Skoda Kodiaq Sportsline review

- In this video I review the brand new Skoda Kodiaq Sportsline. This is a 7 seater so I will also show you how useful the 3rd row is. We will check out the exterior, interior and performance of the car. Find out what technology is available and see what it's like to drive!
The Skoda Kodiaq Sportsline has an impressive interior which includes a virtual cockpit dash display and a massive 9.2 inch infotainment system. If you choose to option the Kodiaq with the tech park you will also get an off-road mode, which can help handling challenging terrains.
The Skoda Kodiaq comes with a chose of three different models the entry level Kodiaq, Sportsline and top of the range RS. The Kodiaq and Sportsline come with the same turbocharged 2.0 litre petrol engine that has an output of 132kw and 320nm of torque. The RS come with a Bi-turbo 2.0 litre diesel engine which has 176kw and 500nm of torque. This is also the most fuel efficient engine in the Kodiaq range.

After reviewing the VW Tiguan I can say I much prefer this Kodiaq over the tiguan.

What I love about your reviews is that you use cars that are "in the wild" and not off a showroom floor. In addition to the usual stuff it is valuable for a buyer to see the fingerprints, scuffs, dirt and so on - so don't change that. I recently purchased a new Allspace (the Kodiaq ended up being the other main contender). Your review filled in a whole lot of stuff that was not in other reviews, I just wish all car reviews were more like yours. Keep up the choice work bro!

Got one of these in magic black fully optioned. Yep, had to travel around Australia to get mine, still took me more than a month to find it. Best car I’ve owned and will be upgrading to the Kodiaq RS very soon! I’ve actually launched mine and got 0-100 in 7.7 seconds. Once you get used to the car, overtaking is dead easy!
I just recently drove the Tiguan Allspace and the Skoda Kodiaq is a much nicer car. 7.7 secs is a pretty good effort. Interested to see how you think the RS performs against Sportsline have you driven the RS yet?

Definitely my preference over the Tiguan. Was in a Volvo XC90 the other day. A lot more expensive than this, but I liked the Kodiaq more.

Good review mate.... am looking to buy this model, and have watched lots of reviews, yours was really helpful. 7 seats not essential for me but I like the space on offer. what do you think about the DSG gearbox vs Toyota RAV 4 CVT?
Thanks Michael, the DSG gearbox hands down better than the CVT. I am not a big fan of a CVT gearbox
50secs in to the review, did he just say about those 20inch wheels that the rubber is 235 wide and 45 inch high?

Doorprotectors will not be delivered on new kodiaqs anymore.

Next time think about how and where you park the car to avoid washed out colors, overexposure and reflections.

Pro tip: before correcting people make sure people don't have to correct you.. it's review and not "revue"
Maybe you should first learn the name of the car. It's a Sportline, not a SportSline ;-)
