Never heard of this guy before, but man... what an interesting man, very likeable... and he has a great attitude and perspective concerning people and music - life. This interview was way too short for my liking, seems like this guy was a force to be reckoned with (and possibly still is), especially back in the nineties, looks like he did a great deal for the rave scene, glad you shone the spotlight on him, deservedly so. Made me laugh when he talked about playing musical instruments and how he thinks regarding the structure of sound... much like myself. Right then, looks like I'm off to find out more about this fascinating guy and his musical and intellectual ways. It would seem there's a rich history there to be discovered and appreciated.

You not being familiar with Tiga is not a testament to his lack of popularity or success, but rather your lack of knowledge. If you were knowledgeable you would know. If you have never heard of Four Tet or Ben UFO does that mean they're not popular? No, it just means you have some things to learn. Take this as a situation where you can learn of a great artist, not where you can say something negative about them and boast about how your knowledge is the barometer for absolute popularity or influence.
