- Here's a review of our 2010 Mitsubishi Montero Sport GLS 4x4 Manual. It's been with us since 2010. On this video I talked about what's wrong about it, what I don't like about it and what went wrong with it after 10 years of owning and driving it almost everyday.

Very good review sir. I have the 3.2 GLS-SE model 1st batch. I got it in 2008 and I intend to keep it. Lakas talaga ng hatak. No replacement for displacement.

Zix performance recommended shop mapa-montero or fortuner and ibang brands.. napakabait ng may ari Sir Patrick. Hinde ako siningil nung ini-scan strada ko. Yung ibang shops 800 to 1500 charge...
The Mitsubishi Monterosport second generation in the Philippines was seen from 2008 to 2016 with an upgrade in 2012 and facelift in 2013 meanwhile the third generation Delica called L300 Exceed ran from 1996 to 2004 with facelift in 2000

I have exactly the same model (black) and the headlight wash is a TOTAL SURPRISE 😂😂. yes, all those fading trims is an eye sore. All my leather wraps in the steering wheel and the gear lever are all gone 😝. Hindi naman namin nginangatngat ni misis but it got worn out throughout the time. But I love it. Really reliable. Papopogiin ko pa rin siya kahit may bagong truck 🛻 na ako.
2009 montero amin 4x2 A/T 280k odo . Dami haters nung SUA daw, pero eto still chugging along . This year lang din na try ko ulet ma 140kph, took a bit longer to get there pero kinaya parin . OLD BUT GOLD 👍

I think some of the hated features are expected since it was a 2010 model vehicle, I'm not sure but nice video though. 👍🏼

4m41 po ba to or 4D56? baka madumi na yung intake nyo sir. Nag pa EGR Blank din po sana kayo para ma lessen yung turbo lag. Yun ginawa ko sa sasakyan ko na wala po yung turbo lag.
Boss, ang kagandahan dito sa Montero mo eh manual at malakas humatak, malakas sa akyatan at kargahan, ligtas kapa sa issue ng SUA. and dagdag pa boss ganun pagka 4WD talaga matigas ang suspension kasi nakaDesign siya pangHeavy duty (kargahan).

I tried driving the same model of this car 2010 GLS 4x4 manual. it was my uncle's car. Maganda gamitin and almost 300k na yung odo reading but still good as new parin yung performance.
same 4x4?o 4x2 lang fortuner?ang 4x4 kc literal n mas mabigat yan kaysa sa 4x2 model,maganda pa to n may 4x4 manual,ngayon sa pick up n lng 4x4 manual.

I were able to repair our sun glass holder of our strada 2013. Cut wire, glue & insert to hole pin.
Well overall naman ay panalo ang Montero in terms of perfomance and reliabilty.

Yun 2016 to 2021 model may ganun pa rin kayang issue ?
Vry good vlog-i do have a 2015 gls v se at ngyn ko lng nlaman un re sa 2nd row adustable..anu po displacement nia?naglabas kc ang mitsu ng 3.2 se pero limited din..yun re sa sidings nio na nbubura i think its part of wear &tear pero narerefurbish naman p yan..DRIVE safe!

Given it was release a long time ago, what can you advice to those people who are looking for used cars na ganitong model?
if you buy a gen 2 montero sport, immediately change the timing belt. that's the only "problem" i see w/ this vehicle. maaga kasi ang palitan ng mga niyan. otherwise, aside from the fluid changes, there's not really much expensive maintenance job to do. and siyempre alaga sa turbo niya, pero that goes for all turbo equipped automotives naman.

Yung montero ko sir 200k na tinakbo. Satisfied naman ako. Palitin na lang mga shocks kina kargahan ko kasi ng mabigat😁
Total perfect sken hindi pa magastos ang maintenance.

Hi bro. my montero sports AT model 2009 my dealer is diamond motors running KM 75300 up to this present time sept 2021 yung complaim is normal all what i can say your ceiling glass holder, you can fix it DIY,yung cup or bottle holder ,by the time the car was made the size of bottle that you have is yet manufactured, so you reconsider your comments, the shifting of middle seat and last row seat it seems uncomfortable for you, you have to , consider the age of the vehicle 11 yrs.ago is along period of time in terms of modernization The discoloration of arms rest. is normal but you can fix it by your self DIY. the silver color buy a spray paint pullout the silver plates and apply paints. My car is well maintenained both mechanical and or car interior side I have no complain of my car 12 yrs ago.all maintenance was fully recorded in the log book time,place shopname,and running KM. i have no major problem, see you on your next vlogg

Rare n talaga sir,4x4 manual yan at mas rare un gas variant dw dati ni hnd ko nga nakita un haha,pero may manual 4x4 montero ang gls dati 2016 model,un lang nga panget lng dyan timing belt pa.

Petron RevX fully synthetic saka Japan replacement oil filters. Changed oil every 6k kilometers

Yes. 4x4 M/T is the rarest of them all. I love it. Both on Montero and Strada.

Yes 4D56 po. Matagal na po sa akin sasakyan. First owner po ako nyan. So far ganun pa rin konsumo nya. Proper maintenance lang siguro saka mga preventive maintenance.

Hello sir, may pinag pipiliaan kaming sasakyan na second hand. Montero 2011 GLS at 2012 din pero GLSV. Anong major differences sa dalawa? Mejo naguguluhan kasi ako sa mga variants. Wala rin akong mahanap sa google. Hehe Maraming salamat po.
Get the GLSV sir. V for variable geometry turbo. Mas mag-eenjoy kayo dun sa performance. Check nyo nalang maige yung auto kung wala pa oil leak sa turbo. Sundutin mo ng daliri mo yung exhaust. Kung walang oil that's a good sign. Good luck. 😁

I drive one and it’s a very serviceable car. Nothing fancy but a worthy people chariot.
The silver trims inside the Montero Sport is very prone to chipping. Luckily, the shop that services my car did a wonderful job of retouching them. My biggest complain about the Montero Sport SE is the 4 speed a/t. 1st gear is too short, but 2nd gear is too long, so if you floor the accelerator to overtake and it needs to downshift from 3rd gear, either it will drop to 1st which will result in a jerky motion with very little progress or it will go to 2nd gear which depending on your current speed and rpm, will respond properly or leave you hanging on the wrong side of the road due to its tall ratio.
We have the same exact model, 2010 gls. 10 years na pero malupet padin.

To unfold 3rd row seat you need to access it tru 2nd row seat , you have to fold 2nd row , for me its easier and for short people too.

All I can say is I can completely relate to your review but considering the model of the car hindi na masama yung 1 decade na performance ng strada ko. Mine is already at 211k milage, subok na subok ko na at hanggang ngayon matibay parin. 4m41 engine sulit talaga!

Wala naman kasing perpektong sasakyan. May kanya kanyang characteristic kasi ang bawat brand sasakyan na di mo basta makikita sa spec. Sheet nila kung di mo nasakyan na ng matagal. Kaya wala kang masasabing brand ng sasakyan na pinaka maganda dahil Magkakaiba tau ng taste at style sa pagmamaneho. Dati ako nagmamaneho ng montero at lumipat sa hilux dahil may compatible ako sa handar ng hilux
Sir yung palitan mo na nang Timing Belt kasi pag naputol yun habang nagdadrive maaari itong mag cause ng Catastrophic Engine Damage dahil masisira yung Valve Sa engine
