- So me and Joe took a ride just for the day to Lake George New York for the Americade motorcycle rally with our Harley Davidson motorcycles. the trip was around 450 miles. I have my 2022 Harley Davidson road glide and Joe has his brand new road glide fast Johnnie edition.

Awesome vid was there Saturday and it was very crowded ,very crowded weather was much cooler and it was great . Did 4 demo rides and ate and drank it was a good time

Stopped at Garrison’s in 2019. Great spot off the Lake. Great riding up that way. New York and Vermont.
If u get the custom dynamic headlight it shine the side of the road for you very nice headlight upgrade and the Americade Rally is a awesome Rally I love Lake George area

I was wondering if you were gonna be there. We were there from Monday to Friday. Wish I had known where you were, would have liked to get to meet you in person. Been to Americade every year since 1985. We ride our asses off there.

John, Sorry I missed you during your brief visit to Americade this year. As you astutely noted, the riding in the Adirondacks is amazing and that's where my brother Steve and I were. BTW, from Thursday's and Friday's 80s/90s, mid-day temperatures dropped into the 60s on Saturday. FYI, unlike other rallies where riders roll in to town and show up at various venues/events on a pay-as-you-go basis when/if required (vendor areas are usually open to all comers with no entry fee) Americade charges attendees a fee (daily or full week). That fee admits you to the vendor area as well as music venues, custom bike shows, the largest array of new bike demos of any rally in the country, informational and/or instructional seminars running all day, every day, opening and closing ceremonies with music, acrobatic, and comedic entertainment, a huge fireworks display, lots of give-aways including a new motorcycle and $thousands in gear ($2000 in Harley gift cards alone), free MSF courses daily (beginner and advanced) as well as optional (extra cost) lake dinner cruises, Alonzo Boden on stage, and various other meals, not to mention guided and self-guided rides; no one can do it all. The rally opened Tuesday evening. Wednesday and Thursday were light attendance days. Traffic doubled on Friday and doubled again on Saturday. You are absolutely correct though, Americade is NOT Sturgis, Daytona, or Laconia. But, with an estimated 20,000+ this year, it is not small. A decade ago, that number was 50K, but after the economic slump of 2007-08, and then the 2020-21 COVID closedown, it's a miracle the rally survived at all. I do believe it may be snapping back somewhat, but only time will tell.

Great video John. Americade is a touring rally. The idea is you register sign up for different guided and unguided tours form Lake Placid to Vermont and so much more. The difference between Americade and other rallys is if you lose something like your gloves or wallet at Americade you will get it back. Any other bike rally you will be left gloveless or money less. Sorry I'm missed you it was an Amazing Americade but I wanted to beat the thunderstorm so I road out early. Stay safe and keep your knees in the Breeze 😊

Yes they didn't want to interfere with the 100th anniversary of Laconia plus vendors had a chance to better timing with both rallies. I personally believe they may have been fearful of the traffic if they kept the normal schedule and didn't want to over burden the village of Lake George. That's just my personal opinion. Ride safe.

I generally hate the bright blueish lights coming at me from any vehicle. I do have a lot of deer, turkey buzzards, armadillos, and skunks in my area

How much did the Harley cost
whats your thoughts on your buddys BMW k1600b.. i have a 21 snake venom ultra snake venom.. i have stock seat with gel inserted but still not the best.. but went to a dealer today and they have BMW k1600 grand american and BMW GSA which loved it to.. my bike has stage 2 done runs pretty good.. but highly thinking about a BMW for some reason

I think its Bullshit thet dont put the saddle bag quards on from the factory in my opinion they dont take away from the looks of the bike at all I didn't notice it on my bike after I got the bike home they weren't on it less for more
How far did you get on that one tank of fuel before you had to refuel
If I’m fully topped off, I’ll get 200 miles out of the tank
