Damn NBA players playing in the NBA. What has the world come to
You saved this dude some typing so I’m gonna use that to compliment your post! :)
Next theyre gonna say the moon is made out cheese!
Imagine making millions and still not caring about doing your job right
Crazy!
Meanwhile all stars in the NBA play 22 out of 82 regular season games. But that can catch one down the middle Austin Collie style.
I, too, believe NBA players could play in the NBA
Nba players can definately play in the nba
Tell that to Kawhi
Nuh uh
AD is a testament that, that is a lie 😂😂😂
@@lukehyre1383Kawhi would have artificial legs and in a wheelchair
if he played in the nfl
Mitt get the title sorted what are we DOING MAN
everyday whoever posts videos constantly make typos
Mitt
Im pretty sure its on Billy Tubes...
Glad to see Austin Rivers filled the Ryan Hollins role at ESPN well
Can I just say….. Ryan was actually a terrible player and rivers was not. nobody seems to ever stick up for Austin Rivers. All they do is hate becuase his last name and his dad etc. The dude literally scored 41 points in an nba games. Like hello? Obviously he’s not a bum. Did his dad help him do that? You have to actually have skill to do that.
@@GalaxyOfBoltz found austin's burner
@@GalaxyOfBoltz i think he was starting on a playoff team like 2 years ago, with Jamal Murray out. I think Lillard put like 60 on him one game but his defense wasn't actually bad Lillard is just that guy
@@GalaxyOfBoltzWhat does that have to do with anything you say stupid stuff and your getting called out on it
“Tyreek Hill at 5’8” 😂😂😂
If getting a board doesn’t make you an NBA player then how the hell does one play make someone an NFL player?
He said he could maybe get one catch. He’s claiming some nba players could play careers as WR and TE. Not sure I agree, but what you said isn’t what he’s saying
@@TheLongestDogno his standard is you get to be any level of nfl player but the nfl players need to be star basketball player.
I bet you 30 nfl players can replace the 30 nba players averaging 5/3/3.
@@ldcow3948 There probably aren't 30 NFL players that would make an NBA roster.
@reasonablegentleman and the same goes for NBA players. Simply catching the ball, which they likely wouldn't be able to do, isn't all that comes with TE or WR. they gotta run routes, but they'd be so bad at it any level of DB would lock them up.
But let's say they're even remotely okay at running a route, they need to understand spacing so they don't get absolutely decimated over the middle by a linebacker, or god forbid a safety akin to Dawkins.
But let's say they're capable of understanding spacing... they still need to catch a pass that's coming at them faster than any basketball could hope to travel.
A football is designed to have zip. To cut through the air at high speeds. They'd never catch a pass, but even if they could the moment the ball hits their hands they're getting laid out and dropping it anyway.
All I see is Andrew Tate when I look at rivers💀
Why did you have to say that 💀 I can’t unsee it now
I was just saying that 😅😅😅😅
I absolutely love how Austin Rivers acts like he's a household name while running James Jones name into the ground lmao
Mitt didn’t double check the title lol
NBA players can barely play in the NBA anymore.
“Grabbing a rebound does not make you a nba player”
“I cud probably catch one pass and be out for the season”
"i stand by what i said" - walks back on what he said immediately
When did he walk it back
@@davidhughes1271 he said its not 30 maybe 10
It's cold out there on the field in January. DeAndre Ayton missed game because it was cold outside. Imagine NBA players playing in KC last year
As a suns fan who is glad ayton is gone… this isn’t the reason he couldn’t play lmao. The roads were frozen and he couldn’t drive out do some research Portland had it bad and I assume he was living in a nice home probs had some steep roads in some hills
@@bruhbutton4520nfl players playing in that
@@brizzyd79 its not about the field conditions its about the city not having the proper infrastructure to deal with an insane ice storm for a week that they never get. Other players had to call to get help to get out of the house but ayton had different circumstances where it just wasn’t possible due to vehicles unable to access his property
I straight up do not like Austin rivers...
Sounds like a personal problem
@@MalGK24 otherwise known as my opinion...

“I stand by my stupid ass comment.”
- Austin Rivers
More or less.
Facts.. this goof ball, have no idea ….
It’s not that stupid when you have Antonio gates Jimmy graham tony Gonzalez literally hall of famers that were college basketball players 😂
Lmao the title 😂
Austin rivers ain’t never jumped no damn 40 inches in his life. Bros not 6’5 either. Got his own stats wrong.
Dude is wack, where are all the crazy dunk highlights then?
@@Cornholio17Dude I hope your trolling because there's no way you meant that he has a whole mixtape on TH-cam with over 4 million views of him doing windmills backscratchers dunks and 360s with an explosive first step.
Brock Lesnar couldn't make the Vikings 53 man 20 years ago...0 NBA players could make an NFL roster
Brock Lesnar isn't an NBA player. CTE logic 😂
Lesnar was trying to make it as a DE, that's a whole other ball game.
@@Christopher-nv9xyExactly Lesnar is way tougher and more physical than any NBA player would ever be. So if he couldn’t make it what chance would skinny NBA soy boys have?
Dude is out of his mind. Cannot name a single NBA player that could handle the physicality of the SEC let alone the NFL.
Austin and his dad having a clown-off in 2024, jeesh 🥵
1 catch and a broken leg doesn’t make you an nfl player either 😂
Someone should remind Austin that the player the Knicks drafted to replace his father was a guy named Charlie Ward, most famous for winning the Heisman as a football player in college. He’s a fool if he thinks NFL players couldn’t play in the NBA.
The best player in college football was a mediocre basketball player, which is Austin’s point.
@@dbillinz752 Being the Heisman trophy winner doesn't equate to being the best NFL prospect. No one at the time considered Charlie Ward a top NFL prospect. He was an average college basketball player who was still able to have an 11 year NBA career. No that's not proving Austin's point! Austin said he could take 30 guys from the NBA and put them in the NFL which is not true. The number is way less and the guys that are really great at basketball will probably be pretty average at football kinda like Charlie ward was but in reverse. He said no guys in the NFL could play in the NBA which is simply not true. There's guys in the NFL now with way more athleticism and more physical attributes then Charlie Ward had and Charlie played in the NBA for 11 YEARS!
Austin loving all the attention he’s getting from this, first time he’s been relevant in more than a decade
Just a friendly reminder: NBA is the only league where High Schoolers have gone straight Pro. Some of the most successful jumped from High School.
There's a LONG list of High Schoolers turned NBA Pro.
He had no idea they were making fun of the list fr 😂😂😂
100% there are NBA players who could play in the NFL and there are 0 NFL players who can play in the NBA.
"Getting a board doesnt make you an NBA player." - Dennis Rodman enters the chat.
But also, making a catch - which most of these NBA players couldnt do because theyd get locked up in press man - doesnt make them an NFL player.
This is the equivalent off an MLS player saying " 30 of us could compete in the ufc"
Ask John Sally his opinion on this subject he will tell the truth.
NBA players get hurt too easily
Makes sense he thinks it’s hard to play in the NBA. If it wasn’t for his father he wouldn’t have played in it either 😂😂
He was a 5 star pg in highschool top rated and was a first round pick I believe in college like stop it man.
You can’t be serious with that opinion
You don’t know ball
@@tzuriel1822neither does austin
@@tjrose9830 I’m not fully serious but sarcasm aside dude isn’t good enough at all at his own sport to think that another sport could be easy like that
The look of absolute disbelief from Austin is absolutely killing me😂
NBA players are just natural for a transition to the NBA
Why bro touching his nose so much 😂
👃 🍭
@@Troy_PolamalusCousin fax
I always believed the only players that could make the transition from one pro sport to another would be Soccer > NFL specifically to play either P or K on a team. This given the switch happens today with no kind of preparation
“I couldn’t play football because it’s a true team sport where the focus is strictly on team success making it hard for players to get recognition unless you’re a superstar. My ego couldn’t handle having the focus on team vs me, that’s why I decided to play basketball because even if the team sucks but I’m balling out I’ll still get all of the praise and recognition my ego craves for. Because at the end of the day team is second to me.” Austin Rivers
Next all star celebrity game should be the best bench players vs nfl players
AJ on the inside - "GTFOH Austin Rivers"
2nd point Antonio Gates was a stud at basketball AND football in HS.. he has played before and has the toughness instill growing up.. he didn't just show up to an NFL training camp
Crazy hearing coopers name talked abt being from Maine it’s so awesome lol
Whoever did the title had just one job! 😂
It starts with the overlap of seasons in high school - and the basketball team having to wait on the football players to end their season before basketball can field their best team.
That is where the animosity starts
Funny double standard here, NBA guys still get the "could play in the NFL" even when they say it'd be for one route before they got hit. But NFL guys don't get the "could play in the NBA" because they'd only have one role (rebounding mostly)
its cuz only NBA have fragile egos so they need to get a handicap.
Nobody in the nba could play in the nfl just based off the way they all flop and cry when they hardly get touched
There are a lot of outstanding multi sport athletes in the NFL and NBA. I think the biggest difference is that the NBA roster is 15 and an NFL roster is 54. It would be much easier for an NBA player to make a 54 man roster based on measurables and athleticism than it would be for NFL player to make a 15 man roster based on measurables and athleticism.
Only way to solve this. 5 on 5 NFL vs NBA and 7 vs 7. No other way. Let the draft begin!!!
Bro is too serious Pat just egging him on pushing those buttons.
Thanks Austin, it was a great topic and we loved it! Also loved how you got cooked! Lol
7 days late, but that title led me to believe i was dyslexic
According to this guy then 100% of nfl players can play in the nba if all that needs to happen is they get a shot off. Yo for real if it wasnt for your dad youd never made it 12 years
It's disrespectful of Austin Rivers to say 30 NFL players could play in the NBA NO it spits in the face of every NBA PLAYER who has stepped on the court its wrong
That moment you realize Austin Rivers and Andrew Tate are the same person 🤯
NBA players can barely get bumped without getting thrown 20 feet expecting a foul call. They are brittle athletes who would break the first hit they give/take
I think you mean soccer (futbol) players! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lmfaooo 😂😂 so true
Austin Rivers is back and still looks like Andrew Tate with hair! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
But he never had a common Tate W
"Getting a board doesn't make you an NBA player" -Austin Rivers. Yet he can line up and run a route? Bobblehead wouldn't even get off the line let alone catch a pass.
How many people have ever made an nba preseason roster or Gleague roster having never played basketball before??? NONE. But there’s 10/15+ guys making a nfl preseason roster having never played a snap of football in their life. It’s not even a question lol
I would love to see Jokic as QB of the Broncos. 7 foot tall, 280LBS, makes pin point passes, super computer for a brain.
Paul Crew and the Mean Machine wouldnt have been able to beat the Allenville guards without the basketball players.
I’ll go one step further, I think every player in the NBA could play in the NBA.
Austin Rivers would have a MELTDOWN if he got "What A Save!"'d in Rocket League 🤣
The fact Connor thought “Chase” was for Chase Claypool & NOT Jamar Chase as a Steelers fan is absolutely disgusting
Clearly Austin Rivers does give a damn what James Jones said 🤣 Jones got this man flustered lol
The entire premise make 0 sense. If a NBA Player can make an NFL team thst means an NFL PLAYER CAN PLAY IN THE NBA. They just chose basketball as the sport they wanted to pursue. In other words, 30 nba players had a choice to go to the NFL and chose the NBA. You dont think any NFL player had the talent and made a different choice?
Dennis smith said he was gon play in the nfl if he didn’t get a contract
Not one player NFL player can make the nba right now. They can’t shoot, and the ones who are over 6’4 usually don’t play basketball.
That was hilarious
a lil surprised Devonta Smith isn't up there. He played HS ball
For a guy with a 40inch vertical, he sure doesn't have many crazy dunks. Rich privileged kids are the worst.
At the NBA combine in 2012 Rivers standing vertical was 32.5 and his max very was 37. That would be considered bad at the WR position.
The fact he just put Brandon Marshall fake ass where his own nfl brothers can’t stand him compared to a legit champion and stud in James Jones is crazy. Jones easily had more an impact on WINNING than Rivers ever did and that was his knock. Why no “winning teams” ever wanted him for deep playoff runs
Rivers gives me Heelwani flashbacks. I like his schtick. Hilarious he took soo long reading Pat’s sarcasm.
I see this being a part of the pro bowl / all star game. NBA vs NFL in a football game and then in a bb game!
5/13 was a wild show lol
When I think of the nfl I think of players too.
I feel like there's more players in the NFL that play in the NBA, than NBA players that can play in the NFL.
It wouldn't be as easy as he thinks because NBA players running around with less clothes instead of pads. It would be easier NBA guys to move over to baseball than football. Not to mention the NFL has a larger playbook to remember
He said getting a board don’t make you a basketball player but going out and getting one catch does lol 🤦♂️
We need Austin Rivers in pads so he can show us how its done apparently
It's your opinion Austin, and your good ! Who cares ya know....I was watching the show as it aired n when Austin said it in the show n damn people are NUTS!
"I don't give a #@$. Classy response from Austin.
Simple we need an exhibition game
As a NYK fan like only 50% of my team can play in the NBA cause everyone else is out for the season!! *Edit that number is dropping by the game
How is this even a controversial take, just look at guys like Tony Gonzalez, Antonio Gates, and Jimmy Graham.
Because the full point was that he doesn't think any NFL players would make it in the NBA, and therefore arguing the NBA is more difficult, which is far more clownish.
The T.E. huh
@@Chevalier1632is that not true? Anybody who could chose would chose to play in the nba over the nfl. Pay is better, far less injury and toll on your body, and laid back. Not only that, but the nba is a global sport where the nfl gives a free roster spot to international players. There are way less nba players too. That’s not even taking into account the sport takes more skill, and the height difference alone disqualifies 99.99% of nfl players. And I’m a diehard football fan over basketball any day
@@CoC_Lord 95% of everything you said has literally nothing to do with the point whatsoever. And the only part that dod was "it takes more skill" without context, which isn't true. You really think there aren't tons of skill position players that could play guard in the NBA? Most of them have played basketball in some form or fashion, the same can't be said for most basketball players.
@@Chevalier1632 absolutely they would not be able to. At max skill guys are 6’4. Steph who is considered tiny is 6’4, and he gets away with it by being the greatest shooter ever. Dribbling, shooting, playmaking, are all more difficult as a “skill” then any position in football not named qb
It was funny how Austin got annoyed. Like relax bro, nobody gives a damn at the end of the day
Myles Garrett could barely run and dribble at the same time 😂
It's almost like Basketball has skills specific to the sport that don't translate from other sports at all
Guess what austin? If your whole argument is based on playing one snap, then I've got quite the newsflash for you. Every human being on earth that's not disabled could play in the nfl!
The Nba And Nfl commssioners would get paid handsomely to see these crossover games....and everybody would watch it 😂😂
Hockey and baseball need to be in the discussion. I for one would love to see 7 foot baseball players batting. Also teams full of Chara sized players could be interesting in hockey.
I do agree with Austin Rivers I think there are definitely guys in the nba that can play into the nfl the way basketball players can box out and body positioning they would be able to get up for balls
I thought Austin’s screen froze for a minute 😂
Do not edit this title this is great 😂😂
i fell like they need to put an intersport league together now. they play a double header where they play a 30 minute game of Basketball (cardio) and then immediately jump into 2 quarters of football (lifting). keep the scoring the same, add the points together. call it the BoNos league
Lets get the headline right
This was funny 😂😂
No he said 30 v 30, that was obvious. Don't be cowards when he gets the pushback he deserves. lol I scored 40 points overweight as a toddler. Went Jokic and had parents salty. Yall know once NFL players responded it was about everything but playing the game. The NBA is athletic in a closed environment, with controlled temp and they still cry. Just stop. I still wonder why "athletes" in the NBA get millions for missing wide open shots. Rivers is the prime example.
This was hilarious
Twelve year vet through nepotism
Austin Rivers is absolutely correct. I think this could easily be proven by getting your favorite NFL players to stand next to NBA guys to give a visual to the difference
The basketball players would look like twig aliens that would snap from a single tackle.
