Ashton, I think you are a Christian artist. From what I hear, that's when you sing most naturally and freely...... like Lauren Daigle. Her voice is really unique. She got snubbed from those Idol shows as well, and look at her now..... You have so much natural ability, and such a beautiful voice. It's really lovely. Way worse singers have made careers out of singing. Forget about trying to "BE" a successful singer; just be the best artist that God made you to be, and your music will bring joy and peace and hope to millions one day. Do it for the Lord, not for earthly fame..... I definitely believe in you, and I'm a fan for life! You are one of my favorite singers. Your sound is really distinct and beautiful. It really touches my soul. God bless!

Question....At 2:08 in the video begins a very familiar tune to another song. Sounds like an older song with different words but we cannot figure out what song. Can anyone help??? Thank you in advance, from a Local Church Body :)
Just listening to you here, since IDOL.... I don't know why, but i looked up a video from Kari Jobe.... "Revelation Song". You seem more 'comfortable' singing this gospel song in your video and maybe that's where you should 'loosen your nerves' before you branch out. I love your voice, I just think you are a little insecure/reserved about "letting it all out' just yet. Keep trying for Idol.. You should be a top 5 in a year or two, and then ... to the moon !! Best of luck.
