Honestly, my most common prayer - multiple times a day is " Lord, help me"...with literally everything. Sometimes my heart is so heavy and the needs of others is so numerous, it overwhelms me and I go dumb and mute so to speak. The Lord knows our heart's cry - even when we have no strength to utter a single word. To be known by the Lord - through and through - is comforting. 💜

I once told my husband I had never seen a bald eagle in real life when we were at the beach and how I really wanted to see one and like 30 minutes later the biggest bald eagle landed right next to my car. It was such a blessing.

I struggle with what to journal honestly. I can read the bible kinda understand it but for me to start writing. I have no idea how or what to write. I have no motivation or routine. Love your channel. I also wish your mom would do a mama morning routine with quiet time. I'm a mom of 2 boys! Have a blessed great day. It's crazy but once you start writing it will come to you to write more. I just write ideas, thoughts and what I'm understanding about the verses or chapter. Than in the middle of all that sometimes a small prayer would come to mind and I write it down.
Came here to see new ideas for my quiet time and we're doing practically the same hahah. But... I liked to things that I would like to do: A book for my summer time and Praying for people. I liked that in your prayer journal you have like an album with photos of the people you are praying for sooo that would be interesting to try.
LOL, I think your reaction to the Bald Eagle was similar to my reaction the first time I saw one out in nature. They are not something most of us see every day, so, IMO, it is more than okay to be excited when we do see them.
I agree and I encourage structure with my clients for me it’s with my Bible reading for them it’s their recovery. I reevaluate my devotional time at least three or four times a year and I’m never really satisfied with it.
