    • @TheJandRReptiles
      @TheJandRReptiles 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @reasonablegentleman and the same goes for NBA players. Simply catching the ball, which they likely wouldn't be able to do, isn't all that comes with TE or WR. they gotta run routes, but they'd be so bad at it any level of DB would lock them up.
      But let's say they're even remotely okay at running a route, they need to understand spacing so they don't get absolutely decimated over the middle by a linebacker, or god forbid a safety akin to Dawkins.
      But let's say they're capable of understanding spacing... they still need to catch a pass that's coming at them faster than any basketball could hope to travel.
      A football is designed to have zip. To cut through the air at high speeds. They'd never catch a pass, but even if they could the moment the ball hits their hands they're getting laid out and dropping it anyway.

He was an average college basketball player who was still able to have an 11 year NBA career. No that's not proving Austin's point! Austin said he could take 30 guys from the NBA and put them in the NFL which is not true. The number is way less and the guys that are really great at basketball will probably be pretty average at football kinda like Charlie ward was but in reverse. He said no guys in the NFL could play in the NBA which is simply not true. There's guys in the NFL now with way more athleticism and more physical attributes then Charlie Ward had and Charlie played in the NBA for 11 YEARS!

    At the NBA combine in 2012 Rivers standing vertical was 32.5 and his max very was 37. That would be considered bad at the WR position.

    The fact he just put Brandon Marshall fake ass where his own nfl brothers can’t stand him compared to a legit champion and stud in James Jones is crazy. Jones easily had more an impact on WINNING than Rivers ever did and that was his knock. Why no “winning teams” ever wanted him for deep playoff runs

      @@Chevalier1632is that not true? Anybody who could chose would chose to play in the nba over the nfl. Pay is better, far less injury and toll on your body, and laid back. Not only that, but the nba is a global sport where the nfl gives a free roster spot to international players. There are way less nba players too. That’s not even taking into account the sport takes more skill, and the height difference alone disqualifies 99.99% of nfl players. And I’m a diehard football fan over basketball any day

      @@CoC_Lord 95% of everything you said has literally nothing to do with the point whatsoever. And the only part that dod was "it takes more skill" without context, which isn't true. You really think there aren't tons of skill position players that could play guard in the NBA? Most of them have played basketball in some form or fashion, the same can't be said for most basketball players.

      @@Chevalier1632 absolutely they would not be able to. At max skill guys are 6’4. Steph who is considered tiny is 6’4, and he gets away with it by being the greatest shooter ever. Dribbling, shooting, playmaking, are all more difficult as a “skill” then any position in football not named qb

Yall know once NFL players responded it was about everything but playing the game. The NBA is athletic in a closed environment, with controlled temp and they still cry. Just stop. I still wonder why "athletes" in the NBA get millions for missing wide open shots. Rivers is the prime example.
