I do this:
First layer: I use it to "build" the lash. Meaning I use it at the root of my lashes and I wiggle it and turn at the same time (sounds weird but trust me) and I just concentrate on that part of the eyelash.
Second layer: I use it on the rest of the lash, how you would normally apply it, from the mid to the outer part of it.
They stay up for the whole day and they look fuller because the mascara goes from the base to the tip of the lash, instead of the middle part to the tip.

@@garlic1710 hey this isn't a dumb question dont worry lol. I prefer to do oil cleansing since I also use sunscreen and other products (blush, concealer, etc). But sometimes I'm so tired I just grab some micellar water and call it a day 🤭
The best thing is always to double cleanse (oil cleansing then foam cleansing in my case bc I have oily skin) but if not, just a makeup wipe will do

Personally I use the first layer with only some wiping, and immediately go in with the same masacrara (but an empty tube bc I always use the same one) and use that completely bare comb to disperse the product

Nah, bcs you have to wiggle and twist to get that curled, base to tip coverage... So you have to clean the full wand, that way you won't get clumpy eyelash tips (which is THE WORST PLACE to have clumps 😩)

I legit add water to even the very watery mascaras and legit like massage the spooly with my fingers. I rarely every put mascara on but when I do the goal is that the only way you can tell it's not my natural lashes is the color bcs my natural color is a very dark brown and mascaras have a bit of a striking black in comparison, and it's kind if a colder black I feel.

Its usually not about how much mascara is on there, it’s about the application. The best way is to get to the base of the lash, move the bristles a bit from side to side so you get each lash, then twist the brush while you comb it through.
If it was meant to comb through without twisting, the brush wouldnt be round.

Your first step is to use a dry brush without product to separate and lift. Then use another dry brush with a tiny bit of oil and do the same. Your mascara will never clump. You can use a voluminous mascara first then follow with your length . With both of them, wipe the excess off with a paper towel first then place it only in the rim of the container to pick up an even amount while warming it up and then you apply.

I just lean the spoolie part on the edge of the tube as a pull and twist it out. It’ll wipe off some of the product while keeping it the tube. Then a clean spoolie after for touch ups :)

This used to happen to me a lot. And inhated it. Then I switched to mascaras with a thinner brush. Like there’s barely any brush. It gives the perfect amount. Lengthens and also no clumpiness. The best and most affordable option is maybeline sky high. Its my second bottle and I love it.
If not this, you can always try something with thin brushes/wand.

I first carefully wipe off all the excess mascara on the wand, as much as I possibly can, then I take a coffee filter and wipe off the remaining mascara clumps and get the clusters at the tip. You really do not waste much mascara product, as you've wiped most of it back in the tube.
And if I'm curling my lashes, ALWAYS use my hair dryer to warm up the lash curler so it really lifts and holds my lashes all day long. 💕
