Thanks for watching! If you'd like to hear my Bible Study resource recommendations for beginners, watch this video: th-cam.com/video/eafgF9Yjaio/w-d-xo.html
Hi Faith! I’ve been watching your channel for a while now and you are one of my favorite channels because I trust that you handle the scriptures responsibly and are in love with Jesus! I love your approach to Bible study and I just love your personality. I am excited about the resources you shared here! Thank you for all the time and dedication to helping me (and many others) grow closer to the LORD by reading, studying, and desiring His Word! This video is the first time I’ve heard you mention that you have an older sister who is deceased. My older sister passed away a couple of years ago so that struck me. Grieving loved ones is so rough but it helps knowing you’re not alone. Thanks for your vulnerability. I pray God blesses you and and all of loved ones. May He comfort you all through the grief and keep you all close to Him always. In Jesus’ name! Much love to you!
I wanted to mentiom Ligioners. Do you know of this organization formed by R.C. Sproul? It's such a great resource and introduces people to strong reformed pastors. Also, John MacArthur is a strong Bible teaching pastor. He's one of the few men who never closed his church during Covid. He fought the state of California and won! He really walked the walk, ya know! Also, Voddie Baucham! Fabulous, practical, witty and a deep theologian. Love this man.
Thank you! Many have been gifted to me or bought at a discount price. I am pretty frugal, but it just goes to show you don't have to dish out tons of money to acquire a strong resource library.
I am super curious if you have started working on "the project" you mentioned when you got to the journaling Bible at 9:17 . I am excited to hear about it more.
@@HowtoFaithALife Oh, Hi Faith. Didn't think you'd actually reply. Yeah, I have them on my "Save for later" section on Amazon & will order several at at time when I can. ☺ ❤
@@rebekahmackenzie SAME! I love the holidays but sometimes the busy, crazy calendar can distract from enjoying it! So that's my goal this week: to FULLY enjoy the holidays! Are you traveling any?
I agree. Every year I always want to enjoy the season as much as possible but then feel like I didn't enough. No I'm not traveling too far. Just 45 minutes. You?
Thank you for the tour. Where did you get the book shelving from? I've been looking for some good shelving for my growing library. Love your TH-cam channel it's a blessing.
Looks amazing ! I also have the problem of taking out several books and 😢 and then just having them pile up because you think you need them? This is my struggle at the moment with my shelving space. I can have sometimes 5 to 6 maybe more bibles and commentaries out on my dining room table and they tend to stay there because it’s the most central part of the house to study. this is happened to anyone else? Because I feel like I have books piling up, as we tend to get interrupted and want to come back to study. Yeah I don’t want to really put everything away. I need to have to go back and pull them out again. Any suggestions would be very much welcome by anyone here, on keeping living space tidy but accessible for later study.
Hi! Since Craig Keener and J. Walton are the authors of both the Cultural Backgrounds SB and the IVP Background Commentary,.....whats the difference of having both?, ...doesnt the IVP Background Commentary has double the study notes?? ....I already have the IVP and i dont know if am missing study notes from them in their Study Bible/// 😯😯
Hey Faith! I love your channel, and binge your video's on the regular! I'm searching for a good non Calvinist commentary. I recently purchased The Believer's Commentary after looking into the author a bit on line he's not a Calvinist, but he does share a good balanced view and the commentary is regarded by some well known Calvinists such as MacArthur. Have you read this one at all? Would you recommend it? I did purchase the Bible Knowledge Commentary and I like that one well enough. Thank you for reading and responding if you're able to.
Thank you for the tour, and for adding to my tbr-list ;) Totally random though I wonder, if you read that many study books, do you ever read fiction, just for fun ?
@@HS-ml8dx If it's in very bad condition a 2nd hand bookshop won't take it. Muslims wrap their Bible in cloth and bury it in the ground and then say a little prayer. Maybe I'll do that.
@@jeffreykaufmann2867 That sounds respectful, but I still think there's a homeless person who will gladly take that old Bible off your hands. But it's your decision, so pray about it and Holy Spirit will show you what to do. 😊

Treasury of David is gold. However I would suggest getting the 3 vol set. It is so much richer than the 1vol. Nice collection 👌

Due to the various Bibles you have, do they point to you believing in Calvinism/predestination? I thought you two were Baptist.
How did your sister pass if I may ask ?

sin is defined as breaking any one of the 10 commandments. repentance means you keep Sabbath and the other 9 commandments.
Sorry, this may sound strange, but your face is too close to the camera. It also sort of zooms in and out. It’s distracting from your good content.
