It wasn't Paula Deen's mistake that made me not like her as a person. It was her food at the restaurant that I couldn't handle. My husband and I visited the restaurant in Savannah. We were there to try their food to see if it was a good wedding venue for the meal portion. We got their buffet. However, they were out of ribs and we had to pay for that and never got any of the ribs. The peach cobbler tasted like canned peached cobbler. The food was cold and the service wasn't very friendly. This was back in 2016. I think if she were there to cook it herself, it would have tasted better. I always give restaurants two chances when I go. Everyone is entitled to a bad day. But this place was a bit of a nightmare. We had purchased one entrée on top of the buffet as well. The entrée was very late despite no one being in the restaurant
Paula Deen showed me the passion of cooking if it wasn't cuz of her I wouldn't cook as good as I cook now when I cook for my friends and family they tell me that it is restaurant quality food I think that that Paula Deen taught me how to cook like a restaurant chef yeah when you become a movie star or a celebrity chef there's always going to be an idiot that try to take you down and when they do you know you get shit on but after all that stuff that she went through I still love Paula Deen she is my favorite celebrity chef
Paula triggered an interest in me to start cooking back in 2006. Till this day I still make her banana pudding, strawberry cake, southwest deviled eggs and corny coleslaw and I get RAVE REVIEWS everytime. I loved her then and I still got Love for Paula now 😊
She could have quit…isn’t it interesting who sues…seems many of these people just think they are going to make a fortune off others by suing. They are ridiculous and this can be settled outside the courts leaving the courts to handle really important cases…like kidnapping..murder…trafficking etc.
Paula has persevered and still going strong. The Food Network lost a great show for wanting to be PC correct even if the charges against Paula were not true. I still watch and learn from her on TH-cam and rarely ever watch The Food Network anymore.
Paula is legend and I still watch her on TH-cam! Paula was "Ghosted". Paula and Martha Stewart are the comeback queens of food! They also pave the way for women chefs:)

I also blasted QVC, since she wrote the forward on David Venable's first cookbook. Sears is gone. JCP is on life support. Target allows men into the women's restrooms. They are all a waste. Wal-Mart will live on, no matter what, so I just have to deal with it. I do not shop at Wal-Mart, like I used to. There will NEVER be another DAMN Smithfield product in my house. EVERY year, we make it a point to eat @ Paula's Kitchen in Myrtle Beach, during our visit. Paula is The South. Paula is Savannah, GA.
I know its not good to generalize but Southerners are really obsessed with transgenders and bathrooms. They talk about it constantly and it's weird. I remember Pornhub exposing Republican areas/states as being the most to view that on their sites and backed it with data.
Paula was the consummate southern lady stereotyped as a racist. She did come off that way sometimes, but when you live around certain segments it manifests itself......not because of cultural differences but from interactions and experiences with those segments
I loved watching her I still watch her on her cooking videos.I don't watch the cooking channels any more too boring.They lost a lot when they dropped her.
Shame on that person that filed law suit. So many people love the suing game they will slam brakes on to get rear ended then file an injury claim its sicking.
