- I spent a very very long time on this monster, until I found this whole ~5 minutes scripted sequence, where I could chain-down Risen Teostra.
I had to deal very precise amounts of damage to it in-between Risen transformations, and be careful not to KO it during those ; only when he's not enraged.
I had a single area kill in the large desert area (60% spawn) that was 5:29, then yesterday I wanted to give a try to this 10% spawn area which I had never tried before.
Needless to say that despite the quick area change, this ended up being my fastest run, and to be fair also the one where I played the best + Risen Teostra had excellent move selection.
Risen Teostra is like I said in my first encounter video a little disappointing. It feels like "just" Teostra with bigger explosions and one or two more moves, and a few attack sequences extensions.
While it's not too bad and I still love the fight, it just leaves me wondering if the developers didn't hold off on making Risen Teostra too crazy (and Risen Kushala to almost the same extent), after how amazing, strong and unique Risen Chameleos was.

I especially love how teostra's mane/hair/fur has turned white in some places. He looks older, more weathered. Gives him a great alternative colour palette compared to his dark red, red and orange normal colour.
My brain simply can't handle the G-Rank Desert battle theme playing over a Strength Hammer Risen Teostra speedrun. It's just too metal.
Wow...all that time you spent on Risen Teo has paid off!! Epic bonking, Lynn!! I read the description and I really appreciate the breakdown of what goes on behind the scenes. That bonk to the face as soon as Teo landed in the new area got me giggling 😁. Fantastic run

I've picked up hammer recently and Risen Teostra has been my practice target of choice. Risen Teostra is honestly my favourite Teostra incarnation to date, and hammer feels like it matches the fight perfectly.
There's always so much I enjoy watching these fights play out, Seeing how and when you decide to change a combo, reposition, actually strategize mid-fight. It's always a treat, and helps me in my own hunts against the same tells.
However something that must be said is, Your work editing in these themes really pays off! It enhances the videos from just another hunt, to a spectacle to experience. Then you even add in the flair of your own outfits, this mixed with the visual filters and themes that mesh together. Your hard work really shows off in each and every video, And it really raises it all to another level. What I would do to have a mod that emulates even parts of the effort you put in to every story you craft. Cheers Dynamo! Happy Unga bungaing ^ ^

Aaah thank you so much! I have an entire library of pretty much every song in the franchise, I pick what fits the best with the quest or monster I'm hunting
I don't find risen kushala that hard, but I did have many issues with risen chameleos. Risen teostra though... Spend a whole night getting him down, and he's still not an easy fight for me. Awesome fights though! I love these variants.
Wait how did you change the victory bgm?! I really love frontier victory bgm, is it mod?
I have a question about the build. Why don't you use Scorned waist? Those 15 attack add a lot.
1) Because I'm using Powder Mantle 3
2) Because the raw attack boost of Mail of Hellfire applies to the blue scroll, and I'm already using Dereliction which has its raw attack boost (larger than Mail of Hellfire) apply to the red scroll. You can't mix both at the same time.

@@honezone2266 Please, its not dumb at all! I myself thought about using both but then I remembered you can't because of the scrolls exclusivity.
how did you do to get so much KO with sluger 1????
I don't know what is "so much KOs" since I got 4 which is pretty normal considering the amount of hits I landed on its face + the fact that Hammer's level 3 charge has insane KO values
why is there no blue or purple?
cause they're using the warring lands in-game filter

It's a PC only feature. Filters apply different lighting/effects/colors on the game. Warring-Lands style turns everything black and white except reds and yellows
