I was confused from that too. One of my biggest pet peeves is when they miserably fail replicating a scene. In this one, they show what looks like the terrain is jagged peaks and barren valleys with green trees, They intersperse it with snow everywhere and snowy peaks looking like it is in the Arctic, with deep snow everywhere, far from the dessert and snow capped ridges and mountains in Afghanistan. There were also different helicopters that were not painted the same.

@@juicewrld5884 well yes, I am aware that Rangers Lead the Way. But I believe that Ranger also implemented the "No Man Left Behind" mindset. I've got a good friend who was a USMC door gunner on a Sikorski in Vietnam, and man you can feel yourself age just listening to the stories he very rarely tells. Funny thing he pointed out to me...the guys who talk nothing but combat....generally didn't see that much. The guys who WERE in the thick of things....you have to pry it out of them. I've found that to be true.

The incredible shot from the Thumbnail is from a Mount Hood rescue in Oregon (non-combat) several years ago. Look into it if you're interested. This is an iconic photograph.

The thumbnail pic is indeed of a rescue on Mt Hood, but it was not part of the same incident in which the Blackhawk crashed. Totally different rescues from different years.

These 'Shorts' with video clips from Anything that has the "vehicle" they're talking about, but Aren't The Actual "Transportation Vehicle" really "Grind My Gears"(Peter Griffin: Family Guy)!
I'm sure there are Actual pics &/or vids of the Chinook that did this Mission, so Why do the 'Short Video' Makers Not use the Stills or Vids available ?!
Apart from Cost, that is. Otherwise it just seems to be yet Another "Made Up" Video with a BS Story attached!!

Unlike the people that cared about other people and disrupted the US's murderous self destructive behaviour in Vietnam, your dad was a sheep that kept it going. Hippies didn't stop anything. Politicians who hate America started these wars, and soldiers who actually loved America stopped it. Fake patriot.
