Buffalo has gotten better over the past 30 years. Much nicer than I remember it.
True. Crime stats have slowly been going down but it still has a long way to go.

My home city of Buffalo, a very good city where a stress free lifestyle is possible. I moved back here from Austin Texas and don’t regret it one bit.

Buffalo is actually a beautiful city. It gets a bad rap but its not what it once was. The 80s, 90s and very early 2000s were not kind. But she's had a bit of a rebirth the last decade or so. Its actually very promising and I get to spend one or two days a month out there when I bring my mamma to Roswell
I believe eventually Buffalo will have a turnaround, might not ever be totally perfect, but improvements will be made.
Every vacant parking lot resembles the graveyard of blocks of beautiful buildings and architecture, they were all torn down during the urban renewal project and destroyed in the 1970s. Many paid arsonists. 😢 Buffalo New York is one architectural Marvel of the nation. A deep-rooted history of production & manufacturing since the beginning of time. The great lakes and Erie Canal provided success.
And then the BUFFALO BILLS were created... and they are going to the Superbowl! 🙂😉👍🇺🇲
Buffalo is definitely home to tons of intriguing architecture. Might have the coolest city hall in all of America.

VERY underrated US city in terms of raw potential (not to mention historical character, which it has LOADS of). If Pittsburgh can make a major comeback in the 21st century, so can Buffalo for that matter!

I'm a Kiwi (from New Zealand) and dated a girl from Buffalo back in 1998, spent about 3 months exploring this great city, used to bike from CBD past the historic central train station, was hoping your drone would fly out to there.

So sad it is a ghost town but im going to buy a house soon next year 2024 they a little cheap maybe in the future people star moving in back to those city im just looking for some peace n quiet i too got a home in Florida n puerto Rico like that when i go to new York city i got a home in buffalo new york is 8 hours by train n is cheap oh by plane is a hour n half so is not bad to go to new York City when im over there
The NY and Northeast train systems are the best in the country. I agree with you that Buffalo and other Midwest cities will make a comeback sometime in the future.
Buffalo is not a ghost town lol. Main Street? Sure since it's all just office buildings but Buffalo is far from a ghost town lol
If you compare it to NYC, then sure its a ghost town but then that's on you and your terrible expectations
