Hopefully the rollout on these in North America will be better than the 8S was. Nice to see that the chassis is virtually the same as I've heard great things about 87xx series, this just seems like improvements all around to build on that.
Is there a 10s? Return of the big four wheel drive, or has that been replaced with these front wheel assist tractors? They are more useful every day around the farm.
Good afternoon Andy, you sound like you've got a bit of cold. 9s looks fantastic. Do massey use fendt vario, if so are they still the 2 range transmission. 👍
Hi Andy the tractor looks pretty awesome. Im a little disappointed that they didn't incorporate the 9.8l engine into at least the two largest models. I love the 8.4 but we are stretching it pretty tight to get to hp we have and I would have been happy to see them put a little more beef in it. Excellent video and we will be looking into ordering one soon
Hi Andrew, many thanks for Chandlers & Agco/MF hospitality on Tuesday & Wednesday. An excellent trip. It is interesting & encouraging to see the development/expansion that Agco have invested in the Beauvais site - this clearly shows a real commitment to the MF product, which the S series - now complete with the launch of the 9S shows. (a real statement to the opposition) As 87 series user the cab on the 9S looks amazing, well laid out, good storage space, especially under the new passenger seat. Wasn’t sure about the exhaust……. until I sat in the cab, you just can’t see it - so excellent visibility (someone’s done their homework). I thought the bonnet looked narrower than our 87 - maybe a result of only one turbo ? = again better visibility. Bottom cab step looks stronger. Overall some nice touches which show that MF listen to its customers & clearly make an effort when evolving products. Richard
Thank you for your comment Richard and we are glad you enjoyed the factory visit, it is a real eye opener going there and seeing it all put together 👍🏻
Great video Andy, thanks for that, looks a nice tractor especially with the new colour scheme good that the underpinnings are the same as the 87's will make it a good performer, the only thing that I find is the cab hasn't got as much storage as our 8730s we had an 8s 245 on demo a we while ago and I was surprised at really how little storage space there was, I have loads of room up the side and round the back of the seat to put stuff out of the way, and the door bin behind the left side you can barely get a note book in it its so shallow, but on the 87 you have a lot more depth and you have a useful paper tray in the top, the tractor will be great especially with all the new technologies, I like it, just the cab comparison really 👍
Just a question , currently drive an 8700 series are the cabs similar size especially width wise ?? It's probably an optical illusion but the 9s cab looks narrower 🤷♂️ thanks 👍
@@masseyman6290 yes i am, just had to change the rear wheel weights as they filled the wheel rim and it didnt look right, luckily i had a spare set from a 7726S so j put them on, i dont think i can add a picture so i might post up a video of it tomorrow
One question Andy, on the 1/32 model of the 9S im getting is its fitted with rear wheel weights that nearly fill the rim but i have not seen these fitted on the real version so is this accurate?
@@paulpalmer1450 as far as I know the wheel weights fitted to the tractor in this video are the only ones available as an option - you can have up to 4 of them each side.
Thanks for the reply Andy, luckily i have some spare weights i removed from a 7726S so i think i might take off the big rear weights and put the spares ones i have on when i get the 9S, thanks again
It'll be exciting to see one working next year 👍
Its very similar to our 135!
🤣
MF My Favourite
Is trying to but never ever will be a fendt bespite the sales talk they are not the “same” tractor
The first look i saw was in farming simulator even before official launch at agritechnica 😂😂
We have a 7718s 1,200 hours she made 211.4 hp on the dyno 3 weeks ago. Had a 7718 and 6480 before that good tractors.

There have been rumours about it, but who knows?
A lot of shared components with other AGCO brands. No bad thing. Still uniquely Massey.
Masseyferguson been dead to me since they quit building them in canada dad and my brother has bought a few over the years there junk

Yes it’s a transmission sourced from Fendt and two ranges same as we’ve always had.
Will be the same as the 8, scrap.
We have probably 20 of them, all useless

Almost looks like they copied the Fendt
Wow!! What a beautiful beast 💪💪😍😍👍 thank you for the vid👍
Lovely tractor.
That is a beast!

Tell them to make a tractor that works in the winter. We dropped MF because they dont work at all in 20-30 minus.
I would like one if i had the money
Superb tractor 👌 but have to say probably have half a days work done on an old 600 series before i sussed out how to start that beast 🙄🤣🤣🤣👍
Only half a day Bob….? 😉🤣
Yeh probably more like half a week 🙄🤣🤣🤣
Fantastic Andy
It looks absolutely fantastic. 👍😊🇮🇪🇬🇧
Hi I am from Iraq. May be in touch with u
Still not as good as my 3085
Beautiful looking tractor, the larger bonnet and rear wheels make the cab look in proportion to the tractor, lovely
The new cab sits very well on in, it’s as if it was made for it….😉
This is just a monster

I think you’ll find in the 9S there seems to be a few more cubby holes Paul, next time I get close to one I’ll try and get some footage of them.
B.E.A.S.T. esp those tyres.

I haven’t measured the cab, but I’d say the new cab is a little bit wider and deeper than the old cab and definitely more head room.
@@masseyman6290 thanks 👌
Great video. Love Massey.
I like air intake. Is that seat monitor adjust knobe still hitting side window wiper motor box thing ? When u turn the seat
I didn’t try it to be honest.

Very nice lol 😊😊
Hi what engine has it got and are there any engine options.?
8.4L Agco power, much the same as the outgoing engine, but does not have two turbos or EGR
what a tractor
Bill Gates just purchased 10 of these...
Great video Andy. Can’t wait to see one working 🚜🚜
Me too, I think it’s going to be a fabulous tractor to drive and if it performs 25hp better than the 8740S it will be some weapon!
Good to see they've moved the ignition to the side
Completely agree, I’m surprised that you’re the first one to mention it….
Hi Andy my 9S.425 in 1/32 arrived today
Excellent, are you pleased with it Paul?

the king of all tractor 🚜 johndeer 8R 409 hp 🔥
So do we have the same chassis, engine, and transmission as before?
Yes and no, transmission and final drives tweaked to take extra HP, engine no longer has two turbos or EGR, chassis much the same 👍🏻
Great looking tractor, just waiting on my 1/32 version from my local massey dealer👍
