    Sir why tri element is bad in anasys

      tetrahedral elements (triangles) are not as good as hexahedral elements (squares) because they are less accurate and require a greater computing time for ANSYS.

      @@robopatt Why is that? I heard that triangles were chosen due ot being simpler to compute, and generally a face of a square element is broken into two triangle faces.

      hex elements are better fit to flows. because they can be symetrical in flow direction. a triangle cant. just think about it@@aaaaa4697
