a new form fitting for Bowser.
I love that when Emilie voices Fawful when he has the power of the dark star he puts on a more aggressive voice unlike before where it was higher pitched and more of a joking tone. It fits really well and it's such a nice touch!
I also love how he adds the shadowy reverb for Dark Bowser's voice. Emphasizes how misanthropic the guy is compared to regular Bowser. I will say that Emile's Fawful voice wasn't my favorite performance for most of the series (compared to Broque Monsieur and Wiggler), but yeah, his Dark Fawful voice really emphasizes how unhinged and pissed Fawful is with the power of the Dark Star.
A detail I really like happens at the end of each Giant Boss battle after Bowser shrinks back down. After Bowser's Castle, Bowser faceplants and leaves an impression in the ground, and is left dizzy for a few seconds. After Tower of Yikk, Bowser falls on his stomach, but gets up quickly. After Fawful Express, Bowser lands on his feet, but the shock causes him to slip onto his butt. After Super Peach's Castle of Fury, Bowser finally sticks the landing.
We are almost done with this game.... I don't want it to end but MAN IM SO HAPPY THIS LP IS REAL! As a big fan of this game, I was wishing for YEARS of this LP. And I think you delivered. Cant wait for these last few episodes!
I love how Bowser gets progressively better at landing after the giant battles. The first time he essentially gets the Wile E. Coyote treatment, second time is a less intense (but still humiliating) faceplant, third time he initially lands on his feet but stumbles and falls, and this time he nails it perfectly.
Dream Team kind of did the same thing. The first four giant battles showed Luigi pulling his cap down with all his might and Dreamy Luigi cowering in fear before going giant but the last one against Bowser showed Luigi casually pulling his cap down with one hand and a smirk on his face and Dreamy Luigi posing with Mario.
5:14 Here comes the final Giant Battle, a massive step up from the (F)Awful Express because you're not blowing over and over and hoping the mic cooperates (Yes I know the remake fixed this, but still being mostly limited to just blowing fire isn't all that fun)
I wanna take this time to mention that the black hole in the giant battle itself actually has a unique game over if you happen to lose all your HP while stuck in it, it actually fully pulls bowser inside before it vanishes completely leaving no trace once it vanishes...it is honestly very creepy and freaked me the heck out when I saw it cause I was struggling a lot of this fight as a kid.
Because in that moment, everyone is just gone. Bowser is killed, along with Mario, Luigi, Starlow, and all of the castle staff Toads. Very terrifying to think about
i really like that the final giant battle is peach's castle to parallel the first being bowser's castle. i also really like the running detail of bowser getting better at catching himself from his fall after each giant battle, to the point where he sticks the landing right at the very end!
To answer your question about being surprised with Bowser being the protagonist, I discovered this game at a rental store when I was like 6 or 7. I saw it was a Mario game for the DS with no knowledge of what an RPG was, let alone the M+L spin offs. So playing it for the first time and realizing I could just play as Bowser through most of it was mind blowing at the time. Still my favorite game in the entire franchise to this day!
The awkward alternate ending to BIS is Bowser punches the castle OUT OF ORBIT and just has to be like “goddamn it” as it slowly floats away into a different galaxy
4:25 When i first played the game, in that brief dimble wood section with bowser right after fighting him at peach's castle i didn't know you were actually supposed to play as bowser so after he goes "Hey where am i anyway?" he just stood there and i was expecting some more cutscene to happen untill finally i tried moving.
This is my favorite giant bowser fight! It’s fun, not too difficult, and really epic with the black holes and the sheer bizarreness of a mechanized Peach’s castle.
This game made me love Bowser as a character in every way. His personality, his gameplay, his dialogue, hell even exploring around inside of Bowser was cool. He remains an all time favorite villain for me thanks to this game, making me able to go thru events thru his perspective
9:30 Another part taken out of the remake, it would been so funny to see the toads actually run away from seeing Bowser become a giant but now they are nowhere to be seen
What I love is how every time a giant battle ends, Bowser's landing gets better. First he fell and made a crater, then just fell on his face, then on his feet but couldn't take it, and now, finally, he sticks it.
9:32 this was my favorite visual for a pre giant battle, with the planets lined up as well in the background too 17:05 i do find it funnier that for the end of this giant battle bowser Yeets the castle over orbit, and it's just funnier to see it be used to power scale bowser
It probably helps that the amount of extensive editing work is probably lower compared to some past LPs. Mostly just quick jokes and essential audio work.
@QwixLF I mean it's definitely not as intense as something like Splatoon, but he still has to do a bunch of frame perfect screen cuts due to switching between screens, in addition to moving them around for readability in cases like here in giant battles.
This was always my favorite giant battle. Just the utter shock of the fight itself and then the blackhole mechanic was just so much fun and as a kid I never made it past frost midbus and never got to experience some of the best parts of this game till I got older
First bowser had to turn giant and fight his own castle, but now he has fight peach’s. At least he won’t have to worry about repairing this one, he can bring down the house with peace of mind
And now for the best Giant Fight in the game. This is just the Tower of Yikk fight, but so much more extreme and cooler as a result. Launching each other into black holes, utilizing your spike ball move (interesting how the Body Slam is never used), until it becomes a grudge match is great, all with Toad Town for an audience. Since this is the last one, shoutouts to Dream Team for bringing them back and making them just as awesome! I also love how this parallels the events with Bowser Castle. It was the first giant fight of the game and you had to take it down before you could enter the castle. Peach’s Castle is the final giant fight, and you fight it after you storm the whole castle
I imagine you're recording the finale around now, just wanted to say thank you so much for daily uploads. It's been a companion through a valley in my life and anticipating 5pm everyday gives me something to look forward to in rough times. THANK YOU for coming back and hitting a highly requested game with all your energy, this is one of your best.
I hate the fact its almost over because I also agree that this is definitely his best work to date and even if the upcoming let’s plays are good, the amount of dedication is indescribable and if I am completely honest, I confidently loved all of the Giant Bowser fights and his gameplay more than Mario and Luigi’s He will always be my favorite member of the Runaway Guys and honestly feels rewarding that your back. Super close but well played Emile, you rightfully earned it tenfold!!! 🤭🔥💕
Unfortunately the thing with giga bowser is that apparently thats actually what sakurai wanted bowsers normal design to be in melee and nintendo pretty much immediately turned that down so other than being the final smash for bowser i dont think nintendo is particularly fond of giga bowser too much
Giga Bowser is how Sakurai sees the big lug I think. Fury Bowser is pretty much the closest thing we’ll ever get to Giga Bowser since yeah, Miyamato thinks otherwise
I know this will be the end of the game but long story short. I played the Demo version when that game came out. I was so hooked on it when NDS and other console games back in 2000s era. Playing as Bowser is very unique at that time but I coldn't remember due how young i was. During middle school, in lunch, I found that game on floor engraving "JUAN". I knew i wanted to give back to this juan kid, once I played it i completed the story and eversince it was one of my favorite DS games along with Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorer of Darkness and Transformers: Autobots. So Juan, who ever out there in middleschool. I thank you for the game and invested it during my middleschool days!
3:28 I took it a step further by muting the music and tried playing Bowser's theme over it for like a minute. Also when I first saw this game, it was under it's Japanese name "Mario and Luigi RPG 3!!!!!" And going by that title, I discovered that you got to play as Bowser through listening to people uploading the music at the time.
Say what you will about the remake having finishing moves for the giant battles (they’re fine I guess) but the one for SPCOF is insane. Bowser winds up a punch, hits the castle, knocks it INTO ORBIT, the castle FLIES AROUND THE PLANET, then crash lands back where bowser first hit. It made a full revolution around the goddamn planet. From one punch. That’s just ridiculous and I love it
I am fully aware of that but he never really stated what his actual favorite Mario character. We know he likes Daisy but what is his favorite, lol!!! 😂
I'm with ya there. Somewhat jokingly of course, it's not all that serious and Chugga can think whatever he wants about Peach, but now I like to think that the Bob-Omb challenge is his punishment for slandering my dear princess.
this dungeon has been like: large area outside large dungeon large dungeon mostly explored large dungeon inside large dungeon you fight the large dungeon itself the large dungeon continues
The use of the peach's castle grounds music for the castle transforming was such a good touch and made the scene so much cooler. The remake doesn't do this and I hate that.
This Giant Fight is my all-time favorite boss fight due to one factor/gimmick compared to everything else, and what that gimmick does: The Black Holes and Final Gambit. I love that the fight progressively evolved, using the black holes as critical factors that you have to fight your way out of and punish the boss with. But with all the chips down, we get the colossally thrilling Final Gambit. With both combatants stuck in the black holes and losing health by the second, you have to fight tooth and claw against both time, health, and the boss itself to make sure IT dies before YOU do, which is INCREDIBLY visceral. *I LOVE THAT.* And you hear that in Chugga’s voice at the end, there. It’s a fight that truly threatens to make you lose, and only by FIGHTING that desperately that you can win by a hair’s breadth.
If you’ll notice in the aftermath of the giant battles, Bowser gets better and better at sticking the landing. After the Bowser’s Castle fight, he lands flat on his face, stars circling around his head. After the Tower of Yikk, he still lands on his face, but recovers quicker. After the Fawful Express, he almost lands on his feet, but stumbles. Finally, after Peach’s Castle, he lands firmly on his feet.
The final giant battle. The SECOND fight in the game where damage is unavoidable. The only other fight being Midbus 1, or the Bowser combat tutorial. Possibly my most remembered part of the entire game before the ending itself.
Another day to mention that the Gall Socks, able to be bought inside Bowser, complements well with the Daredevil Boots. Equip the socks to Luigi and boots to Mario, and it basically makes Mario more able to survive since enemies and even bosses are much more prone to targeting Luigi. Slapping more defensive gear on Luigi also helps him stay alive really nicely! I know Emile mentioned in a past episode that it takes a bit for him to respond cause he records alot of stuff in advance. Still, i hope he looks into this! In other news, Hi Emile! Love what you do! Been watching since Wind Waker! ❤
Fun fact: did you know there was a manga series called super mario kun. And also there was BIS arc in volume 40 and 41. You gotta love to see this manga!
4:09 Yes! I was surprised of playing as Bowser since I played it blind and it's my first mario&Luigi game! This game creative story writing and fun gameplay made Bowser become one of my top 5 favorite Mario characters!😄
I love how dispute being right at the end of the game. don’t think Bowser has ever taken Fawful seriously for a single moment of this entire adventure.
@@alvaroperez2349 That reminds me so much of that one Mario Maker level: Super Mario vs. Mecha Bowzilla. Such a cool concept for a level and yet I don’t think it got ported over to Mario Maker 2…
A small detail that I didn’t notice across all of the giant battles is that Bowser actually gradually lands on his feet when he shrinks back, with him sticking the landing perfectly after you fight Peaches castle
I still think this final giant battle redeems the last one's technical difficulties. I mean, SURE. THAT LAST ONE CAN BE A VERY BIG STAIN ON THIS GAME and make you HATE the giant mechanics. But the black holes, the command prompts, the attacks, the unavoidable damage it deals to you to make the fight more interesting, the stakes increasing every so often by moving the black holes closer, the final win or die phase, it's just a pretty fun battle even if you struggle with it at first. Honestly, at this point even if you felt anger at the express, you've most likely forgiven the game by this point.
04:26 I reckon it's not many people, considering that Bowser-gameplay was heavily featured in trailers. Not to mention that the feature of switching between the bros and Bowser is prominently shown on the back of the game's box. 09:50 I'm inclined to disagree. 09:53 See. Peach is actually one of my favourite characters, believe it or not. (I did comment in the Super Mario Bros. Wonder Collab on TRG that I played the entire game only as Peach.) 15:09 Because Boos turn invisible...? 15:36 I see where you're comig from, but to me, Giga Bowser seems much more bestial and less in control than giant Bowser is here. I feel like it wouldn't be in-character to actually be able to control Giga Bowser. 16:48 If you die at this last part, Bowser actually just disappears into the black hole, never to be seen again. 17:20 Perfect landing. After first falling on his face and passing out for a bit, then falling on his face and getting up more quickly, and then falling on his butt, he finally lands on his feet.
I just had a thought. Has anyone at Nintendo ever explained the reason as to why Peach is still a princess and not queen by this point? Honestly, we never see Peach's mother or father, so unless they are hiding DEEP underground, they've been missing this entire time. They're either dead, or they're just on vacation and leaving Peach to take care of the kingdom. She really should be queen by now.
There’s never been an answer to that. In fact, it is pretty weird to think that a human like Peach is ruling a kingdom full of Toads. The Mario Bros movie from last year reveals that she came from elsewhere and was adopted by the Toads. But as for the games, it’s a mystery. 🤔
@juanluismendoza8655 I know the first game's manual mentioned a king, but there hasn't been a mention of him since the first game. It's like he just disappeared.
There was a fanon theory going around back in the early days of the Mario RPG that proposed the mushroom kingdom operated under a bizarre ruling where Peach would stay a princess until she got married and only then she would become queen. Kind of similar to Princess Zelda, the reason neither of them are interested in becoming queen/getting married, was because then they'd have to share ruling power (with some people believing she'd concede all power to the King but that doesn't make sense to me)
@@TheDark4light ....Eh, makes sense, actually. The Mushroom Kingdom is probably a patriarchal society ( power is inherited by the male line of the family), and the only reason Peach is ruling is because there's no male heirs and the parents are nowhere to be seen. And, usually in these cases, the queen is more of a consort role after they get married, at least in fairy tale logic, which the older games draw from. So yeah, the princesses would be relegated to an advisory role, at best, after becoming queens. And neither Peach or Zelda would handle that well in between the frequent kidnappings.
Something really interesting is that bowser's health after the giant battle seems to reflect what he was at, at the end of the fight. Before getting crushed he was full at 312, while at the end he only had 40.
Dude, I can't believe were already almost at the finale. I never thought you would do an LP of this game, but when you came back, I was excited, one of the things that made me happy in this crappy year.
The final section of this game is just so excellent. The chaotic dynamic of Fawful and Dark Bowser both roaming around independently of each other, Fawful getting genuinely angry at Bowser after all he’s accomplished, and the feeling that any of these battles could be the final battle as the tension ratchets higher and higher. It’s such a brilliant finale.
God i love the giant bowser fights, and you're so right about the giant luigi ones in the sequel. God dream team is so underrated, giant luigi v bowser is my favorite fight in the series
*Outside of Peach's Castle* Bowser: Where is that faker? Goomther: He was just here a moment ago, so there's not a lot of hiding places. Shawn: I mean, he is some sort of a cloud monster. Marni: Piercing spike! *casts a spell towards Bowser* Starlow: His energy sparked, now to finish the job. Mario and Luigi: Oh yeah. Huh? *a burst of magic flies by and spikes Bowser's energy* Starlow: What was that? Well, whatever that was, Bowser's moving again! Marni: Please, come back to us, Bowser. *suddenly, the ground begins to shake, and Bowser grows to the size of the castle and chucks it away* Marni: Oh, ... my, ... *gets pulled back by the others* Bowser's... Goomther: About to tear that castle to pieces. Kathie: Give it shell, my liege! Bonnie: Burn it to the ground! Shawn: SHOO-RAH! Broggy: BROOF! ROOF! *one giant battle later* Bowser: *lands on his feet* Yeah, I'm the coolest! Marni: Wow, that was amazing! Kathie: We told you he'd be alright. Bowser: Exactly. Now then, enough stalling. Time to chase after that imposter. Follow me! *Bowser and his minions enter the castle in search of Dark Bowser and Fawful*

I'll get back for a good view!
I never realized this before but Fawful's saying of the whole "finale of the final act" thing is a callback to Superstar Saga where he and Prince Peasley were going back and forth with some similarly worded statements
15:24 To be fair, if you kinda think about it, Giga Bowser almost seems like a precursor to the concept of Mega Evos or G-Maxing from Gen VI and VIII Pokémon. It’s a similar concept if you think about it.
Same could be said for Jigglypuff's Final Smash despite the whole balloon thing. Though it would be cool if Smash Bros stuff did leak its way into the main games like Giga Bowser being a canon form.
@ I agree. And I realize the remake might not have been able to do this due to budget limitations (what budget?) but the final battle in Dream Team didn’t use Giga Bowser either.
Something I didn't hear you mention is that Bowser does a better landing at the end of each giant battle! In the last one, he landed on his feet but couldn't take the fall, and in the final one he sticks the landing completely.

In the remake, all the furniture and carpets and stuff are replaced with dark fawfullized versions. This includes the broken table in the conference room, that is, Fawful replaced the broken table with another broken table.

Like, theres no music or anything, to show how dire bowser situation is, and you are his last hope to revive him.
Could be thinking too far into this, but just like to think about these moments.
the bowser situation is crazy 💀
(misread it as saying "how dire the bowser situation is" then realized that i misread it but i'm still posting this anyway)
I agree. The lack of music really adds to it.
The palette of the Bowser map also shifts red.
In the remake,
@ yes it’s my favorite thing about it. It also completely stops moving
It's time for the final giant boss. We started with Bowser's Castle, and now we finish with Peach's Castle.
Castleception
6/10 needs more castle
I was hoping that Dark Bowser would end in a Giant battle between the two juggernauts.
Interesting that all the giant battles are inanimate objects
Holy crap, it’s like the predecessor to Luigi progressively getting better at landing on the islands in Brothership!
@@Rediscool9and dreamy Luigi becoming more confident before giant battles in dream team
I think it’s so funny to think that if you saw bowser from an outsiders perspective in game you just see him inhaling a pigs breath from the snout back off then go back on randomly and then punching the air instead of walking around. So much about these games just get so much funnier when you think of it from an in game outsiders perspective.
it's likely called a Boo System because it mimics the way a boo can turn invisible, probably by harnessing power from actual boos
@@monsterplayer2217 Its only weakness is probably that X-Ray light from that ghost tower from earlier.

@@RandoGruntHuh. Didn't think about that. That's actually really clever.
Since Mario & Luigi help trigger Bowser's giant transformation with the Rump Comand, I guess you can call the giant transformation an...
*ASS PULL!*
Nice one.
I made this joke with the first Giant Battle.
That's a shame! I wish they'd utilize him for... anything else!
It also emphasizes how Fawful is now taking Bowser as an actual threat. Before it seemed like he was a tool at best to Fawful and a nuisance at worst.
(6:16) You'd think Bowser would have learned by now that maybe he *_shouldn't_* stand directly underneath these giant bosses.
I don't think he had time to react... and that, by _Transformers_ logic, time is temporarily frozen for everyone that _isn't_ transforming.
@@WackoMcGoosetrue lol
I think by now he knows he can be revived to a giant, and I think even he knows that's the only way to kill whatever he's fighting
Can’t believe we’re at the very last giant battle. Such a great concept, and a great execution. I’m glad Dream Team brought it back.
I like how you make Fawful’s voice sound more insane once he gets the Dark Star’s power
To answer your question about being surprised with Bowser being the protagonist,
I discovered this game at a rental store when I was like 6 or 7. I saw it was a Mario game for the DS with no knowledge of what an RPG was, let alone the M+L spin offs. So playing it for the first time and realizing I could just play as Bowser through most of it was mind blowing at the time. Still my favorite game in the entire franchise to this day!
Gotta love it when Bowser goes all 'this place isn't YOURS to conquer'.
In 2009, Bowser fought two castles. 15 years later, he had the bright idea to become one himself.
I absolutely love that, in the remake, bowser punches the castle into orbit and all the way around the planet before landing back in the arena.
It’s basically like GALACTIC BOWSER’S ARMS all over again.
“Bye, X-Nauts.”
The awkward alternate ending to BIS is Bowser punches the castle OUT OF ORBIT and just has to be like “goddamn it” as it slowly floats away into a different galaxy
6:43 I didn’t know that Chuggaa could speak a little Italian. Must’ve taken some lessons from Gregorio DeFalco.
The Italian Coastguard hero from the Costa Concordia crash? I'd believe it.
I love your Palpatine reference, you indeed have solidified your place at #1 TH-cam for me
This is my favorite giant bowser fight!
The voice acting on Dark Fawful is insanely good, he sounds so much more maniacal
Certainly didn't expect to play Bowser the first time, that was a huge and great surprise
I didn’t either but I was easily wowed and pleasantly surprised, I wish they would do more often please because it’s incredible!!! 😈💕
9:32 this was my favorite visual for a pre giant battle, with the planets lined up as well in the background too
17:05 i do find it funnier that for the end of this giant battle bowser Yeets the castle over orbit, and it's just funnier to see it be used to power scale bowser
Death Battle brought that up in his fight with Baldi McNosehair himself, Dr Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik
Bowser BETTER care about Peach’s well being. He loves Peaches, plus he’s a real lady’s man.
Final 48 hours of the main story, what an enjoyable series this was.
46 consecutive videos. Hope you're not pushing yourself too far, Chuggaa.
I think he pre-records these in batches to mitigate the stress of back to back uploads
hes also said during this playthrough that he only records when he genuinely wants to :)
It probably helps that the amount of extensive editing work is probably lower compared to some past LPs. Mostly just quick jokes and essential audio work.
Cringe loser
I like how Bowser lands better and better over the course of the game after shrinking back to normal size. A neat touch!
I hate the fact its almost over because I also agree that this is definitely his best work to date and even if the upcoming let’s plays are good, the amount of dedication is indescribable and if I am completely honest, I confidently loved all of the Giant Bowser fights and his gameplay more than Mario and Luigi’s
He will always be my favorite member of the Runaway Guys and honestly feels rewarding that your back.
That’s just ridiculous and I love it
the fact that fawful was able to completely change peaches castle into a mech in a short time period is very impressive
Thats why the remake is superior

@@sparklingsweetmelodiesIndeed.
this dungeon has been like:
large area outside large dungeon
large dungeon mostly explored
large dungeon inside large dungeon
you fight the large dungeon itself
the large dungeon continues
The use of the peach's castle grounds music for the castle transforming was such a good touch and made the scene so much cooler.
The remake doesn't do this and I hate that.
This Giant Fight is my all-time favorite boss fight due to one factor/gimmick compared to everything else, and what that gimmick does:
The Black Holes and Final Gambit.
*I LOVE THAT.*
And you hear that in Chugga’s voice at the end, there.
Bowser punched the castle out of orbit and looped all the way around the world.
Back with more Red Guy and Louis: Bowyer's Indoor Tale!
I love how the first giant boss you fight is a castle, and the last one you fight is… a castle. I find that very interesting, actually.

Wonder Collab on TRG that I played the entire game only as Peach.)
15:09 Because Boos turn invisible...?
15:36 I see where you're comig from, but to me, Giga Bowser seems much more bestial and less in control than giant Bowser is here. I feel like it wouldn't be in-character to actually be able to control Giga Bowser.
16:48 If you die at this last part, Bowser actually just disappears into the black hole, never to be seen again.
17:20 Perfect landing. After first falling on his face and passing out for a bit, then falling on his face and getting up more quickly, and then falling on his butt, he finally lands on his feet.
I love Princess Peach as well, and I always enjoy playing as her when I can. And Princess Peach Showtime is in my top 10 favorite games ever made. 😊
I actually played as Peach for the entirety of Wonder as well
i really appreciate that you don’t do the giant battles perfectly, it’s nice to see things play out differently and more intensely
Love a good episode of Luis and Red Guy!
I do like how Bowser does slowly learn to stick the landing after each giant fight
Boo system? Like the…ghosts that turn invisible?

15:33 I feel like the only callback to smash bros is in this game where Mario does his wind-up punch victory animation when activating super strike.
Did he really call Luigi “Louis”? I get it’s probably a joke, just wasn’t expecting it. Like the masseur joke.
I have been both hyped and waiting for @chuggaaconroy to commentate this boss fight between Peach’s Castle!
This is my favorite episode of the series
I never realized this before but Fawful's saying of the whole "finale of the final act" thing is a callback to Superstar Saga where he and Prince Peasley were going back and forth with some similarly worded statements
Loved the castle fight. One of the best giant battles in the Mario and Luigi series.
Looks like this Let's Play will finish around the [50] episode mark! How fitting!

Welcome to the fight against the longest enemy name in the series!
Technically, yeah.
Fawful enjoys names such as these!
15:21 I do wonder why that hasn't been the case, maybe because of lore convolution or they just didn't feel like it, IDK
Something I didn't hear you mention is that Bowser does a better landing at the end of each giant battle! In the last one, he landed on his feet but couldn't take the fall, and in the final one he sticks the landing completely.
13:25 DUDE, kirby's epic yarn throwback???
Chugga's chords of steel are really something in this episode.
