So glad I found this, much appreciated. I bought a place at Nowhere Else (was in Melbourne) pre-covid, getting back into kayaking. Mainly been on Lake Barrington but shall give Paloona a go, cheers.
Hi. My partner and I are heading over for a week around Australia Day with our Mirage sea kayaks. We are looking for a few places to paddle and camp for a couple of days. Lake St Clair looks great from your videos. We were also considering Lake Pedder. Any other suggestions? Thanks. Kerryn
never been to lake Pedder but it is large and be great for multi day paddles, just watch the weather for sudden changes-hopefully you can make it over with all what's going on in the world hey
@@dismaldog Thanks. We are coming from Melbourne, so hopefully things stay the same between here and Tassie. If you have any other recommendations for a few days paddle that would be great.
Geez those spammers get in quick mate. Looked like a cracking day for a paddle and the water was glass. When are you guys allowed to start camping again?

i love paloona-so much quieter as no boats
Ordered a new dagger stratos 14.5 l . I'm a bigger fella such as you. It is nice to see how well the kayak carries you and your gear.
hope you love it mate-it's a very capable versatile kayak
I found it interesting that you carry a 2nd set of paddles. Can’t be too careful I suppose when it’s the only way to move.

yeah don't know mate-cause we have a large pensioner population they are slow moving on the lifting of restrictions
I heard your premier was a bit conservative. Ours is a bit too but I guess we don't have the blessing of being an island.
How is this trip for depth? Can I use a pedal Hobie kayak and not bottom out?
Yeah pretty good-at moment it saying it is full and spilling so good time to go,this vid is about 1 metre below full
